Súper limpio, pero el suelo del pasillo cruje mucho. Si tienes el sueño ligero y te tocan vecinos nocturnos, no es tu mejor opción. La cama es muy cómoda y las duchas y baños comunes muy muy limpios. El desayuno, normalito.

We stayed at Hestkaer Family Rooms in June 2023 for 3 nights. English Family of 4, kids aged 6 & 12. We chose to stay in one of the school themed apartment rooms with a private bathroom and kitchenette. This was the first flight abroad due to Covid etc for our 6 year old and first time any of us had been to Denmark. The flight is only 1hr 25mins from UK. We booked just the week before, direct flights with Ryanair & booked the accommodation direct with Hestkaer Family Rooms for the best price. What a surprisingly good success! Hestkaer Family Rooms is great for families with children. The owner Christian is a great guy, friendly and helpful. Our flight was delayed so we arrived late but a short taxi ride to the accommodation with no problems. First day we explored the many inclusive facilities at Hestkaer Family Rooms. Trampolines, crazy golf, badminton, kids go carts, skateboards, climbing frames, kids zip wire, animals -rabbits goats pigs, Lego, games room with pool table, air hockey table, darts, Nintendo & PlayStation games & kids even watched the annoying YouTube nonsense that they like on TV etc etc etc there is loads of things to choose from. We bought supplies for breakfast and lunches from the local supermarket which is 15min walk. The bus stop is also nearby to the supermarket. We travelled by bus (easy, clean & cheap) throughout the rest of our stay. (just check timetable ahead) We ate out for tea in Grinstead which was a short bus ride. away. Then back to relax and enjoy the facilities again at Hestkaer Family Rooms. Day two we visited Legoland (brilliant & not crowded), took a packed lunch with us that we'd made up at the family rooms. We stopped off again in the town of Grinstead for pizzas for tea then bus again back to Hestkaer Family Rooms. Day three, checkout at 11am, paid Christian for the bedding and towels and then we enjoyed the facilities again at Hestkaer Family Rooms for the rest of our last day. We used the communal kitchen and dining room on this last day as we were welcome to stay until we left by bus for the airport for a late flight home. Hestkaer Family Rooms is an informal, relaxed hostel which felt safe for our kids to explore and we could easily find them when we were ready to go out. We played pool, air hockey and relaxed with a glass of wine (just remember to buy it from the supermarket) while the kids enjoyed everything. Hestkaer Family Rooms is not a hotel with fluffy bathrobes and chocolate on the pillow but it is an old school that's now being used for families as a great base whilst visiting Denmark. Denmark was lovely and clean and we only met nice people. We recommend Hestkaer Family Rooms and would love to return and explore more of Denmark. perfect stay for 1-2 nights When going to Legoland and other nice places for kids in the area. The room had a great shower with hot water. Breakfast was yummy although i missed some salad. Will recommend and come back again When possible.

Chose it for location as it is closest to our destination in the city. It was rather expensive compared to other hotels. the Breakfast was ok. What we didnt like was that the rooms did not contain a fridge. In our view the pricetag would have been fine and justified if the was a fridge and a little free minibar. just makes a stay that much more enjoyable and convenient.

I was utilising Vejle as a base to visit Christianfeld and Jelling and using this hotel for a one night stay. The hotel proved to be great value and I was impressed. My sleep quality was great (very quiet, comfy bed) and it is two minutes walk from the Trafficcenter, allowing a quick exit. The room was a decent size and although minimalist still had coffee making facilities. The breakfast might do with a little improvement but overall I was very happy with my stay.

Hotelzimmer sind okay und das Hotel ist gut gelegen an der Hafenfront. Die Erfahrungen mit dem Personal am Check-In war aber so miserabel, dass ich aufgrund dessen leider nur einen Stern geben kann. Ich hatte nach meiner Buchung das Hotel schriftlich kontaktiert bezüglich eines Zimmers mit Doppelbett sowie einem Babybett. Beides wurde sofort bestätigt und uns zugesichert. Vor Ort habe ich am Computer einen self check-in durchgeführt und auch dort war ein Vermerk bezüglich Babybett vorhanden. Das Zimmer hatte aber dann nur zwei getrennte Einzelbetten und es stand auch kein Babybett bereit. Daraufhin habe ich die Rezeption kontaktiert und mir wurde gesagt, dass ich die Betten zusammenschieben soll. Das wäre dann auch das Doppelbett, was man mir zugesichert hatte. Das war für uns mit Baby, das mal nachts zwischen uns liegt, eine unmögliche Option. Alternativ ein Zimmerupgrade für knapp 400 DKK mit „richtigem“ Doppelbett. Und das Babybett sollte ich dann mit 100 DKK extra pro Nacht bezahlen, „sofern überhaupt noch eins verfügbar“ sei. Dass mir alles vorher schriftlich zugesichert worden ist und ich keinen Hinweis auf Zusatzgebühren hatte, wurde komplett ignoriert. Statt einer Entschuldigung wurde ich extrem unfreundlich behandelt und ich musste dann das Babybett extra bezahlen. Auch eine anschließende Beschwerde an die Hotelleitung wurde komplett ignoriert und wieder von der gleichen Rezeptionistin (Metteliiva) beantwortet. Ich habe noch nie so eine schreckliche Servicerfahrung machen müssen und kann das Hotel daher niemandem weiterempfehlen. Man zahlt am Ende deutlich mehr als man im Vorfeld kommuniziert bekommt. Andere Hotels in Dänemark waren da um Längen besser und freundlicher
