Tiga laluan LRT utama
Di Kuala Lumpur, terdapat tiga laluan LRT utama yang dioperasikan oleh Rapid KL - Laluan Ampang, Laluan Sri Petaling, dan Laluan Kelana Jaya.
Laluan LRT Ampang (No. 3 - Laluan jingga dalam peta)
- Laluan ini memulakan operasi pada 16 Disember 1996 dan mula-mula dikenali sebagai STAR (Sistem Transit Aliran Ringan). Laluan ini mempunyai 18 stesen dan meliputi jarak 27 km. Ia bermula dari Stesen LRT Ampang di Selangor dan berakhir di Stesen LRT Sentul Timur di Kuala Lumpur. Laluan ini juga melalui beberapa lokasi utama seperti Pudu, Hang Tuah, dan Masjid Jamek.
Laluan LRT Sri Petaling (No. 4 - Laluan merah marun dalam peta)
- Laluan ini juga sebahagian daripada rangkaian asal STAR dan membentang dari Stesen LRT Sentul Timur ke Stesen LRT Putra Heights. Laluan ini mempunyai 29 stesen dan meliputi jarak 43 km. Laluan ini melalui beberapa lokasi penting seperti Bandaraya, Plaza Rakyat, dan Pudu.
Laluan LRT Kelana Jaya (No. 5 - Laluan merah dalam peta)
- Dibuka pada 1 September 1998, Laluan LRT Kelana Jaya ialah laluan LRT kedua di Kuala Lumpur dan ia adalah laluan LRT pertama di Malaysia yang menggunakan teknologi tanpa pemandu. Laluan ini bermula dari Stesen LRT Gombak dan berakhir di Stesen LRT Putra Heights. Ia memiliki 37 stesen dan meliputi jarak 46.4 km. Laluan ini melalui beberapa lokasi utama di Kuala Lumpur, termasuk KLCC, KL Sentral, dan Pasar Seni.
Menggunakan LRT Rapid KL untuk bergerak sekitar Kuala Lumpur dan kawasan sekitarnya adalah cara yang cepat, berkesan dan mesra alam. LRT Rapid KL menawarkan pelbagai pilihan tiket dan pas, yang sesuai untuk kegunaan harian, mingguan, atau bulanan yang boleh dibeli di Pejabat Perkhidmatan Pelanggan Rapid KL di semua stesen LRT, MRT, Monorel dan BRT:

- Token ini digunakan untuk perjalanan pada RapidKL LRT, Monorel, BRT dan MRT dan sah untuk satu perjalanan tertentu pada hari pembelian.

Etika Semasa Menunggang LRT
Menaiki LRT bukan sahaja tentang mencapai destinasi anda, tetapi juga tentang berinteraksi dengan penumpang lain dengan hormat dan sopan santun. Berikut adalah beberapa etika asas yang perlu diingat semasa menaiki LRT:
- Berdiri di sebelah kanan, berjalan di sebelah kiri

I stayed here with my daughter, and we both had a wonderful time. The hotel has a relaxing and elegant feel, while still being convenient for exploring Kuala Lumpur. Sometimes you see recommendations on TikTok and wonder if the place is really worth it — in this case, it definitely was!

