My first ever all inclusive holiday , I was a bit apprehensive at first , but wow what a surprise When I arrived the reception staff were very happy and helpful , I was allowed to put my case in the storage and use the facilities, went for a swim in the pool straight away , lovely , clean plenty of sun beds , and sampled my first cocktail , the bar staff at all bars were absolutely lovely always up for a laugh and were brilliant !!! Arrived my room , clean comfortable and cool , fantastic views , lovely shower and clean bathroom, yes it is slightly dated but as long as it’s clean that’s all that matters The lifts are rickety and shaky but didn’t get stuck once The food was good there’s something for everyone I have to admit I was absolutely addicted to the donut Ice creams and the coconut yoghurts and melon , fruit was delicious there and the pastries at breakfast were delicious The evening entertainment was great I enjoyed it very much the reptile show and the parrot shows were hosted by the most lovely guys who took some fabulous photos which I purchased each time , after the show I had a chat with them about their birds and they even gave me some grapes to give to them well done guys !! Overall 11/10 all the staff the reception staff the cleaners the bar staff the maintenance guys everyone is really friendly , I for one will be returning thank you so much for an amazing stay

Really well organised place. Cleaning staff were fantastic. Food was really good, it was however very same ish but other than that, no complaints. I’d definitely come back here. Pool was absolutely fantastic ! Only a few mins walk to the beach!

Hotel was amazing and clean. Staff was kind and polite. Cleaners clean your room everyday. Lots to do and good quality food. The jet 2 rep at the hotel was amazing. Nothing to much trouble. Will definitely be back and can't thank magic tropical splash enough.

Unless you pay for ultra inclusive, it is not worth coming here. The inside of the hotel is in need of some serious repairs. The lino they put on the wall of one lift was peeling. On the same lift two floor buttons were broken. Another lift broke down Daily. Our room air con broke on a day that was 27degrees and the receptionist said they would send someone within the hour and no one came at all, my husband managed to fix it. We ended up eating out all the time which wasn't cheap at all because the food was undercooked and in one restaurant the food was left out all day, so it was disgusting. My step dad got ill on the first day. The kids club isn't good at all, it was on for about an hour or two a day and it was just crafts in a small room. The three mascots were never seen, u till after 10pm when one would appear on the stage at the end of the show for photos. The shows were repetitive and didn't start on time or anywhere near the time. The shows are also out in the garden bit by the swimming pools. The massive pro of the hotel was the swimming pool areas, it looked picturesque. We paid for inclusive but was only allowed in one restaurant which opened at 7pm for tea, 1pm for lunch and 8am for breakfast. That was OK. But we weren't allowed in any of the other restaurants like the pirates tavern. You have to pay for the gaming experience room which only opens after 4pm. When I voiced a Complaint to reception they were rude and didn't want to hear it. We did however meet a couple friendly people around the resort and the beach restaurant we went too. Safety isn't too big at the hotel, only the bottom level of the stairs has friction grips on them, the rest do not and get rather slippery with water and sand. This hotel would be suited to a couple but not a family with young kids or the elderly.

After mixed reviews I was a bit worried about my stay at Magic Tropical Splash. Have to say that I shouldn't have been though! Had a fantastic weeks stay here with husband and daughter. Staff are lovely and room cleaned on a daily basis. It's a five minute walk down to a lovely beach surrounded by cafes and restaraunts, even a supermarket. If you want to go into Benidorm it's a 15 minute bus journey that stops right outside hotel and very cheap at €4.80 for 3 people. There is a massive amount of food to choose from in the all inclusive and most nights had something to suit everyone's taste. I don't drink so cannot comment on that but bar looked well stocked. I would definitely return to this hotel again

Staff friendly and food great with lots of choices for each meal. Room ok but on 1st floor so only view was air-conditioning units and a bit of pool. Atleast we didn't have to rely on lifts. Bus stop outside to Benidorm and short 15min walk to either Finestrat beach or Poniente nr Benidorm. Main downside was some of the guests. Never seen so much waste of food on plates and towels on sunbeds for hours and no one sitting there. Loads of children considering it was term time. Spent more time at the beach.

A great hotel for families away from the main busy Benidorm. Plenty to keep children happy and entertained. A large buffet restaurant with lots of choice and a smaller snack restaurant near the pools. The pools are very good as are the different slides. The all inclusive plus is worth the extra money as it gets you into shows and other activities ( I can recommend the Robin Hood show). The evening entertained is as expected at a large family hotel with a good entertainment team. While the hotel reception staff are helpful I found the staff at the Jet2 desk a good source of information for getting out and about, even if you're not a Jet2 customer. The rooms are a good size. The down side, you do sometimes have to wait quite a while for a lift, plenty of them just busy at certain times of the day. The food in the Italian restaurant that you have to book is very average. Its the same food as the buffet restaurant except table service. The childrens entertainment goes on until almost midnight, which is fine for people who don't mind very young children running around that late. The hotel is in need of a good refurbishment. Especially the bedrooms. The balcony door in my room didn't close properly even after the maintenance man put a new catch on it. The balcony itself wasn't cleaned at all while I was there (apart from me cleaning the table) and the stickiness of the floor and table was there prior to me using it.

