Tiga laluan LRT utama
Di Kuala Lumpur, terdapat tiga laluan LRT utama yang dioperasikan oleh Rapid KL - Laluan Ampang, Laluan Sri Petaling, dan Laluan Kelana Jaya.
- Laluan LRT Ampang (No. 3 - Laluan jingga dalam peta)
- Laluan ini memulakan operasi pada 16 Disember 1996 dan mula-mula dikenali sebagai STAR (Sistem Transit Aliran Ringan). Laluan ini mempunyai 18 stesen dan meliputi jarak 27 km. Ia bermula dari Stesen LRT Ampang di Selangor dan berakhir di Stesen LRT Sentul Timur di Kuala Lumpur. Laluan ini juga melalui beberapa lokasi utama seperti Pudu, Hang Tuah, dan Masjid Jamek.
- Laluan LRT Sri Petaling (No. 4 - Laluan merah marun dalam peta)
- Laluan ini juga sebahagian daripada rangkaian asal STAR dan membentang dari Stesen LRT Sentul Timur ke Stesen LRT Putra Heights. Laluan ini mempunyai 29 stesen dan meliputi jarak 43 km. Laluan ini melalui beberapa lokasi penting seperti Bandaraya, Plaza Rakyat, dan Pudu.
- Laluan LRT Kelana Jaya (No. 5 - Laluan merah dalam peta)
- Dibuka pada 1 September 1998, Laluan LRT Kelana Jaya ialah laluan LRT kedua di Kuala Lumpur dan ia adalah laluan LRT pertama di Malaysia yang menggunakan teknologi tanpa pemandu. Laluan ini bermula dari Stesen LRT Gombak dan berakhir di Stesen LRT Putra Heights. Ia memiliki 37 stesen dan meliputi jarak 46.4 km. Laluan ini melalui beberapa lokasi utama di Kuala Lumpur, termasuk KLCC, KL Sentral, dan Pasar Seni.
Menggunakan LRT Rapid KL untuk bergerak sekitar Kuala Lumpur dan kawasan sekitarnya adalah cara yang cepat, berkesan dan mesra alam. Stesen-stesen laluan LRT dibuka untuk penumpang dari jam 6 pagi setiap hari, dari hari Isnin hingga Ahad. Pada hari-hari tertentu, beberapa stesen mungkin buka lebih awal. Waktu penutupan stesen berbeza-beza bergantung kepada lokasi.
Perubahan dalam laluan, penutupan stesen, atau perkara lain yang berkaitan dengan perubahan laluan LRT mungkin berlaku. LRT Rapid KL menawarkan pelbagai pilihan tiket dan pas, yang sesuai untuk kegunaan harian, mingguan, atau bulanan yang boleh dibeli di Pejabat Perkhidmatan Pelanggan Rapid KL di semua stesen LRT, MRT, Monorel dan BRT:
- Token Perjalanan Tunggal
- Token ini digunakan untuk perjalanan pada RapidKL LRT, Monorel, BRT dan MRT dan sah untuk satu perjalanan tertentu pada hari pembelian.
- Pas MyCity
- Pas ini menawarkan perjalanan tanpa pada rangkaian LRT, MRT, Monorel, dan BRT Rapid KL selama 1 atau 3 hari. Harga pembelian pertama kali untuk Pas MyCity 1 Hari adalah RM15, manakala untuk Pas MyCity 3 Hari adalah RM25.
- Pas My50
- Pas ini menawarkan perjalanan tanpa had selama 30 hari pada rangkaian LRT, MRT, Monorel, BRT, bas Rapid KL dan bas MRT feeder di Lembah Klang.

