Hotel berhampiran Tishun Hall, Beijing

The place is located in one of Beijing’s hutongs. I would greatly recommend taking a stroll at least once to experience the true Beijing style of living. It’s also in the vicinity of Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City and Jingshan Park for which to see all you will need a whole day for sure

Service at reception was okay. But the breakfast was very poor quality and misleading. It was very expensive and the goods were not freshly baked as described the portions small. Additionally there were no people around to serve. I had to go to the kitchen to find someone.

Good points: the staff are very friendly and helpful. 1 of them even offer to add wechat if we need assistance with booking Didi (taxi/car) or where to go to buy things/food for baby. Bad points: in trip.com app mentioned there's steriliser for baby, but reach hotel they don't have at all. Trip.com also mentioned welcome drink, kids toiletries etc, there's none at all provided by the hotel. Trip.com should update the details & dont mislead customers. And our room is compact (see photo), not spacious at all like the pictures displayed in the app. We were given don't know what view is that (looks like back view of the hotel that facing some residents place) at level 7. Hotel doesn't switch on aircon when the weather outside is cold, hence we had to call concierge to help open the window. The room feels stuffy. We start to have some itchiness & redness after wake up from bed. Please check if your bed/bedsheet is clean. Overall, we are disappointed with the room.

I liked the style and character of the room. It had an old chinese feel. The room was clean, but common areas were somewhat dirty / cluttered. The staff was helpful when I needed a specific plug for my computer. They were also helpful in dealing with a local courier. The room set up was good for a family. Unfortunately one of my family members got a small amount of blood on the bed linens. I was asked to pay to remove the blood. I find this to be an unusual request. I’ve traveled all over the world and have never been asked this. I found it degrading to be asked for money to wash sheets and be sent pictures. Not good service.

Amazing. Highly recommend. Great value for the size, 4 times the size of a regular hotel room. Would def rebook and stay at this Marriott in Beijing in the future. Fully equipped amenities and full kitchen. Housekeeping everyday and helped wash the dishes and offered to wash clothing, even though the suite has a washing machine, dish washing machine, stainless steel pots, etc. Only 3 mins walking distance to one of the best high-end malls, Wangfu Central 王府中環. My mother just had a hip-replacement surgery and has trouble walking in the snow or long distances, so location to everything was prime importance, this hotel was only 5-6 min walk to all the essential banks we needed to visit. Also, was hoping to take her to a few hot springs to relieve numbness and pain in her legs, but the bath tub in the spacious bathroom was so huge and comfortable we often stayed in to take turns soaking in the tub instead of going to the hot springs. Also, they had an indoor temperature controlled swimming pool, so we went swimming every other day, and used their gym. The swimming pool was empty and had 3 life guards guarding the swimming. All I can say is this apartment hotel is one of the best you can book in Beijing.

Saya datang ke Beijing untuk urusan perniagaan dan tinggal di sana selama dua minggu penuh. Ia hampir menjadi rumah sementara di Beijing, yang menyelamatkan saya banyak kebimbangan. Ia tenang dalam kesibukan dan membolehkan anda merasai sendiri kehidupan harian warga Beijing lama, yang mempunyai rasa yang unik. Walaupun hotel ini rosak dan hiasan dan kemudahannya agak lama, semuanya berfungsi dan mempunyai rasa bangunan kediaman yang lama, yang tidak terasa tidak sesuai dengan persekitaran sekeliling (sudah tentu, saya menantikan bagaimana rupa hotel selepas pengubahsuaian). Saya menginap di bilik keluarga yang sangat besar.Nisbah harga/prestasi hotel ini agak baik dengan alasan harganya berpatutan dan keperluan penginapan tidak terlalu tinggi. Akhir sekali, selepas menginap selama dua minggu berturut-turut, saya merasakan sikap layanan semua kakitangan hotel, termasuk Komrad Xiao Ren di kaunter penerimaan tetamu, adalah hebat👍🏻. Secara keseluruhannya, ia adalah pengalaman menginap yang sangat baik. Saya harap saya akan berpeluang untuk menginap di Dongsi Hotel lagi pada masa akan datang.

When I first walked through the doors of this beautiful hotel…I was shocked. It was like walking through heaven! The staff were so helpful in taking my suitcases, bringing them to my room, and helping me check-in smoothly. I was a little hesitant about not being able to have my room ready since I was checking in at 10am but they were so nice in making sure I had a room and they made this happen through upgrading my friend and I to a larger room! Not only did this make the stay even more enjoyable but the breakfast and pool were also amazing! My pool is huge and clean, but you must wear a swimming cap which they can give you at the front desk before you enter the pool! The pool closes at 11pm which is amazing if you’re a late night swimmer! Breakfast, on the second floor, definitely did not disappoint me as they had a great variety of western and Chinese breakfast. From hash browns, to bacon, to pastries, to fruits! You can definitely get full with this breakfast! I will definitely be coming again in the near future!

Toilet and bathroom are facing and beside the kingbed. People poo, people wee, people bathe, you will enjoy all the smell and scenic shadow view. The staircase are too dangerous for old folks and toddler/ small children. But compliment to warm and helpful staff, free self service washing and drying at basement, free and unlimited chilled soft drinks after 38'c hot days in summer, Children enjoy movie with projector at basement room. Adults enjoy yard at night with chilled beers and snacks. Good and reasonable price of local restaurants next doors. Overall was good experience with family duplex room for 6 nights in Beijing.

We got a free upgrade to a room with windows. The room was clean and spacious and we could comfortably select our own temperature.

The receptionists were very helpful, nice and polite. They proactively offered help to customers. We arrived late on our first day there and ordered take-out. After finishing, we called the staff to take away all the leftovers as the smell was quite strong. The staff took immediate action. We could feel that the staff there strives to provide a good stay experience to their customers. The breakfast there was delicious. The room provided a comfortable a**osphere. My family had a great experience staying this hotel. We won’t hesitate to choose this hotel when we visit Beijing next time.