Just leaving the resort now after a fabulous week..The weather was poor for the first few days but that can't be an excuse to change your opinion of the hotel. Spacious, clean apartment, mini bar re stocked daily. Pools nice and clean, not much hassle with sunbeds Drinks were great with cruzcampo & Heineken as the lagers. Cocktails were better than we've had elsewhere. Our opinion was that the food was amazing. Enjoyed every meal every day. Plenty of choice, well cooked, warm, tasty. Very good indeed

Where do you start. The hotel is very dated, though according to the write up it had undergone a make over! Well it truly must have been a 50min make over. This is a hotel from the 80's and 90's. Lifts are very noisy, tatty and slow. Cracked tiles in bathroom floor, a kitchen area in a cupboard when your all inclusive? Staff were pleasant and hard working that is for sure. Food was basic all inclusive and very repetitive, but in general it was okay. Even though its all inclusive, you still had to pay for cards for the plastic cups, pool towels, 15 eus each, and the safe deposit of 30 eus, yes its all refundable, but you still have to pay it out. There is something very odd about the entertainment at this hotel. The adult entertainment starts at 5pm and finishes at 7pm 90% of the time. But the kids entertainment starts late and finishes at 11pm. Baby shark blaring out at gone 9 is not exactly adult entertainment. If you want a hotel which is just for young families or families with young children then this is the place for you. Bring a footy shirt and you will love it. On a plus, the local beach at La Cala, just 5min walk is lovely and paradise compared to the over crowded noisy pool area. You will pay for sunbeds and umbrella but hey that's a price worth paying to escape this very unpleasant hotel. I am certain others will love it, each to their own, but for me, it was just awful.

I chose this as Our first family holiday abroad family of 4 children 17 and under ..... Hotel is great for kids can't fault that and the layout is great .we went ultra definitely recommend! we visited magic robin hood within this holiday and as beautiful as it is it's so busy even though our hotel was full it's smaller so I felt safer being able to see my children and it didn't feel crowded. We was placed on the 18th floor even though I requested ground but what they don't tell you on booking is that with a bigger family in one room your going to be high up as that's where the bigger rooms are ! But I decided not to pursue this issue further as my autistic son didn't even try and go out on the balcony without me(I did ask on arrival if we could change but the receptionist said maybe and she would call if I could but I never got that call) the hotel had alot of Spanish visitors who were very rude especially the young girls making tik tok videos and just looked at us like we was nothing and laughing talking about me and my children amongst each other in the lift and was copying a word I said over and over and laughing ! Rude! Anyway apart from those little mishaps we enjoyed the holiday beautiful place! Food was nice and the ice cream and waffle trucks are great ! the man on the bar by the water slides with the different pints of beers ( free on ultra and a hotdog included) was the friendliest staff member he was always smiling and helpful very nice man ! We kept our hands thoroughly clean as we was paranoid about the sickness from other reviews and not one of us was ill on the stay (we came with friends also)we didn't hear of anyone being ill other than someone we met on arrival that was leaving one of there party's had came down unwell with sickness but The hotel is very clean ! Cheap Supermarket 5 mins walk away,shops all around and a few bars KFC Popeye's 5/10 mins walk if like my eldest your fussy ! Overall we was happy with this holiday and we would return again

