Rest and Welcome

Our go to place when in Blackpool. Alison and John can honestly do no more for you. Room clean, breakfast for us was just enough for us. Bar is well stocked and plentyfull and at a reasonable price. Will definitely stay here again and looking forward to our next visit 💚

Had a weekend in Blackpool and stopped here before so decided to stop again Brilliant weekend staff can’t do enough for you very comfortable beds well stocked bar and a fantastic atmosphere what’s not to like thanks Alison and John see you next time xxx

A warm welcome on check in. Nice room with everything required and a very comfortable bed and pillows. Perfectly placed for all my holiday needs. I can't comment on breakfast as I was too comfy to get up on time for it! I will definitely use Rest and Welcome on my next visit.

Alison & John are perfect hosts. We are always made very welcome either for drinks or an over night stay. This hotel lives up to its name - always a warm welcome and a restful stay. Rooms are comfortable and always spotlessly clean. Breakfast is good continental with a choice of eggs Alison’s poached eggs are lovely and always perfectly cooked.

This is a great B&B situated so close to the train station and to all the attractions! The room was super clean and had a nice ensuite shower and bathroom, good selection of teas, coffees and biscuits. On arrival Alison the landlady welcomed me and the check in was no problem. There was a bar downstairs and a small dining area to the rear the bar and dining room were spotless too! Upon realising I was away for my birthday Alison even brought me a drink from the bar! And told me some good places to visit as she knew I was on a budget. After the first night I went downstairs to the dining room for my breakfast. It was a continental breakfast with a very good selection of fruit, cereals, yoghurt and pastries. There is no full English but Alison does offer cooked eggs (your preference) on toast. I opted for poached eggs and they came cooked to perfection! Along with a nice pot of coffee. On the second day once again a great breakfast. Checkout is at 10am I was a bit worried as I planned to see the attractions and I didnt want to wheel my case around blackpool. Alison happily stored them for me waiting for my return. Once back I was greeted once again and I met Alisons friend Ray who was also staying what a top bloke! We had a laugh and even Ray bought me a drink for my birthday! This place makes you feel so welcome and as Alison and Ray say they strive to make it a home from home. It's a shame I didn't meet Alisons Husband John as he was away, but I am absolutely positive he would have same friendly demeanor as Alison! I highly recommend this place to stay and it warrants a massive 5 🌟 from me! I will definitely be returning! Thanks Alison keep up the good work your smashing it!

Really nice place to stay , both clean and comfortable. Alison the hostess was very nice and friendly and met some other nice guests staying there in the hotel bar. We will definitely return to this hotel. Thanks Alison , Andy @ James. P.s Saint Anne’s Old links is a must if you’re playing golf ⛳️