A beautiful hotel but a mediocre experience. Maybe the hotel could consider changing the ceiling light bulbs in the room to brighter ones and there are not enough of them. The TV was malfunction but I did not make any report because I only stayed for one night. However, shouldn't the responsible party check the TV first before ”opening” the room to guests? The air conditioner also took a very, very long time to cool even though it was set to the lowest temperature from the moment I got into the room. The shower water on the other hand, I had to wait a long time to get hot even though it was turned to the left (for hot water). However, the breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. The hotel was nice, but I did have issues with the bathroom door door, not lock. I came and fixed the lock which was loose but still wasn’t looking. It wasn’t the door and the frame wasn’t attached door. There’s something should be checked before checking in. Also, I found a sofa dirty clean it. The rate of pay for the hotel should reduce when this swimming pool was not accessible, but was OK for me to use Next Door as some of the gym equipment wasn’t working. This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Kuala Lumpur. It's super convenient to get to KLCC via the covered walkways, so you're protected from the elements. This time, I booked for three consecutive nights, but unfortunately, my plans changed last minute for the final night, and I had to go elsewhere. I tried negotiating with the hotel multiple times to see if they could offer a free cancellation or at least a discount for the last night to minimize my loss, but they refused every time. It would be great if they showed a bit more flexibility in the future. Ctrip, on the other hand, was quite helpful; they gave me some points as a partial subsidy, which was a nice gesture. The check-in experience was very good. Someone came to help push the luggage when I got of the bus. Although you can't check in early if you arrive early, you can also check in your luggage for free. The area surrounding hotel is teeming with a diverse array of food stores, local eateries and cozy restaurants, offering an extensive selection of delicious cuisines to suit all tastes, you’ll find plenty of wonderful dining options just a short walk away.
Overall my stay at Pacific Express Hotel Central Market was perfect.(except the water heater is not function well, water flow hot for a while then cold again rm8521), other than that the room is spacious, with small refrigerator, nothing to compare with such nice room and reasonable price.
The unrivaled location, convenient dining choices combine to create a truly wonderful living experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur, and I will definitely choose to stay here again.

It takes about an hour to get from the airport to the hotel, so make sure to factor that into your airport check-in plans. For domestic flights within Malaysia, allow at least an hour to get to the airport, and it's best to have your boarding pass ready beforehand. If you're flying internationally, you should really set aside 2-3 hours. The South and North hotels are very close, so don't panic if you accidentally get the wrong one on your GPS. The hotel's service is excellent; if you fly to another destination and then return, they'll store your luggage for free, which helps save on baggage fees.
The cleanliness in the rooms could be improved. For example, there were small spots on the bedsheets, and the phone and its cord clearly hadn't been wiped down. In the first room, the sink was broken, but after moving to a different room, everything was fine. It's good value for money and perfectly acceptable for guests who aren't super picky. The breakfast was decent, and there was a discount for booking it with your stay; adding it on the next day costs an extra 10 RM. There aren't many breakfast options nearby, so I think it's worth getting the hotel breakfast if you're too lazy to taxi out to find food. The hotel is close to various attractions, and taxis are readily available and can drop you off right at the front desk.
The one recurring annoyance for me was the elevator. The elevator logic is flawed, and I often had to wait a very long time. I suggest they review and fix the elevator system. Sometimes, it wouldn't even stop on my floor even if it was on its way (a 'convenient' stop). The elevators don't seem to be linked, which really detracts from the experience. The hotel is really old and definitely needs renovation. A lot of the facilities look dated and the overall condition could be much better. There was also a strong mould smell along the corridor, which was quite unpleasant.
The hotel lift is also freaking slow and there was a long queue, especially during busy hours. This can be quite frustrating when you are in a hurry.
The buffet breakfast was also a bit disappointing. There were not many choices available and the food was just so-so. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of the variety and quality of the breakfast.
The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location. It is superb and very near to Bukit Bintang, with plenty of shops, restaurants and places to visit nearby.

The location is absolutely fantastic!
It's close to the station and a shopping mall, so access is great. The Petronas Twin Towers were also within walking distance.
No issues with water pressure in the shower! It had a showerhead with multiple settings, including a rain shower.
The hairdryer had good power too!
There wasn't a large trash can next to the toilet, so I assumed it was okay to flush directly.
I personally didn't mind at all, but you could hear voices and sounds from the next room, so those who are sensitive to noise should be aware.
It was convenient that I could watch YouTube on the TV in the room.
There were many power outlets, but they were type BF, so if you're from a different region, don't forget your adapter!
There were also two USB ports.
It's a hotel I'd love to stay at again if I come back to Malaysia! 😊

