We stayed three nights in the summer for a conference. This is a historic hotel that has definitely been remodeled recently. It’s attached to Shoshoni, which is a much taller building currently undergoing renovation so there is a little bit of renovation disruption. Every staff interaction I had was good and the conference food was among the best conference food I’ve had. Our room had clearly been recently remodeled in what I would term rustic sharp. There’s artwork of the local peak, rough wood, comfy fleece blankets, and a delightful sitting area near a large window with a great view. There are small balconies, which are appreciated, but don’t appear to have been part of the remodel. There are undertones of the historic building such as creaky floors and noise from upstairs, but not enough to be disruptive. The bathroom was also freshly remodeled with nice toiletries. There are multiple pools and hot tubs, and the pools were heated so totally comfortable even in the early summer. There are a couple of cute on-site shops, and one on site restaurant, which I felt had minimal choice and high prices. I understand some rooms come with a voucher though ours did not. But ours did come with the ability to get one ski lift ticket per person per day, which was a lot of fun. valet parking was amongst the most affordable we found. A few of the negatives, while Wi-Fi and Internet service were great in the common areas. It was pretty sketchy in our room. Also, we were never able to connect to the TV for our streaming services which I’m personally attributing to the Wi-Fi. On a related technology note we had to have our room keys replaced an exceedingly large number of times because they stopped working. all in all a comfortable stay at a pretty resort.