Firstly when you arrive get the APP it is very useful and if you are ultra all inclusive you can book so much to do ,we went to the medieval night terrace natura sus natura ,used the shuttle bus and also ate and drank at the three beachfront restaurants and bars . If booking pirates tavern or Italian restaurant READ the menus on offer The pirates was nice and Iberian pork rib was really good ,the Italian was not great and the hotel do an Italian themed night in main restaurant and this offers so much more . Do take cups with lids we took large ones as queues for drinks especially at evening are huge so with bigger cups we didn’t need to go back so much The entertainment late in evening is not to bad but the magic Costa blanca shows around 9 were awful ,the singers would sing how a song sounded and not how the words should be so most of the songs were incorrectly pronounced turning it into bad karaoke The lifts are small and you do have to wait sometimes up to five minutes but at no time did they break down ,frustratingly we were in tower 3 with four lifts on offer ,the higher floors could only be reached by two of these and the worst part many ppl only wanting to go up a few floors would use the two you needed causing delays ,this could be remedied as you need to swipe your wristband so restrict the two higher lifts to just those on higher floors . Also a tip if you go up one floor and request a lift it stops at you before anyone else The pool was nice and never busy Rooms are dated but a three bed apartment was huge with a balcony and great views and were very clean The disco downstairs was ruined by groups of kids aged 12-16 running around screaming and when we used the gaming experience on a few occasions security needed to be called as these groups were running banging windows and screaming disrupting the gaming ,the member of staff did very well to deal with this but was overrun by these groups ,you would think families would want to know where their kids are The sun beds we always got four with no problems or queueing but ppl did start queuing at 820 am and the three doors would open at 9 so we just watched the sunbed olympics at 9 with the Spanish guests laughing at how ridiculous the other British guests were behaving then after 5 mins we walked out and got our beds as less than a third were used The belearic beds are adults only There are various vip beds around the oool we tried twice to book one as not one as used the whole week but no one could help us book one Finally if booking magic stars for a meal dont as they no longer do food and you will turn up disappointed like we did and then we had to cancel it and rebook Maui which wasted a few hours of our day We enjoyed our time here but would we come again ? Probably not ,we have stayed at magic rock and although it wasn’t as big as here it was run better Also many people reserve beds with towels and on a lot of times most of these wouldn’t get used all day which was frustra

We had a short 4 day holiday at the Magic Tropical Splash in August. The Caribbean Gold One Bedroom apartment was big enough for 4 people, although it is nothing special. However, the wall mounted air conditioning unit was good enough to keep the whole room cold meaning we slept well. As mentioned many times, the lifts are small and slow, but they were fully working during our stay. The Wi-Fi in the room (10th floor) was adequate but it can be a bit patchy around the pool. The swimming pool itself is a good size with a swim-up bar and 4 stools, so difficult to get a position there. It does get deep quickly but there is plenty of space in the middle of the pool and the temperature was spot on. There is an area for inflatables and if you so much as touch the water with one outside this area, the lifeguards will be blowing their whistle at you! The separate waterpark is excellent and I didn’t think the queues were that bad. There are 6 slide options, some of which require you to ride on an inflatable ring or a mat. The food was as expected for an all-inclusive location. There is understandable criticism as some of it is lukewarm, but I have never been to an all-inclusive buffet where this is not the case. You just need to be around when the chefs bring the food out while it is still hot. There is a great selection at all meals in the main dining area, including lots of salads & cheeses as well as puddings, including a chocolate fountain and the breakfast selection was really good too. You can get snacks during the day from the pool snack bar where you can self serve hot & cold drinks. For drinks from the bar, you will need to hire plastic cups for 1 Euro each. When you want another drink, hand the bar staff your used cup and they will serve it in a new one. At the end of each day or night, take your cups to the bar and they will give you tokens that you can exchange for plastic cups the next time. It is really very simple and you can take your own cups if you prefer. The drinks themselves are branded and the servings are as generous as you would like them to be! I found the staff to be efficient and friendly. There is also a nice bar in the adults only area by the hot tub where they will make you a fresh marguerita. The evening entertainment was OK, if nothing special, but there is plenty of space with it being outside. We saw a parrot show and some singing. You should not expect luxury and yes it does look a bit dated, but what you do get is a well located hotel with enough amenities and activities to ensure you have a pleasant stay. We enjoyed our time here and having initially been a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews, we came away saying that we would return.

I don't usually write online reviews but I want to give my honest opinion after spending a week here. I almost cancelled my holidays after reading some awful online reviews. The hotel is dated and needs some TLC but for the most part the staff work hard and efficiently in order to solve any issues arisen. We ate and drank plentiful and always found a couple sun loungers without having to queu early in the morning. The lifts are old and take a while but we never experienced any long delays other than those expected at rush hour but we were on holidays so we were ok having to wait a little. The hotel is not too far from Benidorm and there is a lovely beach down the road with bars and restaurants.

The rooms were very spacious, nice views overlooking the pool. We never experienced any issues with the food being unsafe. However it was a little bland. The staff at the bar some was very friendly and others were very rude. The lifeguards were very rude blowing their whistles at everything making people feel uncomfortable. Felt like they wasn’t their to keep people safe more to enforce rules. The entertainment was very very disappointing, it was the same every night. We went for 4 days and didn’t see one adult entertainment it was all for the kids, which was very repetitive same songs and people dressed up. The cup situation was so bizarre as you had to walk around the whole hotel with your cup as if you lost it you wouldn’t get the money back, many times I got a drink they didn’t give me a new cup just refilled the used cup that had been sat in the sun all day. The wifi was a joke, didn’t get any wifi in the room, I had trouble connecting it so asked a man at the front desk who replied with ‘just follow the instructions’ and when I was finally connected it only worked in the hotel lobby. Overall I’ll say this hotel was average with pros and cons unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros in this case.
