Hotel berhampiran Gabarra Athletic, Bilbao

Hotel cercano al centro y con todos los servicios necesarios al lado. No hay ascensor. Las paredes son papel de fumar. Se escucha todo y cuando digo todo es todo. Si se tiene la mala suerte de tener de vecinos a usuarios sin consideración, tendrás probelmas para conciliar el sueño. Los recepcionistas amable y atentos. Habitación básica para dormir solamente.

Das Hostel verfuegt ueber sehr saubere Mehrbettzimmer. Das Bett war auch sehr sauber. Leider war das Bett fuer meine Groesse ein paar Zentimeter zu kurz. An der Sauberkeit der sanitaeren Anlagen gab es nichts zu meckern. Das Gemeinschaftsbad und Dusche waren sehr sauber. Das Fruehstueck war sehr einfach gehalten, jedoch voellig ausreichend. Sehr sauberer Fruehstuecksraum und auch sehr sauberer Aufenthaltsraum mit grossem Flachbild-TV. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich sowie hilfsbereit. Das Personal spricht auch englisch. Kreditkartenzahlung ist auch moeglich. Zwei Fahrstuehle sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Komplett behindertengerecht eingerichtet. Super. Auf dem Gelaende der Jugendherberge gibt es ausreichend Parkmoeglichkeiten. Verschiedene Getraenke- und Suessigkeitenautomaten waren auch vorhanden. 24Stunden Rezeption. Sehenswuerdigkeiten, Restaurants, Innenstadt, Kirchen und Museen koennen nicht zu Fuss erreicht werden. Bus Nr. 28 haelt aber direkt vor dem Haus und faehrt in die Innenstadt. Ich hatte mein Zimmer im 7. Stock. Von dort hatte man (gerade in der Nacht) einen spektakulaeren Ausblick auf die Stadt. Es erstrahlte einfach alles. Echt herrlich. Wuerde dort in jedem Fall wieder uebernachten, sofern ich in Bilbao bin. Gut und Guenstig. Doch eine super Jugendherberge.

Purtroppo per la spesa che ho sostenuto, nonostante la posizione fosse ottima, abbiamo avuto una camera che non rispecchiava minimamente le nostre aspettative o comunque le indicazioni riportate sulla piattaforma. La camera era minuscola ed aveva il bagno per disabili che per noi era veramente molto scomodo. Nessun tipo di servizio o fornitura all'interno se non gli asciugamani. Non sono solita lasciare questo tipo di recensioni ma per la cifra spesa non mi aspettavo questo servizio.

Hotel perfecto para recorrerte el País Vasco. Buena calidad y buen precio. Fuimos 3 amigas para una estancia de 4 días. La habitación super limpia, y el personal muy atento y amable. Especialmente el Director, Jose, pendiente a que todo estuviera bien y el recepcionista, Jose Ángel, dándonos indicaciones de adónde ir, recomendaciones etc. Lo recomendaría sin duda tanto para unos días en Bilbao como para recorrer el País Vasco ya que la autovía está al lado y es super cómodo dejar el coche allí. Repetiremos seguro. Gracias al personal.

Good budget option, small clean rooms, parking in basement. Simple breakfast. Location is not really central, more on the edge of town.

Uno de los mejores alojamientos calidad-precio de Bilbao (dado que el alojamiento en esta ciudad está cada vez más caro). La atención que hemos recibido en recepción un 10. Natalia ha sido muy atenta y amable. La zona del hostel está cerca de la boca de metro de Deusto, que queda a pocas paradas del centro.

