Numa I Boxer Rooms and Apartments

Great location for clubbing, walking distance of berghian and watergate. Some cool bars and restaurants in area. Lots of vinyl shops and cafes etc. Super easy to check in and check out. Quiet and clean with all necessary facilities in Apartment

Numa Boxer didn't reply between the day I booked the room and one day my arrival. But of course they took my money. The day before my arrival, they sent me a message saying that the house opening was not ready and had to be postponed for technical reasons. They offer to rent me another room in another place with 30% discount. But when i called in order to accept this offer because i was already in Berlin (coming from France), the man on the call was awful. He didn't ask for informations, i had to guess what he needed but he was not answering at all. He just let me talk, and he was just silent at the phone and just say that he will call me back. After 30 silent minutes, i called back and he just told me "I can't offer you the 30% discount and i don't have the room we talk about in the message. Please cancel your reservation (meaning I will lost my money, around 250euros), go on NUMA's website in order to book another room by your own". NEVER AGAIN, DON'T BOOK ANYTHING WITH THEM !!!!!

Our accommodation was cancelled by Numa a day before our arrival! Numa couldn’t care less for the last minute cancellation, leaving us having to find new accommodation at higher prices They are so unprofessional they didn’t even make the minimal effort to host us in one of their other properties Don’t trust them, worst service ever with no accountability or empathy Horrible

Our stay at Almodovar Hotel was very comfortable. It's near several vegan/vegan friendly establishments, including a Denn's across the street. We enjoyed the vegan friendly continental breakfast and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The bed was uncomfortable – it is comprised of two single beds pushed together, meaning that there is a dip in the middle, and the right bed on mine was completely unsupportive and more slanted into the middle than the left, meaning I woke up with back ache and had a rough night's sleep. When I politely told the receptionist this the next day she just smiled and answered "okay". So much for customer service. Also, I booked a courtyard room to get some peace and quiet, but I was woken fairly early by what sounded like housekeeping hammering on the ceiling above. I assume they were moving and changing beds, but it was ridiculously loud and surely they don't need to slam around so much and could have more consideration for guests. So if you're unwell or need a lie in, you won't get it here. It's a shame because it was so quiet the evening prior. The third negative point is that the hotel lacks atmosphere or warmth. The restaurant was empty and the service brisk, which only adds to the cold and somewhat clinical atmosphere - a little like what you may experience staying at a hostel for a much cheaper price. The food is overpriced so I didn't eat here at all. Overall, this hotel is not worth it and I'm sure there are nicer hostels you could stay at. Saying that, the main positive is that due to being an eco hotel, the room is furnished with natural materials and does not have a chemical smell from strong cleaning products, as you might find in other hotels. The lighting in the room was also pleasant.

As mentioned, rooms on the street are not noise isolated and therefore in the morning from 4.30 on it is impossible to sleep. You should warn clients and give them the option to go in rooms on the other side away from the street
