Très bel hôtel avec une décoration art-deco qui ne peut que nous laisser sous le charme de cet établissement.

This hotel stands proud near the lighthouse in beautiful Biarritz. We expected great things , not put off at all by the position of the hotel as we are fit and well and enjoyed the walk into town and back . We did not like our first room which was very small . To be honest I think if I was critical the hotel could do much better on their website explaining the room set up . We like a king bed which we got , but there was not enough storage space and no walking around space at all . Reception dealt with our request well and my husband checked the room an ocean suite which was lovely but after we got unpacked I realised the room was huge but the bed was a normal double . My hubby at this point refused to move again so we put up with it for the 4 days . We did pay for the upgrade . I like a hotel that explains what you get . Eg cosy room Etc which was what our first room certainly was . On to better things . The staff first and foremost were fabulous very cheery and helpful . The pool was gorgeous and we enjoyed a few hours every afternoon sitting out . Breakfast was good but not great . Would have loved a fresh cooking station for omelettes fresh eggs .. no variety the exact same every day and where were the glorious French baguettes and croissants. None in sight except tiny croissants that to be honest were not that great . We had one dinner In Frenchie restaurant which was absolutely fabulous best of stay . Finally to end the hotel is good overall but I thought it lacked a bit of atmosphere. It was quiet, piano player one night but not enough for us to stay in more than the one night . It’s a shame . Biarritz is amazing just can’t quite decide if I would stay in the Regina again.

Great service, comfortable room with spectacular view. It’s a 10min walk to the beach and 15 to town. Going it’s downhill (not a significant slope) so if you’re not into walking consider taking the bus to and from (there is a stop in front/near of the hotel). Dinner at The Frenchie (hotel rest) was phenomenal. Food was beautifully presented and the staff would explain every little detail. I would ask them to work on the wine pairings as they were a bit rough. Sommelier and wait staff super duper. Don’t be offended if they ask you if you prefer to speak English. It’s part of the service protocol! Easily would have given a 5 ⭐️ if it weren’t for the bathroom. There’s nowhere to put your hand towel and/or your toiletries. I would suggest the hotel invest in a couple of shelves and extra hooks as there is plenty of room to work with. Wonderful stay. Thank you #amextravel

Gorgeous hotel overlooking the ocean. Walking distance to center city. Rooms are spacious and warmly appointed. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows. Staff is very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The lobby bar serves excellent cocktails and there is live music in the evening.

The hotel combined with the vibe of the Biarritz is the best match you can have for an amazing experience. We just loved the hotel the design, the rooms and the breakfast. What we didn’t loved was the bathroom, we stayed in the Anglet Suite and the bathroom does not have a shower, and bathtub was impossible to get in. And the bathtub is positioned in front of a see through window. They must fix that immediately.

We come regularly to Biarritz and normally stayed at Radisson. We decided to try Refina experimental, eventhough is a bit out of city center. Actually goes quite fast to walk into the city so we didnt regret our choice. Nice deco and modern touch. We tried the spa which was very professional. Also tried there excellent healthy herbal teas from Mana Bella (which you. can also buy there). Very attentive and service minded staff. We also tried the restaurant Frenchie which was excellent. All in all we truly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Will come back.

Gorgeous, sumptuous hotel! We spent 10 fab nights here and even in bad weather we could sit in the most fabulous hotel bar and read and relax. Beds are good and the design of the place is just a feast for the eyes! It is a little way out of the main town - about 1km but there is a free bus every half hour N11 although it ends at 7.30pm. We never found any problem getting a taxi back up later in the evening. Loved the pool area and the attendants brought lovely lunches and cocktails on request. We are twice in the restaurant which was exceptional and the one breakfast we had was extensive and lovely too! All of the staff were focused on giving great customer service! Just lovely really and would definitely return.
