Deberían especificar que No existe parking como tal del hotel, sino que simplemente te reembolsan el 10% del parking de pago más próximo. Y habría estado bien poder tener aire acondicionado a 30 y pico grados, y no sólo que te ofrezcan calefacción.

The first time I entered the room it smelled as if it has just been cleaned. Well - that smell of cleanliness was there all the 5 days I spent there. Apart from being so clean, the hotel is in a great location in the historic town of Bilbao - close to tram, the underground, the bus... However, I preferred walking. The staff are great, helpful and relaxed, their English is great. So, if you need reasonably priced accommodation in Bilbao, this is a hotel to book. And yes there is a room which serves as both a dining room and a living room - if you want to prepare your own breakfast - there is a microwave, fridge, the cutlery and plates which you can use. And there is a vending machine. Great!!!

We thoroughly have enjoyed our stay at the Casual Gurea. Prior to arriving, our questions were answered timely through the booking app and with hospitality. We arrived late in the evening on a Thursday and met by Patricia , an absolute gem of a host. She spent 15 minutes walking us through a map and telling us about “her city”. After that, we were ready for dinner and she told us just the right place within a block of the hostel. We are grateful for having found this wonderful place and recommend it to all for a local stay in Old Town.

Bilbao was my first stop on a 5 day holiday to Spain, and was probably the place I was looking forward to visiting the most. Kind of a odd city to negative, but after asking around to people who had visited before, decided to base myself in the old town, and found Casual Bilbao Gurea to my liking. My taxi dropped me off at the front of the theater, as I had to walk the last few minutes of my journey. Best to have Google maps out, as there is no big sign post of the hotel, and after walking around, I noticed out the corner of my eye a small sign on the side of a door. One through this door you have to walk right to the back behind the stairs and get the lift up to the floor where the hotel is. Nice enough place, and I was check in to my room in no time. Simple, but main thing is that it was clean. Staff are extremely helpful, and was most satisfied with my stay. If back in Bilbao again, I would most certainly consider staying here again.

Great central location in Bilbao’s Old Town. So many fun cafes and bars, right at your fingertips. Very thankful to have a nearby Orange store to help with SIM card issues, as well as a tech store with a replacement Apple Watch charger cord. Stocked up at the decathlon store for Camino items. Staff was friendly and room was clean! Tip: there is a very popular bar outside the window of 305; bring earplugs and run the fan that is provided.

So this review is very mixed…..the location, customer service levels and bed comfort were all exemplary but the hotel was SO incredibly noisy. I do understand some of this cannot be controlled but we heard everything - every passing resident, creaking floorboard, shower, our sleep wasn’t great for any of the three days we were there and that’s the only reason this review is so low as we value a good nights sleep.

What made Casual Gurea great was the staff - they could not be more friendly and were really helpful. They genuinely wanted to make your stay in Bilbao great. The room was very big - plenty of room as was the bathroom. The property was very secure with each person getting their own code for the front door, entry door and to your room. Very clean. Really comfortable and very quiet. Great location - walking distance to everything.

In one of the main streets in the old district, on the 3d floor of a large building. Helpful lady in the reception. Gave me a large suite with 4 beds. I only need one. Bathroom is ok, it took a very long time before the warm water arrived. Bed was fine. No breakfast, had a coffee and croissant just around the corner.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very decent, clean and cheap. They have a small communal area with cheap drinks and some seating. We had a great time there and would recommend the place unreservedly. The staff even allowed us to leave our bags after checkout for a few hours of unencumbered extra exploring and eating!

This is definitely a budget hotel - one small bar of soap, no tissues, no fridge or room make-up service in the four days we stayed - but rooms and bathrooms are clean, and the people at the front desk are helpful. We got a larger room with a balcony which was nice since we were able to open windows. Some street noise due to a very active street below lined with bars, restaurants etc. Nice self-service laundry nearby. Bring ear plugs. Can’t beat the location.

The hotel itself is located in a great part of the Casco Viejo. Once you get oriented, which is not necessarily easy, you are in a great position to enjoy Bilbao. Everything you have heard about the wonderful pintxos in Casco Viejo is true; the hard part is that you can't eat everything. Walking is possible to many places, and the subways are easy to deal with, especially if you ask at the information window for help. Bilboans seemed incredibly helpful and kind everywhere I went in the city. The hotel's reception desk was also helpful and solicitous; I very much appreciated their willingness to answer my questions and help with directions. The problem was that it wasn't quite what I'd expected. My room was OK, but small. It did not resemble the photo very much. The bidet was in a community bathroom; my private bathroom did not have one. Definitely not deal-breakers, but a little disappointing. Overall a good enough place to be, and they certainly were busy, but not special.
