We’re a Swiss couple staying at this hotel for a week. The two people who run the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. We had a lot of suitcases so they offered to move us to another room to give us more space. They also helped us several times with taxis and other problems. The rooms are clean, cute and stylish. It has everything you need and the area is very convenient for visits and restaurants. We have been to Beijing several times with my wife and this is the best establishment we have stayed in. We highly recommend it !

The hotel person was rather friendly. But I really wanna say tht the location is amazing, straight out u get to visit an attraction, the place was close to the metro station. The person was nice enough to let us keep our luggages and let us wait at the hotel. The hotel room was nice and clean as well. It has a fridge outside for all to use (which was the only downside), besides that, I had nothing to say. Would recommend or stay again next time!

The bed was a little harder than I am used to but over all the room was lovely and the location was excellent - extremely convenient to get to all the major sites and very walkable. The service was what made this hotel particularly stand out - despite the language barrier, the owner went above and beyond to help me and provide any information needed. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The aircon was in poor condition and started dripping in the afternoon. The staff temporarily stopped the water flow after working at it for an hour. But it started pouring buckets in the middle of the night, so we had to turn the aircon off on a summer night. The next day I requested for some compensation, short of a full refund for the night. Yet the boss did not entertain the request. I did not make a fuss of it, but I think it’s was not done in good taste. Otherwise the location is excellent as it’s walking distance to most tourist locations and night markets. The rooms are small but amenities are adequate. Beds are comfortable and clean.

Very good location for Beijing visit. Near Jingshan Park, The Forbidden city, Hutong...Many Restaurant around.

I liked the style and character of the room. It had an old chinese feel. The room was clean, but common areas were somewhat dirty / cluttered. The staff was helpful when I needed a specific plug for my computer. They were also helpful in dealing with a local courier. The room set up was good for a family. Unfortunately one of my family members got a small amount of blood on the bed linens. I was asked to pay to remove the blood. I find this to be an unusual request. I’ve traveled all over the world and have never been asked this. I found it degrading to be asked for money to wash sheets and be sent pictures. Not good service.

Awesome stay! Owner provided great information on bookings and restaurants. Fantastic location as well, close to everything.

Excellent location! 5 mins walk to MRT train and famous night market 烟袋斜街。Beside is the famous lake. Very convenient place to the forbidden city, 景山。Highly recommended!
