The most pleasant surprise of this trip to Weizhou Island is to stay at Yuncheng Seaview Art Hotel! Must give a super five-star praise!
As soon as I entered the lobby, I was amazed. The design was full of artistic atmosphere and marine elements, which made people relax instantly. The little brothers and sisters at the front desk smiled very warmly, checked in efficiently and quickly, and also took the initiative to introduce the island play guide and sunrise time, and the service was intimate and thoughtful.
The room has nothing to say! Spacious and bright, spotless, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. The best thing is the large floor-to-ceiling windows, the real invincible sea view, you can watch the sunrise while lying on the bed, it is so healing! The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the facilities are very new.
The restaurant experience also exceeded expectations, the seafood is particularly fresh, the chef's craftsmanship is great, especially the spicy crab, the taste is absolutely amazing! The rice noodles for breakfast are also very authentic.

Cleanliness: The walls upstairs in my room were black, but the grout lines were peeling off, making it difficult to place anything on them and leaving black residue. This wasn't a good experience.
Environment: The environment was okay, but it's located in an area full of guesthouses. I recommend renting an electric bike; riding one in the evening is incredibly relaxing.
Service: The service was impeccable, deserving a 5-star rating.
The downside: One bad thing was the swimming pool! We've taken our child to Sanya dozens of times and never had an ear infection from swimming, but here, one time we had to go home to see a doctor. The doctor said it was from swimming; something got in. Looking back, I don't know why the pool water in Beihai is salty—was it just seawater? Sanya's pools use disinfectant additives, which I suspect this one didn't.

The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

IIsland Girl AngeleneOh my goodness!!!!!! We had an amazing time here! We went to celebrate out 9th wedding anniversary and I'm glad we chose this place. Upon arrival to the island, our host sent a driver to collect us at the port, and take us to our destination (free of charge). When we got to the villa, I was pleased with the warm greeting we received and the overall surroundings. The place was clean, tranquil and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised when we were gifted a cake and drinks from our host. However, I was totally blown away wjen I saw our room! The view was everything! When we stepped out onto our private balcony, we had the best view of the beach and surrounding areas. Additionally, I must say that it was a priceless experience to witness the sunrise and high tide from that angle.
The chef was unable to be there because of personal reasons, but our host made sure that we were well taken care of, regarding other dining options on the island and he even recommended a driver to take us to good food joints. The driver turned out to be our chaperone for the entirety of our stay.😂 Breakfast was great and we enjoyed the company of the resident dog (which looks fierce, but is actually very friendly).❤️
Thanks to the caring nature of our hosts, our trip to the island was excellent and my only regret it that we didn't book to stay longer! 😭 Now that I have had this experience, I look forward to coming back to Weizhou Island, and staying at this villa. It was well worth the price!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I mainly went to the mangrove forest to play, and went to the nearby Binhai International Wetland Park to play in the sea, play on the mudflats, and take pictures. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the homestay. It costs 10 yuan to take a taxi from the homestay to Silver Beach. There is a canteen in the community, which is in a leisure activity center. GGuest UserThis was our first visit to Beihai, and we specifically chose the Shangri-La Hotel primarily for its stunning environment. The biggest draw for us was its private beach, renowned for its beautiful sunsets, as well as the swimming pool with water slides and engaging family-friendly activities. Upon arrival, a warm and friendly gentleman greeted us right from the taxi, helping with our luggage and guiding us to check-in. The front desk staff member was equally attentive, meticulously explaining all the details of our room package. Our room itself was spacious and bright, truly living up to its 'sea-view' name. Drawing back the curtains revealed not only the beautiful ocean but also a picturesque boardwalk stretching over the water. We even enjoyed a spectacular sunset right from our window in the evening – it was absolutely breathtaking! The hotel's dining options were extensive, featuring fresh ingredients and top-notch service. The family activities were thoughtfully curated, catering to children of all ages with fun and well-planned programs. The beachcombing on the private beach felt particularly safe and wasn't crowded; an early start even yielded some wonderful treasures. Overall, it was an incredibly enjoyable stay and the perfect choice for a relaxed family getaway. Highly recommended!

TTraveling Family from GermanyHad a really mixed stay at this Hotel. Only booked one night, with the option of extending, but decided against.
My wife and I came on separated flight, with mine delayed over 5 hours. I arrived at 02:00 past midnight to check-in. First they the reception told me I’m in the wrong hotel. I had to proof my booking with them and the fact that my wife is already in the room. After some discussion they refused to check me in, but told me to call my wife to let me into the room. First, not checking in and registering a foreigner is against the law. Second, why should I wake up my sleeping wife at this late hours? After insisting on being checked in the process went fast and smoothly, which makes me wonder, why the discussions first?
Room was spacious and clean. Nice view over the ocean.
At the breakfast buffet we were greeted by hordes of waiters watching over a half empty buffet, at 09:30. Nearly no western food options and no cold cuts. After asking I was treated to a plate of two pieces of Camembert, hard cheese and some kind of milk cheese. Not the standard for a Sheraton breakfast.
That’s also my final verdict. For this price and being a Sheraton Resort, it’s not up to the standards one would expect from a place with this name.

It is not easy to find the location of the unit. I booked this hotel because of the super unobstructed sea view. Unfortunately, the weather was bad. There was a cold wave in the past few days. The room was very big and the heating and air conditioning could not be turned on. It was a bit cold. I was not used to using the hand-held shower in the bathroom and bathtub. The interior of the room The decoration is very simple and a bit old. Although there is a stove, the owner does not advocate cooking in the room and needs to find a place outside to have breakfast. The WiFi network is not very good either.
