This hotel was one of the nicest surprises of our trip to Rajasthan. A real luxury hotel at a reasonable cost and with all the necessary comforts. We were welcomed like Maharajas with the sound of the trumpet of the friendly Manoj, who helped us settle in and take some beautiful photos. We particularly appreciated the food and the old-world atmosphere of the hotel. It was a real shame to have spent only one night there.

Horrible food and worst staff behavior. No accountability of manager or owner. Nobody ready to face the issue. Small insect (kechua) was found inside rice and dal. Small children ate the food and fell sick. Owner (Mr. Agarwal) ran away and manager also disappeared, leaving behind waiters to answer. Their reply was we did not prepare the food, chef did. He has left so there is no one to answer. In the morning they left a bouncer to take out full money of the garbage food we threw away from us. Every family should stay away from this hotel.

We stayed here for a family wedding. This was our place of stay before the main functions started. We later shifted to Heritage Resort for the main functions. While that one is more spacious, this was situated bang in the middle of the city. The rooms were comfortable and functional. Hot water was an issue, one has to wait 10mins or more to get hot water, all the while wasting tap water. One of the days the AC vent started stinking of dead animal and after 2-3 hours the staff retrieved a dead rat from the overhead shaft! The room had to be aired to get rid of the smell. Food was good and the Tea was amazing. We had taken buffet breakfast and they did refill the spread even after the time of breakfast was over. Thankful for this as the family members (guests) kept trickling at their own pace.

We (me, wife and our 2 year old kid) stayed at the Park Paradise on our way back from Jaisalmer. Overall the experience was excellent. The room was big and spacious. It was also very clean. The staff was very courteous and attentive to all our requirements. I need to specifically thank Mr Ankit (who was handling the reception) and Mr Swapan (a staff in the restaurant) for the very personal attention they gave during our stay. Both dinner and breakfast were included in the package we booked and the food quality and service were excellent. The restaurant serves excellent veg and non-veg food. I was also impressed by the mutual respect and excellent coordination I could see among staff at all levels, starting from senior manager to the junior most person in staff. May be the only additional thing they could do is to keep a copy of the food and beverages menu also in the rooms. Overall a good business hotel to stay in Bikaner city.

We moved hotels at the last minute due to the state of the prior hotel. The staff quickly accommodated us and found us a room where we stored our luggage whilst we continued with our day tour. On returning they moved us to a larger family room with 3 beds and also moved a fridge into our room. There was no safe or kettle but these can easily be added and I'm sure they would have found us a kettle if we asked. The room was spacious enough and the ceiling was decorated beautifully, however some of the light bulbs needed replacing as many had blown. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel, a little above average price but we enjoyed it. Breakfast was simple due to few clientele we had an omelette and jam on toast with tea/coffee. This could be improved. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff did everything they could considering the last minute arrival.

The location here is unbeatable - within walking distance from Junagarh and the old city. The food here is very good, and the charm of the old heritage wing, including the restaurant and reception, is well maintained. There is also a new wing, with good rooms that have shaded balconies. In the two heritage rooms I stayed, the washrooms were in need of repair or updating - both had cracked tiles and stained grout. It's good to have the new wing of rooms, but I'd say a little more care towards the heritage rooms will also attract new business.

My one-night stay at Laxmi Niwas Palace from the 16th to 17th December was nothing short of spectacular. From the outset, the check-in process was seamless, prompt, and handled with utmost care, ensuring a warm welcome to this magnificent heritage property. A special mention goes to Mr. Vikas, the manager, who patiently and warmly answered all my queries about the century-old palace, sharing fascinating insights that deepened my appreciation for its history and charm. The highlight of my arrival was the grand surprise upgrade to the Maharaja Suite, which was simply extraordinary. Spacious, beautifully adorned, and thoughtfully designed, the suite epitomized luxury and comfort, with ample storage and a grand bed perfect for two. The property itself is impeccably maintained, celebrating the originality of its historical structure while ensuring the highest level of comfort and luxury for its guests. My dinner at Gulab Mahal was an absolute delight—the food was exquisite, and the staff were affable and pleasant, creating a dining experience that was as memorable as the surroundings. To top it all off, the hotel staff surprised me with a heartwarming birthday celebration, a gesture that I will cherish forever. A particular gentleman, whose name I regrettably forgot, went above and beyond to make the celebration truly special and unforgettable. Every aspect of my stay, from the grandeur of the suite to the thoughtful gestures of the staff, made this visit exceptional. I will undoubtedly return to Laxmi Niwas Palace, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and authentic royal experience in Bikaner.
