First the good things. It is across the street, in front of the train station at Bern. It was perfect for us as we were planning to (and did) go to a different city every day. They also gave us a voucher so we could use all Bern public transportation during our stay. I dont know if it is a standard in Bern, but it was welcomed. On the other hand, dont expect the hotel to be a luxury or modern one. The hotel is simple, to put it nicely. At some hours, during the day, the entrance had a bad smell. We did not book the breakfast, but, when we checked it, it turned out to be a wise decision. Room heating can only be controlled by opening windows. Pluggin laptops, phones and other things that needed charging was an exercise in logistics. The people at the front desk were all over the spectrum. The lady who received us was incredibly nice. That was it. Everybody else at the desk seemed to dislike their job and were more than willing to let you feel it.

Stayed in this hotel for two weeks during my official visit in Switzerland. Located just opposite to Schonegg Tram stop, this hotel is just 10 mins from Bern Bahnof (Railway Station). This is an old design hotel with all modern amenities. The staff at the reception are polite helpful. The room which I got was at the end of the corridor which was quite small in terms of width. The bed was also quite small. The room was giving a vibe of coziness though. The bathroom was neat and clean but was small The hotel has an in house restaurant located in the first floor. Overall the food in the menu were quite expensive. The room rent didn’t include complimentary breakfast so the breakfast was also quite expensive ( 7.5 CHF for express and 19.5 for Buffet) Positives 1. Courteous Staff 2. Free High speed Wi Fi 3. Complimentary Public Transport pass 4. Clean and Hygienic room 5. B’ful view from the window 6. Check In and Check out was smooth Negatives 1. Small room 2. Ich war für zwei Nächte in der Jugendherberge Bern und muss sagen, dass es eine super Adresse für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Bern ist. Die Reservierung und Bezahlung vorab war komplett unproblematisch. Der staff war super freundlich, hat sich Zeit genommen Dinge zu erklären und man konnte sogar nett plaudern. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und großer Bonus: Es gibt für jeden einen Schrank den man mit der Zimmerkarte verschließen kann. Das Frühstück ist inklusive und es ist mehr als reichhaltig: Kaffee, Müsli, Brot, Käse, Obst so viel man will. Angesichts der teuren Preise in Bern ist das ein absoluter Genuss so in den Tag zu starten. Man bekommt im Preis inklusive auch die Bern Card 2. Klasse mit welcher man alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel nutzen kann (auch die Gurtenbahn). Ich habe nur zwei kleine Dinge zu bemängeln: Bad und Toilette waren ins Treppenhaus gebaut und sehr eng. Und die Matrazen waren absolut durchgelegen. Abgesehen von diesen Kleinigkeiten kann ich aber besonders auch aufgrund der Lage einen Besuch nur empfehlen. Die Jugendherbeger liegt direkt an der Innenstadt und es ist trotzdem angenehm ruhig direkt neben der Aare.

The worst experience of my life! I planned to visit the beautiful city of Bern with my family a few years ago. The visit to the city was wonderful and to top it off I chose a four star “Boutique Hotel” to stay with my family and have a great experience. UNFORTUNATELY, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN! The hotel put my family in a room on the top floor in the ATTIC with small windows and no air circulation. To solve this, the “four star Boutique Hotel” put a fan in the room. Apart from this problem, the room had a hydraulic problem and the hotel found a very creative solution to solve the problem! The entrance door to the room was cut and through it passed a tube that entered through the outside of the wall reaching the bathroom with the door also cut! a work of art that unfortunately does not match the expectations I had for a “Boutique Hotel” in Bern - Switzerland! A very sad experience! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! ( attached photos )

We have a great experience when we stay in this hotel, clean, comfortable and large room with beautiful view the city of Bern, also the friendly staff. Good location and easy to access. Need a little improvement about an iron, i think it's better if an iron is provided in each room. Because most of guest need it.

Talking about fun - the Stade de Suisse stadion is just across the road, and besides being the home of the BSC Young Boys soccer club, it’s the most modern conference and event arena in Switzerland. With all the modern conveniences in our Moxy, you might be tempted to just chill out in one of our 130 rooms. But once the party starts, you'll find out that our crew is ready to turn the heat up. When it's time to crash, head back to your minimalistic, loft-inspired hotel room with ultra-modern furnishings, free WiFi and walk-in showers.

Stayed here to be close to the stadium, which is a 5 min walk away on the other side of the Wankdorf train station. Room was a reasonable size and clean, good shower and firm bed with decent pillows. The bathroom sink had trouble draining which was a bit annoying. Service at check-in/out was on the slow side and could be improved. Bar/lounge area was nice and had a good variety of drinks/snacks as well as board games and a fussball table. Lots of work stations available too. Overall, it was a good value for Switzerland and fine for one night. Even if you don't need to be near the stadium, it is a good budget option in Bern since you get free local public transport and there are frequent trains to the main Bern station (3 min ride).

