I chose Scandic because I have had good experiences in the past. However, this stay has been quite horrible. After a long journey to the North Cape and back again, it was important for me to get a good night's sleep before the journey home to Denmark. Already when I/we checked in, many young people arrived with full plastic bags with clinking bottles and large speakers in tow. I wondered, but thought maybe they should go ahead and have a party. I was completely wrong there. The party was held at the Scandic hotel from early evening to early morning. There was running in the corridors, shouting and screaming, banging on pipes, doors slamming continuously, and there was partying and noise that only really drunk people can make. I and others contacted reception who unfortunately could not deal with them. I also think that one or two receptionists cannot handle 20 maybe 25 very drunk young people. In the morning told the young female receptionist that when they complained about a room, the party just moved to a new room. She was very kind and apologized many times. Friendly and sweet service. Immediately, I think that the police should have been called if the party didn't stop. Me and my 2 fellow travelers were refunded DKK 400 for our rooms... But honestly, I think it would have been appropriate to give us the full amount back. Never before have I had such an experience in a hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel. The positives are its location beside the train station and not too far to town, the great breakfast and dinner in the bar. This is offset by the negatives. The first room provided was on the 2nd floor and had 1/2 à view over a wall. It was an old tiny room so we asked and got a better room on the 6th floor. I noted that there a temporary door to work area but reception advised it would be an issue which it wasn’t until 6:42 in the morning when the drilling started. It was also early around 7 the other days but we had to be up anyway. You should be aware that there is major work going on in the hotel and there is noise early and during the day. The room itself was fine but you ended up drying the bathroom floor each tîme you had a shower as the drain was not great and the bathroom was very small. Overall I think I would consider above before staying here again.

The hotel provides a wide selection for buffet breakfast, bed is comfortable, and location is perfect, just 3 mins walk from the train station. I arriv ed before check in timing 12+, they arranged me early check in without extra charge.

The location right next to the harbour in Bryggen is great. However I was disappointed with the service. On one day, our room didn't get serviced. No reason why. We had to go to reception to get coffees, soap etc. For a large chain, fairly expensive hotel, I would expect servicing of rooms to happen daily. I didn't find reception staff to be particularly friendly either. The hotel is large, corporate and a bit soulless. I prefer the smaller chain hotels that have a family feel to them. I probably wouldn't book here again.

역에서는 좀 멀었는데 수산시장 바로 앞이라 좋았어요 방도 쾌적하고 넓었고 슬리퍼 있는게 좋았네요 냉장고 없는건 좀 아쉬웠어요. 저녁 맛있다고 해서 잡은거였는데 퀄리티가 진짜 별로였어요 무슨 수프에 샐러드 요리 하나 있고 그마저도 별로 안 남아있고.. 연어 무한리필이라고 들었는데 절대 아니에요

The hotel concept is nice flashy & flirty for youngsters. Impressed !! Room was nice but bathroom was cold no insulation like other hotels. Water in the bathroom was not consistent sometimes it just becomes cold. Cleaning of room was not that great. Plastic glass jn the toilet never changed in 3 days we stayed Hotel restaurant was good. Food very slow

Stayed for a weekend at this hotel with my family. My wife, myself and a 2 year-old. First impression was excellent. Nice standard, spacy rooms, well equipped, and so on. Nothing to complain about regarding the room standard. Breakfast was also fine, plenty of things to choose between. It was only when we returned the next night our complaints arose. We arrived by car in the hotel garage, with a sleeping child. Already in the garage we heard the noise from the party/event upstairs. The only route from the garage to the hotel rooms was to make our way through the bar and the ongoing party. That is poor planning of infrastructure in my opinion. Of course our sleeping child awoke to the excess loudness of the music, and we had to «snake our way» through the crowd of loud and drunk people. We eventually made our way to the room, and even though it was situated at the third floor, the noise was ever present in our room (our room was even facing outward, not toward the core of the hotel). Don’t know if that’s because of ventilation or because of the architecture of the building (which leaves the roof open over the reception/bar area all the way up to the top floor). So even though a lot of things at this hotel is done adequately, this second night experience (and thereof lack of sleep) ruined our stay. We certainly feel that it was not worth the money, and wouldn’t recommend it to families (at least not when the hotel is having events / during weekends). (In all fairness: we didn’t make a formal complaint to the reception as it was not an option to opt for a new room (arrived late, and packing and moving with a tired toddler is not optimal). And neither did we see any chance of the hotel shutting down an event due to a single complaining customer.)

Great proximity to the airport, quick check in and check out. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy. Couldn’t hear any noise from the airport. Breakfast was a great selection for most however could’ve done with a few more vegan options and better vegetarian/vegan labelling.