Etika Semasa Menunggang LRT
Menunggang LRT bukan sahaja tentang mencapai destinasi anda, tetapi juga tentang berinteraksi dengan penumpang lain dengan hormat dan sopan santun. Berikut adalah beberapa etika asas yang perlu diingat semasa menaiki LRT:
- Berdiri di sebelah kanan, berjalan di sebelah kiri
- Di eskalator, berdiri di sebelah kanan dan biarkan mereka yang ingin berjalan pantas mengunakan laluan sebelah kiri. Ini membantu aliran penumpang yang lancar dan menghormati mereka yang tergesa-gesa.
- Biarkan penumpang keluar dahulu
- Sebelum menaiki kereta api, beri laluan kepada penumpang yang ingin keluar. Ini bukan sahaja adalah adab tetapi juga memudahkan aliran penumpang.
- Hormati ruang peribadi orang lain
- Elak daripada memasuki ruang peribadi orang lain, terutamanya semasa waktu puncak. Jika perlu, letakkan beg di atas pangkuan atau di lantai di antara kaki anda.
- Berikan tempat duduk kepada mereka yang memerlukannya
- Berikan tempat duduk kepada penumpang yang lebih tua, ibu hamil, atau mereka yang memerlukan bantuan. Ini menunjukkan rasa hormat dan kesantunan anda.
- Kurangkan bunyi kuat
- Elakkan berbual dengan suara yang kuat atau mendengar muzik tanpa fon telinga. Hormatilah hak penumpang lain untuk menikmati perjalanan yang tenang.
- Jangan makan atau minum di atas kereta api

Our staycation here is nothing short of excellent. The room has a good scent when we first entered, and we loved the wooden vibe the hotel room has. The room is very comfortable and had a good nights rest. There is a filtered water tap in the bathroom, which eases our needs for drinking water.
Me and my partner felt that we should have booked an additional night to enjoy the room more.
As I booked this hotel for a new years eve stay, the room we had windows facing TRX, allowing us to see the new years fireworks from the comfort of the hotel room.
Although variety of the breakfast buffet is not one of the best I've had among luxury hotels, but it has great taste and does fulfill your needs for a hearty breakfast.

This was my second time staying at Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur. For this stay, I made a special request for birthday amenities, and the hotel kindly approved my request without any additional charge. When I entered the room, there were balloon decorations and a chocolate cake, along with a birthday greeting on a card. I truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture.
The room was comfortable. Unfortunately, this time I did not get a Twin Towers view, even though I booked a Deluxe room.
One of the things I really like about this hotel is its location. You can simply go downstairs to access Sunway Putra Mall, making it very easy to find food and shop for daily necessities. From the mall, you can also directly access the PWTC LRT station, which is very convenient for getting around the city.
Breakfast was the only part I liked less. It was extremely crowded, food options ran out quickly, and refills took quite a while. The taste of the food was still decent, as expected. Fortunately, staff assisted guests with seating, so even when it was crowded, I was still able to get a table without too much confusion.
Overall, it was a good experience. A five-star hotel at an affordable price, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Kuala Lumpur.DariMYR 216

The room was very clean and comfortable, and it's super close to Chow Kit station. Plus, there are tons of food stalls right around the corner from the hotel at night. I also walked from Lucky Cafe to the hotel, and along the way, you naturally stumble upon a lot of photo ops and places to eat. Big thanks to the hotel staff. I love the location. Less than five minutes walk to Sg Wang, Lot10, Star Hills. Around 10 minutes walk to Pavilion/TRX. So convenient. Smack in the middle of Bukit Bintang Area.
The room is spacious, very comfortable and equipped with iron and hair dryer. Conmplete with toiletteries and coffee tea. Hotel staff is very warm, attentive and helpful. Special mention to the housekeeping staff, Farhad for cleaning our room nicely.
Breakfast buffer has a good selection and ample seating. The vibe is chill and relaxing, so nice for our stay in KL.

Located conveniently by the NRT and LRT station (red and blue line) its a 3 min walk right to the hotel.
Also within walking distance is Chinatown where you can find loads of good food, cafe, interesting shops, bars and of course the Central Market.
The hotel has seen better days and the rooms are functional. The lobby felt friendly and staff were really friendly and nice.
What I liked about the hotel is that it promotes eco-friendliness by only changing the sheets and towels every two days, which makes total sense especially for short stays.
The ambiance of the room felt empty and not really welcoming. Maybe due to the hard flooring which didn’t give it a sense of softness. Amenities are pretty basic (shampoo, shower gel and disposable toothbrush) The bath towels provided although clean, were very old and fraying. No face towels.
The bed is a little too soft for my liking but comfortable enough.
The air conditioning in the room was super cold no matter what temperature I turned it to. At one point I had turned it to 28 degrees and it was still really cold. I could only adjust the airflow to Low which didn’t help.
The safe also wasn’t working (probably not plugged in but I couldn’t find the switch or anything)
Overall, a good place to stay if you are just looking for something functional because the location is really convenient and surround areas are great.DariMYR 155

