The Moray House

Stayed in the Moray House hotel for 2 nights and paid extra for hot breakfast. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. No car parking outside, however, free on street parking in the adjacent road or for £8pn within a 5 minute walk. Location is great just a 30second walk to Wetherspoons pub, ******, South Pier, Pleasure Beach & Sandcastles water park. Would definately stay here again when returning to Blackpool.

Stayed for a tues/wed 2 nights early season with the father who was also staying at this hotel. I had room 5 with was a very comfy bed also had a good electric heater on the wall very warm if you need it. Room looked basic but tidy with tea/coffee inc (NO WARDROBE) so nowhere to hang items. Ensuite Bathroom was small and basic. Hotel overall is a little run down and in need of modernisation but to be expected at price paid. No onsite parking but you can park in the next street/area down for free as I always do also secure car parks close by at extra cost as Withnell Road is now permit only. Now on booking sites it does state breakfast included with your booking/room BUT read the small print as its basically tea/coffee (which is in your room anyway) orange juice + supermarket brand cereals and basic toast with butter/jam. If you want anything cooked thats extra cost £5 each so just a heads up on that as it's easily missed. Not an issue for me as I'm not a massive breakfast fan coffee (kenco) was good and toast jam was ok. Overall its a basic hotel which is ok if your on a budget. Yes I would return as the bed was comfy room tidy. Hosts were also pleasant enough aswell.

What a dirty scummy loopy outdated doss hole run by two dirty fat idle pigs who rob guests for added charges like breakfast that was supposed to be included The pool table was all ripped and had human excrement on the pool table Everything you touched was greasy or tacky n filthy...... EVERYTHING Dirty dive is repulsive Run down dirty dated hovel doss hole Disgusting at every level The owners were not clean in themselves, they stank of body odour etc When we booked it said that breakfast was included in the price, however when we arrived Chris said to us that it was £5 each for a cooked breakfast. The prices at the bar was extremely expensive The antique heater didn’t work in the bedroom, kettle was dirty , mirror was dirty, hole in the wall in the bathroom, cobwebs everywhere, bedding was old stained, pillows were crap, there was horrible smells in the rooms we had, cups was dirty and the rooms looked nothing like the photos of them on b ooking.com. We are reporting these to booking dot com The dining area was cramped with tables and chairs, the chairs were dusty. Safe to say that we won’t be returning!!! Stay away at all costs

It must be me or We have too high standatds absolutely disgusting toilet seat at back dirty and floor filthy with crumbs. Had to leave early 1am as could not even lay in bed couldnt wait to leave as early as we could . My dogs would even find it hard to stay here im sorry nice people. But place a pit avoid if u want to hv a nice stay if your not fussy staying in filth you will be fine.

Myself & my Husband stayed at The Moray House for the weekend in April we were greeted by Georgina & Chris on arrival in the bar area they gave us our keys & asked if we would like Continental Breakfast (included in room price) or a full English priced at £5 per person amazing price if we didn't fancy that we could have just a Bacon or Sausage Sandwich for £3 food was lovely we ordered for each morning always toast offered & more if we wanted! The Bar of an Evening was a lovely atmosphere they have disco lights a snow machine a pool table & a separte Children's room with air hockey & a games console drinks are reasonably priced! Room was a lovely size clean & the shower was just right we were offered fresh towels & tea,coffee facilties each morning if we needed them! Nothing is too much trouble for Chris or Georgina they are lovely people & we have already booked to come back at the end of May with our Kids!

Great location of hotel. Its about a 2 minute walk from the Prom, Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark. Hotel is clean and very quiet, despite being in a popular location. Beds are very comfy which made for a great sleep. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our 2 day stay. We've booked up to come back again later in the year.

Another great stay at The Moray House. As always exceptional hosts, very clean room, brilliant location. I have no problem at all with recommending this hotel. It is brilliant, especially if you have children. There is plenty to keep them entertained. The location of the hotel is in a great location too. 5* See you soon 😊

Our stay at the Moray Hotel was excellent in every way, our room was very clean and tidy. Separate loo and shower within the room, which is unusual but good. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast and wonderful host's. Will definitely visit again when in Blackpool.
