Trem Azul Hostel

I have stayed at Trem Azul numerous times over the last several years, and it is undoubtedly one of the best Hostels – type Hotels in Belo Horizonte with both standard rooms and full ensuites accommodations! I have had “stays” of both a few day accommodations and lived there for several months. It is great either way! Located in the historic Santa Teresa neighborhood it is conveniently located to “anywhere” within Belo Horizonte and has everything locally for either day or night life! A classic traditional neighborhood with a rich history of food, music, street side bars and restaurants, shopping and convenient busing and/or uber availability. The facility itself is very nice with all the necessities and conveniences. It is very well maintained, decorated, operational and staffed with all the hospitality Mineiro’s are known for and more. The owner, Leonardo, is most helpful, lives on site, and is extremely fluent in English, and I expect Spanish too – while being a native Portuguese speaker. Highly recommended, and even a great place to just take a break and get away for a weekend. In the heart of Santa Teresa, doesn’t get any better than this! Aproveitar!!

Se você busca conforto, segurança e privacidade em uma das melhores regiões de BH, o Trem Azul é uma ótima opção! No coração do bairro Santa Tereza, a localização é excelente, perto de bares, restaurantes tradicionais, tem uma praça pertinho onde sempre tem eventos no finais de semana, além de um cinema gratuito e um excelente shopping que dá pra ir a pé. O hostel é tranquilo, muito limpo e organizado e o Léo é muito solícito e gente boa. Recomendo! Dica: se você trabalha em home office, opte por um quarto que seja mais silencioso.
