Ulasan Mercure Hotel Berlin Tempelhof

I have chosen a two bed room and got a very spacious room, very well equipped, comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Hotel is very well located in Neuköln, close to Kreuzköln, to subway station, to nice restaurants, cafés and local stores and to Tempelhof park.

Just a little dissapointed about the service that reception is quite unfriendly when I need some help. Location is great just near the Boddinstraße station.

The entrance of the hotel gives me a sense of not secure as it locates to a quite laneway. Others are ok as Berlin remote areas are old and poverty. But the whole night is full of sparkling sounds that make me astonished and cannot sleep well.

Stayed here for a second time and found it to be consistently good. Well located for the Tempelhoff and good links to other areas of Berlin.

The beds was kind of uncomfortable and the shower leaked a lot of water. Overall not a bad location. There are a lot of food places in the area.

Friendly staff, good location for public transport, rooms were clean and well furnished, perhaps a little dated. Housekeeping were very good to us and tidied up our room every day. Bathtub had deep black mould in the corners and not a small amount.. that should be looked honestly.

Everything from the location to the breakfast buffet was terrific. We would only give feedback on the mattress quality and how we could not cast media from our phones to the tv unless we paid extra for the faster internet per day.

Staff is quite helpful and nice. The hotel is in local area (not near tourist spot). That's so relaxing to live there. But the entrance is a bit difficult to find. And it is a bit far when I travel to the museums.

The hotel environment is good, the location is very convenient, and the staff of the reception office is very friendly

Reasons for my bad review: 1. Left my phone charger in the room (by the way it's room 212 if someone from the hotel is willing to help). Went there the day after I checked out and at the reception there was this Asian guy (just if some manager happen to read this) and after some questions about the type color etc called a manager and said nothing had been found the day before. I was like please it's next to the bed, just send someone there and recover it. Everything felt a little dodgy actually and I had to buy another one. Really bad experience for a 4 stars hotel. 2. At the checkout we found out water bottle in the room weren't offered. The same guy at the reception charged for them saying there was a price tag attached. Honestly i didn't notice it and took for granted they were free. Also he tried to charge us for a beer that was taken in the reception at 2AM. After I told him we didn't he didn't charged for that luckily. I wouldn't have payed for that anyway since it wasn't us. 3. Lavatory didn't work well in the room. 4. We didn't get any refill for shower gel which was already missing at check-in. 5. Bad lighting of the room. You don't get a lamp which you can just turn on. You instead get two abadjour. I still hope someone from the hotel will contact me to send me back the phone charger. However as positive sides i really enjoyed the breakfast which was superior compared to average 4* hotel.
