Simply live the hotel, bigger room. Next to Zizhu Garden. Burger is superb. Room is clean. Got nice view. Will come back again

The hotel is a good value for the price. Highly recommended. Spa area is very comfortable. Gym is big with modern equipment.

Shangri-La is a trusted, well-established brand. This isn't my first time staying at a Shangri-La Hotel; in fact, I've lost count of how many times I've stayed here. I'm consistently very satisfied with both the ambiance and the service. Both check-in and check-out processes are always quick and smooth. The staff are proactive in offering assistance when they see guests with large luggage. The bedding is comfortable, and free parking is a great convenience.

This is a classic five-star hotel with a prime, convenient location. I've chosen to stay here for multiple business trips. The lobby is incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the garden offers a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. It's also ideal for meeting friends or business associates for discussions.

Shangri-La, as always, provided delightfully surprising service! I was even treated to a birthday cake! 👍

The hotel is located on the Third Ring Road. While there's a bus stop right outside, it's a bit of a walk to the subway station. There are several museums nearby, including the Wanshou Temple Art Museum right next door, making it perfect for a weekend visit. Across from the hotel, you'll find Fanjia Xiaoyuan, a traditional Beijing restaurant that comes highly recommended!

Having previously read reviews that made me reluctant to book this hotel, I decided to give it a try for one night. Here's my feedback. First off, the service was truly outstanding. Every staff member, from the front desk, executive lounge, fitness center, to the garden bar, was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and highly attentive to guests' needs. A perfect score for service! Secondly, regarding the hotel facilities: The room key cards are still the traditional insert type. Even though it's in the 'New Wing,' the Premium King Room wasn't as spacious as I'd imagined. However, the amenities were quite comprehensive, though a bit 'old school.' The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too soft – I'd suggest offering some firmer options. Also, it doesn't have a smart toilet, which might be an area for improvement. On a positive note, the cleanliness was very good. The executive lounge was quite convenient and offered a good variety of options. Transportation is also very convenient, with a subway station right outside and taxis readily available. All in all, it was a pretty good experience!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, though a bit small; an extra bed would have made it feel crowded. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide, hygienic selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. The lobby was grand.

I'd passed by this place countless times before, always assuming it was old and run-down. To my surprise, the back garden is stunning, and the rooms are quite nice too.

My two children and I came to Beijing for a competition and some sightseeing. We encountered heavy rain, prompting us to spontaneously extend our stay for an extra night and move from the Boya Hotel at Peking University to the Shangri-La. The kids absolutely loved it, declaring that the Shangri-La's beds and bedding were the most comfortable they'd experienced, ensuring the best sleep of our entire Beijing trip! The service was truly exceptional. After venturing out to explore Peking University in the morning despite the rain, we returned to find our flight was delayed by two hours. The hotel graciously extended our check-out time until 3 PM, allowing us plenty of time to shower the children and get everything packed and ready. We are incredibly grateful for the hotel's thoughtful and accommodating approach. A special shout-out to the bell staff/concierge who helped with our luggage upon arrival and departure, always with such poise and professionalism. Many thanks also to Wang Ran from the service center, who proactively approached me, noticing I was with children, to offer a late check-out until 3 PM. While our room type was unexpectedly upgraded this time, it also meant we enjoyed complimentary dinner, a variety of soft drinks and juices, and a truly lavish breakfast. It was truly fantastic value for money! The children were so impressed, they've already declared that next time we visit with their grandparents, we must stay at the Shangri-La again!

The surroundings are lovely, and it's nice to take a stroll in the garden. The executive lounge also offered excellent service.

Very weird that few days before arrival, the hotel and trip.com call me daily to ask for my arrival time. I feel a bit annoyed as I already told them at the 1st call. But at the I have to answer it few times. 😒😒😒 Not sure is hotel or trip.com problem. Location is a bit far from the center area. Take taxi at least 30mins every time.