Facing a troublesome using hotel room WiFi, after CS contacted me in the WS and she gave me a invite code which helps me easier on using the WiFi.
Secondly, there is a must to use their valet parking service during the stay in the hotel, cause they have no parking lot in the hotel, which we feel not comfortable with. One of the valet (Indian guy) has hygiene issue, after his drive to the hotel for me and I felt itchiness all over my body. That’s disgusting! The room I got at the first place the AC is a bit noisy and I got changed room to a higher floor, which is much brighter which I appreciate to. With the shower problem (shower hose broken) got solved after twice of my complaint to the front desk and WS CS.

Pros:
Comfort: Very soft mattress, effective blackout curtains, and a comfortable work chair.
Amenities: The room is well-equipped with an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. I really appreciated the water purifier and capsule coffee machine.
Service & Hygiene kits: Polite staff, good room service. High-quality toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, razor).
Cons:
Hygiene: This was the biggest disappointment. There were feces smeared on the wall right next to the toilet. This is absolutely unacceptable; housekeeping clearly failed here.
Internet: This is the first hotel in KL that disappointed me with the internet. Speeds were low: 10–25 Mbps in public areas and only 5–15 Mbps inside the room.
Noise: Very poor soundproofing. You can hear everything from the corridor, especially loud door slamming.

nothing special about the hotel. room is decently clean but there are several stains on the floor and sofa. no toothbrush and toothpaste so i have to buy nearby 7-11. breakfast spread limited. but that is minor. but the view sunrise from my room is nice.
one that annoyed me is that the window is not sound proof. at night, you can hear vehicles zooming, especially the motorcycle mat-rempit till way late night like 2-3am. how to sleep? the staff said that the room is non-smoking but on the first day went to my room, the smell of smoke cigarette is all over the walkway! will not stay here again.DariMYR 135

Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur – A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of the City
The hotel is beautifully located in the Golden Triangle, just across from Pavilion KL, with stunning views of the Petronas Twin Towers. It’s slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Bukit Bintang, yet still close enough for easy access — a perfect balance between convenience and tranquility.
Upon check-in, guests are offered a selection of incense and essential oils for their room — a lovely and thoughtful personal touch. We stayed in the Signature Banyan Retreat, which was cozy, comfortable, and came with all the amenities you’d expect, plus a beautiful view of KL’s night skyline.
We did encounter a minor issue on our first night when the room’s light switches stopped working, including the master switch. The maintenance engineer arrived promptly, even though it was close to midnight, and quickly resolved the issue with a system reset. Really appreciate how efficient and polite he was!
We also dined at Torito, the hotel’s Peruvian-Japanese restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The ceviche clásico is a must-try — so refreshing and full of flavor. The lomo saltado featured perfectly cooked medium-rare beef tenderloin, and the stone ceviche, a warm twist on the classic, was equally impressive. Unfortunately, we were too full to try dessert, but the attentive service made the meal memorable.
Special thanks to Izat (Front Desk), Hakim (Breakfast), and all the other staff members whose names we didn’t catch, for their warmth, patience, and genuine hospitality. Their friendly smiles and willingness to help made our stay at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur truly enjoyable.DariMYR 1,139

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the area, and I absolutely love it! The convenience of having a parking space right next to the hotel for just RM12 per day is fantastic. The only minor downside was a slightly musty smell in the room, but it was manageable. The shower pressure could be a bit stronger, but everything else was quite convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again, especially since my dad really values convenient parking!
Please note that the ironing facilities are shared, and the iron may not get very hot. Additionally, the toiletries provided are quite basic, so remember to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush.DariMYR 71

Another satisfying night at MoMo's. Great location mear Monorail covered walkway.. Grab or Bolt drop off/pickup at approved delivery area for Hotel chow kit next door on Jalan sultan ismail.

Location is quite okay. However, the room is not as per advertised. My room located at the end of the hallway and the view in front of my room was ugly andnot very nice, all these rocks and grounds. There were mosquitos in the room. Room carpet dirty with lots of hair. Toilet biddet is not working. Asking the staff to fix or change to the other room. But its not fixed and they not changing me to other room because they said the small room are not available. However, i can see many rooms are still empty.