The room was quite clean. They didn't provide complimentary bottled water, but the mini-bar had free drinks and chocolates 🍫. There's a pretty big difference in price between weekdays and weekends. There are many malls and restaurants nearby, and the service was good.DariRM216

Oh my goodness! We went straight to the hotel after landing in Kuala Lumpur. We arrived four hours before the 3 PM check-in time, but the hotel welcomed us in the lobby right away. The bellboy was so cute and strong, which really made us feel warm and welcomed upon our arrival. When we got to the 53rd floor, the front desk found two Chinese-speaking staff members to assist us, and they were even a supervisor and a subordinate! It was truly touching. They helped us store our luggage, showed us to the restrooms, and let us choose an aromatherapy scent while offering iced tea and snacks. The whole process was polite, thoughtful, and gentle.
When we checked into our room in the afternoon, we couldn't have been happier. It had a bathtub, double sinks, a smart toilet, a king-sized bed, a large sofa, and a spacious shower. In the afternoon, someone even came to turn down the bed and light an aromatherapy diffuser. The breakfast was incredibly exquisite – a combination of buffet and à la carte! Absolutely delicious! The hotel's location is superb, connected to Pavilion via a skybridge, so we didn't have to worry about sun or rain when going in and out. It truly maximized our sense of happiness and relaxation during the trip! Most importantly, we had an unobstructed view of the Petronas Twin Towers and all of Kuala Lumpur. Nice Room with a Lovely KL Tower View
I had a pleasant stay at Flora by Crossroads Hotel. I stayed on the first floor in a room facing the main road, with a lovely view of KL Tower. The room itself was comfortable and suitable for a short stay.
The hot shower worked well and was one of the things I enjoyed during my stay. The bathroom could use a little more attention in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. There were some visible stains on the walls and floor, the basin was draining slowly, and the toilet had a minor leakage issue.
Just a small reminder for the housekeeping team to remember to replace the complimentary drinking water for the next guest, as it may have simply been overlooked during room preparation.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and especially the KL Tower view. With a little more attention to bathroom cleanliness, maintenance and room preparation, the overall guest experience could be even better.DariRM68

I wouldn't recommend staying here if you don't speak English. Communication was a nightmare, and the front desk staff weren't very clear. Basically, the language barrier combined with an unaccommodating front desk made everything difficult. The location isn't great either; you need a taxi to get anywhere, and walking takes about half an hour. The room itself was just okay. I was swayed by good reviews saying the front desk had friendly female staff and that early check-in was possible for a fee. But when I got there, it was all male staff at the front desk. I had to wait for a room immediately, and paying extra for early check-in wasn't even an option. I arrived in the early morning and couldn't check in until 1:30 PM. Also, I saw that breakfast was included when I booked, but when I asked, they said it would cost 17 MYR. For 230 a night, it's really not worth it. I might as well have stayed at a hostel in Chinatown or a hotel with a pool for better photo opportunities. I just wanted my own room, but it ended up being a lot of hassle, very tiring, and I didn't get good rest. I don't recommend it; it was quite a miserable stay.DariRM96

Indie Hotel is tucked away in a quiet corner of Bukit Ceylon, making it a great escape from the busy city while still being close to everything. The location is honestly one of its strongest points — just a short distance from KL Tower, about 10 minutes from Bukit Bintang MRT, and only a few minutes’ walk to Jalan Alor, which is basically street food heaven in KL
.
The room itself is clean, cozy, and very comfortable. What really stood out to me was the bed — the pillows and mattress were incredibly soft, easily among the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel. Everything worked well too: strong hot shower, cold air conditioning, and free WiFi provided.
There’s also a mini mart right below the hotel, which is super convenient if you don’t feel like heading out for food or essentials.
Overall, this is a great choice for an affordable staycation — especially if you’re looking for a quiet environment without sacrificing comfort or location.DariRM162
