Ulasan Longtanshan Landscape Villa, Gubeikou Water Town, Beijing

Although there is free transport service to Gubei Watertown, the lodging surroundings has not much amenities and there are only 2 restaurants. The room is also somewhat dated and looked quite different from the photos (definitely not the stated 40 sqm). We also find that the beds are not very comfortable. The good stuff is that the condo surroundings are beautiful and able to see the great wall. However, we would recommend staying in or near the Watertown instead.

My one problem was we were not told how to use the hot water! Service was excellent though you need a Chinese person or WeChat to translate.

A serviced apartment located a few KMs away from Gubei Watertown. A car service was included to take us to/from Gubei central.

I stayed 4 nights in this lovely apartment. It had a stunning view of the great wall from the little patio. The room is very spacious and comfortable. It even includes a refrigerator! The hostess was SUPER helpful in helping me find taxi drivers to different sections of The Great Wall. There was a shuttle driver to take me down to the Gubei Water Town or pick me up from the bus stop. Also, breakfast was delivered to my room each morning. I only gave 4 stars for location because I was dependent on the shuttle driver. Once you are at the apartment, you can't really go explore anything else. My overall experience was 10/10 and I would recommend!

A wonderful experience from beginning to end. Extremely clean apartment, well appointed with fresh linens and towels etc. The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The shuttle bus service to and from Gubei Water Town was prompt and easy; I just had to message the owners to ask when we needed to go or be picked up. Breakfast was delivered to the apartment each morning. We were even given a free upgrade to a slightly larger apartment from the one we originally paid for! Many thanks for a lovely stay!

The room is big and nice, the cats in the yard often visit, the service is very good, the breakfast is very filling, the kids even asked for two extra pig buns. The temperature is also enough, the only two points: first, it is too difficult to get hot water in the big bath, it feels like it has to be turned on from day to night... Second, the sound and light insulation between the two rooms is very poor, those who don't sleep well should just give up. Third, the location of the washbasin and toilet is next to the master bedroom, which is too unreasonable, it would be better to design it next to the bath. It's not enough to sleep at night without hearing the toilet noise

The house is not like the picture at all. There is no table or stool in the yard. The environment is very bad. The house is just like a rental house, very simple. The house of more than 1,000 is not worth it, it is worth 200 yuan at most.

Pet-friendly. From the beginning of the trip to our departure, we had considerate service throughout the whole process, including itinerary arrangement, car pick-up and drop-off to the water town. And pet-friendly. The room is close to the entrance of the community, and the view is good. It is a duplex loft with a screen projection, which is very good.

We had an old man pushing a wheelchair, and the store upgraded him to a convenient two-bedroom room on the first floor for free. The room was clean and tidy. Friends who have needs can refer to it. The store owner is really nice.
