Royal Seabank Hotel

Just returned from midweek stay at Royal Seabank, booked through Blackpool Promotions, £99 pp B&B including coach travel, incredible value. We paid a wee bit extra for a room with sea view, room was spacious, clean with tea/ coffee facilities, room cleaned every day, entertainment every night. Breakfast was good, choice of cereals and porridge full English, scrambled eggs and toast, pot of tea or coffee. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very enjoyable stay and will definitely be back.

Room comfy and clean housekeeping kept bins empty regularly and replaced towels as needed. Food excellent vegetarian food addition to menu very good , entertainment at night really good. Staff in all areas of hotel friendly and helpful will definitely be back .

I don't write many rewiews, but to be honest I've felt compelled to do so, as I think the seabank has been getting a few unjust, and unfair reviews. I am actually a head chef myself, working in a very busy hotel in my hometown of arbroath, and I'm on a rareday off. So here goes! Yes the hotel is a bit dated, yes the lift is to small, and yes there are loads of stairs. But everyone knows this before they get there, so no need to keep banging on about it. So on arrival, yes it was very busy, but also very well organised. Keys, info, and broad smiles everywhere were the first impressions we received. Next my wife wasn't happy with the situation of our room next to the air conditioning, which was promptly and efficiently sorted out. At the same time I was waiting for my new keys, at least another two customers were helped out with their own problems, nothing is to much for the hotel staff to sort out quickly and always with a smile. The entertainment was varied, something for everyone, and the food is good, we especially enjoyed the hot and cold buffet after the grand national. The rooms are bright and well furnished, and clean, and housekeeping do a great job. Special mention to the waiting staff who never stop at every single meal service. The staff make the hotel special, and the management train the staff. So the manager James must be congratulated. The seabank isn't perfect, but nothing ever is, but it does do exactly what it says on tin! So keep it up seabank, we will be back for hogmany

Didnt book the seabank we booked the boston but got a phone call saying boston closed fr that weekend AGAIN that a couple of times we have been moved not happy with that because we prefer the boston. We booked for a twin seaview room that looked like it was for a couple of kids rather than a couple you got out of bed and went up on the floor then down when you got to toilet there is no where to cupboard to put you clothes in just a clothes wrack u wood get from argos it kept fallin down the more u put on it. As for toilet not enugh room in it to wipe ur nethr region or to dry urself not value fr money wont be booking again.

I like this hotel for its location and the friendliness of the staff in all areas. The food is very good and the dining room staff couldn’t be more attentive, staff on the bar were the same. I had a Privilege room and no complaints about that. I’ve been 5 times now and will definitely be going back. It’s not perfect for some, but it is for me.

The hotel was clean and tidy room was spacious shower was nice and warm and comfortable beds . Food was delicious,Entertainment was first class and staff were very friendly and accommodating . Definitely will be back family friendly highly recommended 😀

Room nice but queues for bar and all inclusive drinks very poor unless you paid £2 for an upgrade each time.. I normally come 3 times a year to the royal hotels in Blackpool but will have to start looking elsewhere. Entertainment was okay but not what it used to be when there was a couple of different acts on. Just same act all night

Rooms were a bit small ,but clean there was 7 of us went to celebrate my 70th the staff made it very special,they put balloons and a birthday sash in my room when I was out a nice surprise .All staff were very helpful and hard working a big shout out to Calum and Connor nothing too much trouble,food good ,beds comfy,I've been 4 times now definitely go back again,we always go all inclusive good value.

Beware if you are booking this hotel as you may be put in another hotel further along the promenade. The Royal Carlton which is very run down. We booked a double room with seaview for myself and my husband for a 3 day event at The Tower Ballroom because of its proximity to the venue and because it had a coffee bar and restaurant. We were called a few days before and told it was overbooked and we would need to move hotels. We got a twin room at the back of the hotel with no sea virw or tea or coffee making facilities as advertised. Windows were broken and blinds and curtains wouldnt close. It was also further away so cost us more money travelling back and forth to The Tower. Also during our 3 day stay no towel change and when someone did come in to empty the bin they left the door open. Avoid at all costs!!