PPengguna TetamuThe experience at Hotel Bellevue Palace was truly impressive. We were welcomed by the General Manager of the hotel at check-in and all the staff members were very welcoming and friendly.
The location of the hotel is about a 10-15 min walk from the Bern Banhof and centrally situated in the city of Bern. The room was spacious with a small balcony, a powder room, and a bathroom. The work desk also had its own power sockets compatible with various plugs from all over the world.
Checkout was smooth and easy and the front desk staff (I believe it was Paula) offered to help us to load our bags to our car and gave us a bottle of water for the journey.
The experience was truly 5 stars and is well worth the cost.

PPengguna TetamuThe location of the hotel is located about 3-4 tram stops from the Bern station. There weren’t many amenities located in the vicinity of the hotel and they are mainly found 1-2 tram stops away. The good thing is that the city provides hotel guests with free tram transportation so you should ask the front desk about it.
The room size was decent but not very big. The air conditioning did not seem to work very well and we had to open the window in winter to cool down the room. However, the minibar was complimentary and they provided apple juice, still water, sparkling water and beer (2 bottles each).
The experience was generally consistent with that of a 4 star hotel and the price.

每層樓有個功能不同的公共空間。五樓有個健身空間，配單人浴室和一個最多容納兩人的桑拿箱。有電梯，不過電梯下來去房間還得有幾級台階要上。走道鋪了地毯，還是蠻安靜的。
前台很友好。入住即可得免費城市交通權益（電子卡），需要下載一個伯爾尼的APP才能使用。

Excellent hotel. Just a few minutes by bus and/or tram from Bern. (Free if you stay 3 nights or more.) Choose a room in the newer, quieter annexe at the back. 2nd floor, west facing. Lovely to sit on the balcony in the evening sun. Book direct with the hotel is the hotel’s recommendation and they are more likely to take notice of any requests. Good tea room and restaurant. Plenty of outdoor tables too. Spacious private underground parking. Not too many spaces outside hotel. Didn’t have breakfast, so can’t comment. Minibar, kettle, mineral water etc in room. Very Swiss, very nice. Even (some of) the internal doors were polite (they open as you approach).

Quiet at breakfast. Good enough for breakfast. In conclusion, I was surprised that the rooms in the old town hotel would have such good rooms with four to five star standards. I'm glad I stayed here and will definitely come back to stay again. Recommended for Everyone.

PPengguna TetamuSuper hôtel, accueil très sympa et chaleureux. Nous étions dans une chambre Budget, très propre et silencieuse malgré la promiscuité entre les chambres. Situé au nord de la ville l’hôtel se trouve juste à côté d’un arrêt de tram qui vous permet d’accéder en 10min au centre ville, sinon le centre ville est à moins de 30min à pied. Aussi vous pouvez obtenir des billets de transport gratuit pour la durée de votre séjour. Nous n’avons pas eu la chance de tester le petit déjeuner trop cher pour des des petits français comme nous. Je recommande également, par beau temps, d’aller aux piscine gratuites et extérieure situées en dessous du parlement et à côté de l’Aar avec une possibilité à cet endroit de se jeter dedans et se laisser emporter par le courant sous la surveillance d’un maître nageur plutôt attirant. J’ai fein la noyade mais malheureusement il n’est pas venu à mon secours. Pour les amateurs de speed dating je vous recommande le plongeoir ou même le petit restaurant où plein de gens très beau viendront acheter des trucs que vous, en tant que français, n’auront pas la chance d’acheter. Bref l’hôtel est super bien ! Et si vous avez pas beaucoup d’argent des restaurants situés le long du chemin du retour à l’hôtel en partant du centre ville sont très abordable.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotels in the center of Bern where I usually stay were all booked for at least one night of my stay at the end of August/early September. I knew that Ibis was new, so I thought I'd try it. It's quite convenient to the tram (no. 9), which the hotel can give you a free ticket for. The front desk staff were all quite helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet seemed expensive (Sfr 16), especially since items weren't kept filled. Then I found that the Ibis-Budget breakfast had the items I liked, was Sfr. 3 less expensive, and items were kept filled. I'm not sure if the cross-over is always possible, but it worked for my last day. And I found that for what was offered, the price was OK (coffee and a croissant at my favorite Glatz bakery were about Sfr 9; the hotel had muesli, rolls and croissants, and various types of coffee, plus juice and other options).
