I had a confirmed reservation through **********. Hard to find as it's an ordinary house on an ordinary housing estate. Including the word Manor in its name is laughable. No sign outside of any sort or on the locked front door. I rang the doorbell on arrival at 20.30 and a gentleman arrived, who casually told me that they were fully booked. He couldn't check anything as apparently the owner was in hospital. I could find any alternative accommodation at an acceptable price. Fortunately I only live just over an hour away, so was able to go home, but had then the inconvenience of a 05.30 start to ensure that I was on time at my event the following morning.
