What a little gem of a boutique hotel in Mont St Michel! Everything was tres magnifigue! Especially Kiki who takes wonderful care of the hotel guests. Would HIGHLY recommend! Everything from our room to the food was perfect. Not a better place to stay in Mont Saint Michel!

It suppose to be a 5 star hotel however when arriving I was shocked since it’s in the opposite of a caravan park no Mont Saint Michel view or any view in fact, the hotel is decorated like a retirement house with the poorest taste and extremely busy. The staff has poor English and the food was so badly presented. I had no choice but to pay the 650 euros as I’ve agreed not knowing how bad it was! I expected a truly boutique experience with a lovely old building with an outstanding service. The rooms and beds were ok however I would t give more than two stars to this scammer and disonnest man!

Recently stayed here for two days with my husband and 17 month old daughter in March. We arrived early and were accommodated with an early check-in. That was very helpful considering how tired we were from our drive over from Paris. The hotel and staff were delightful in every way. The room we stayed in was a duplex with an outside patio area to breathe some fresh air in the day and star gaze at night. The beds were comfortable, the claw foot bathtub was very relaxing and if you’re not into taking baths there’s also a rainfall shower. We ate breakfast and dinner there on both days and we couldn’t recommend it more. The food was divine! Werner and his staff are on point in every sense of the word. My daughter had her first taste of caviar and it’s safe to say she absolutely loved it. We would absolutely suggest staying here if you want to visit Mont Saint Michel and the surrounding areas in Normandy and Brittany. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Beautiful appointed hotel with outstanding service near Mont St Michel. Not on the island but walkable if you are in shape. Great breakfast. Might need a bit more service people for late breakfast times; noticed most employees wear many hats and are busy starting their other duties by 10:30am

Just to be clear: This is supposed to be a 5* hotel and we paid an outrageous amount of money for just one night. Room was sort of ok. They had two sofas though, that looked as if they had no space for them in the building so those ended up in our room. We were asked, when we checked in, to fill in a paper with the choices for breakfast the next day. We thought it was just in case we wanted to have breakfast in the room. But it was not. We filled it in and we understood why the next day. Breakfast was a joke. We asked for “charcuterie” and for “homemade cake” and this is what we were served (pictures). Orange juice was not fresh. No alternative vegetal milks. Even the croissant was not fresh! And finally, in case you wanted Salmon…you have to pay an extra 9 euros. I insist: 5* hotel. When we mentioned all this when checking out, the lady (the same one serving breakfast) said this was to provide a more “personalised experience” and “to avoid waste”. We stated that this was a ridiculous answer and she did not care. She just asked how we wanted to pay. It is simply indecent. There will be other travellers visiting Mont Saint-Michel tempted to stay in a “different” hotel. The hotel knows that, most of the occasions it will be a “once in a life” visit and customers will not return back. The perfect opportunity to rip them off.

We had booked this hotel for October 2023 due to serious illness we have to cancel our stay when booking we were advised to take out their partner insurance company policy in case of cancellation as we had to pay in full at the time of booking € 1300+ for 3 nights and € 62 for the insurance , we paid both in full at the time of booking . Now cancelling a full two months in advance of the dates we find that even the insurance company is unhelpful when we have had to cancel this trip . Be aware and whatever you do do not pay in advance only a deposit

In Mont Saint Michel Hermitage is the only place to stay at. Bernard and Christophe were some of the most amazing hosts. We loved it so much We are definitely coming back. Bernard arranged everything we needed to visit the the Castle Mountin Friday m the bicycle rental to what we must see at this amazing Castle

An exceptional hotel. Our room was beautiful, well designed, and presented so many amenities and details; we were so impressed. The bed is divine, a great sleep. The bath is tricked out with wonderful details including a claw foot tub, separate shower, and a private toilet. The best quality. And the decor was stately, refined, but comfortable. A great balance. Overall, the quality of this stay is exceptional. And the staff also project this level of quality. Our room included a personalized breakfast with everything we could want, our desires and whims were the staff focus. Christophe was a wonderful host. Gracious and efficient.

Great experience. Small, boutique hotel, ideal if you are going to Mont Saint Michel. Excellent customer service. Delicious breakfast and fabulous dinner @ Table de L'Ermitage by chef Filipe Silvestre . Upon arrival we received some snacks and caramels typical from Normandie .