We arrived late at night at the hotel after a day's travel but the hotel staff greeted us warmly and were there to help us with our bags. The hotel is located opposite San Mamés Stadium towards the west end of the city centre, with handy tram stops nearby. However we walked while in the city, 5 minutes or so down to the river, 15 minutes to the Guggenheim and 20-25 minutes to the old town, a great location. The hotel is a modern build, bit of a 'block' but not without character. We had a good sized room, all the expected facilities, including tea and coffee making. The bed was comfortable and large! The toilet was not spacious but there was plenty room and all the facilities one would expect, a good shower and plenty of hot water. Unfortunately, we didn't have much of a view from our room, we looked out over a courtyard and the town at the back of the hotel with a tree partially obscuring the window. This wasn't a huge drawback for us, as we spent more time out than in however it might be a consideration. The other side of the hotel looks out on to the football stadium. There was no game on while we were there but I would imagine it would be busy and noisy during a match. The hotel has a terrace bar that overlooks the river but this was not open during our stay. We had booked rooms with breakfast and this is one of the highlights of this hotel. There is a great range of options, laid out buffet style. There are also cooked items available. The food covered local offerings, 'international' items and some temptations, ever had a glass of Cava or a 'Bloody Mary' for breakfast? I enjoyed the fruit, the pastries, smoked salmon, rolls and toasted bread, really appreciating so much variety and quality food. The coffee from a 'pod' machine was rich and tasty. Other hot drinks were available. A word too for the friendly waitress who ran the whole show with calm efficiency, she was always there to advise and help. Generally we ate in the town centre however one night we ate locally at a good pintxos bar, busy with a fine selection of food and rink, about ten minutes walk from the hotel. There seemed to be plenty other options close by that might be worth exploring. Check out was 12:00 which gave us time for a final walk before we left. The hotel provides a left luggage service which enabled us to leave our bags while we went to pick up our hire car. This was the first hotel on our holiday and from the initial warm welcome to the helpful services on departure we enjoyed our stay. Comfortable rooms, the great breakfast and helpful and friendly staff all came together to provide a very enjoyable experience.

I needed my boyfriend to stay over while I was traveling and this was the perfect place. This isn't a 5-star hotel, but it did the trick and we were very comfortable - here is why. PROS - Coming from Bilbao Airplane or taking Bus?...: It is close to 2 blocks from Bilbao Intermodal and if you are coming from the airport, this hotel is an easy walk from where the bus drops you off in San Mamés. The location is also SUPER safe. - Transportation: If you look down the street and cross it, you will also see the tram station along with the metro station. - Food?: There is food everywhere. This is Bilbao. Spend 2 euros (or really please buy a Barik card) and go into the city, you won't be disappointed. The best part about the tram is that it goes theoretically left or right. I live close to NYC so I understand it can be complicated, but the system in Bilbao, chef's kiss. - Bed/Room: Pro? The bed/room you get in sleek, modern, and for a REALLY CHEAP PRICE! Please don't hassle your way into spending a lot of money on a hotel in Spain. It is not truly worth it. Just get this place, feel comfortable, and safe. - Staff? There are not many, but the ones that are there will help and accommodate you. You just need to be nice. I say this because I went in to check in and someone was being helped. They weren't that nice to staff, so please remember, we are all human. CONS - Cleaning: I will say, the bathrooms were clean, but the headboard for me was dusty. It might have been that the room wasn't used a lot. But please don't worry, it did not effect my stay considering the price was reasonably cheap. - THE ENTRANCE!: You need to understand, their rating is a 2/5 stars but it is NOT because they are bad, in Spain it is based on what the hotel/hostels have and DON'T have. So what they don't have is a front reception. Listen closely if you are going to go here. Once you get on the street, you will need to buzz into the door as if you are requesting to go to someone's apartment. OR they will give you a code before hand. Once you go in, you need to go straight till you can anymore. Make a left and find the elevator. There you will need to press the

L'hotel è facilmente raggiungibile in auto, ma anche con i mezzi. È provvisto di un parcheggio interrato, a pagamento. Come in tutti gli hotel NH l'accoglienza è sempre ottima come anche le camere, grandi il giusto, pulite e con tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Colazione abbondante e buona, potendo scegliere tra dolce e salato.
