Ulasan Bellevue Palace

The experience at Hotel Bellevue Palace was truly impressive. We were welcomed by the General Manager of the hotel at check-in and all the staff members were very welcoming and friendly. The location of the hotel is about a 10-15 min walk from the Bern Banhof and centrally situated in the city of Bern. The room was spacious with a small balcony, a powder room, and a bathroom. The work desk also had its own power sockets compatible with various plugs from all over the world. Checkout was smooth and easy and the front desk staff (I believe it was Paula) offered to help us to load our bags to our car and gave us a bottle of water for the journey. The experience was truly 5 stars and is well worth the cost.

Nice room, but air conditioning was non existent and prevented us from sleeping. The hotel restaurant service was awful. The waiter was inattentive and rude. In fact, when it came time for desert, he yelled at us from 10 feet away asking us whether we wanted desert. That followed 3 attempts to order a glass of wine and actually grabbing our silverware from our hands when he decided he gave us the wrong utensils. I could go on.

A beautiful, historic building with warm and attentive staff, the Hotel Bellevue Palace offers a delightful breakfast on its charming terrace. The room had an amazing view of the river Aare and the Gurten, making the stay even more memorable. From the impeccable service to the stunning views, every detail of my stay was exceptional. A truly wonderful experience in an iconic hotel—I can't wait to return.

An all-round wonderful stay: room with a great view, comfortable bed and large/modern bathroom. Plus the very friendly and personal service from the hotel team: from check-in to the restaurant and bar to check-out. Also, the location is super central, close to the train station and main sights.

All perfect. Quiet room with a very nice view over the river Aare (4th floor). Style of the hotel in general very pleasant - keeping the tradition while at the same time being up-to-date.

My wife stayed in a suite overlooking the Aare river in 1984 while working for Tobler Suchard Chocolat in Bedford, UK who had a factory there at that time. Tender is the Night TV Mini Series was being filmed. Peter Strauss played Dick Diver and he was not happy doing re-takes on the carpeted staircase. We were staying in Interlaken for two weeks and decided to have Afternoon Tea with Champagne on the Terrace at this grand Hotel. From the moment you step foot in this beautiful Hotel there is a feeling of quality and calm. The flower arrangements and decor are exquisite. We proceeded to the Terrace and we were shown to a table near the back, although there were seats available nearer to the views of the river. We said we would like the Champagne first, and after a wait, it arrived. Then we had another wait for the sandwiches, etc. During this time a couple who were obviously staying at the Hotel walked in and sat directly behind us, talking loudly. There were other seats available but they chose to sit close to us. The afternoon tea was expensive, but not unexpected in a Swiss Hotel of this calibre, but it was very disappointing. We have had much better Afternoon Teas in Cafe Concertos near Piccadilly, London. We were not in a hurry, but there was a long wait for service, and they weren't very busy. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment but we still had a good experience and a feeling of deja vu for my wife after all those years.

A truly wonderful, historic and unique hotel located in the city center next to the parlament. Staff was extremely friendly and the room was spacious and with a fantastic view of the river and the mountains. Breakfast, both buffet and a la carte, quality was superb and the waiters were always attentive. I will definitely come back. A must visit if you come to Bern.

We spent two nights here prior to a Rhine River Cruise. The hotel is beautiful and located in the heart of the beautiful city of Bern. The room was nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Although our tour our tour didn’t include the highlights of Bern, we enjoyed exploring the city both mornings before our scheduled tours began. The only negative was that the breakfast buffet was just fair and service was slow.

Great place to stay in Bern, right next to the confederation federal palace and the Swiss national bank. The view from the room and the terrasse is fantastic! I also really enjoyed the food from the restaurant and the breakfast capuccino, worth the visit !
