Absolutely fabulous place to stay! 5 minute walk to the nearest tram stop. Very reasonably priced with friendly hosts. Comfy bed so a good nights sleep. Fresh, modern decor throughout. The whole place was immaculate. And the breakfast was excellent with ample choice for every taste. Next time we stay in the area we will try to book here first! Will definitely be back

This place is amazing… been here a few times now. If you want somewhere quite to rest this place for you. The b&b is fantastic with a lovely bed to sleep in nice big rooms with a lovely en-suite The couple who run this..they both have a beautiful soul and do lovely and kind they do anything for you they both very helpful they can’t do enough for you!! Breakfast in the morning is a cooked English breakfast with cereal and yogurt of your choice with toast and tea and coffee. Would definitely recommend to stay here. I would not stay anywhere else in Blackpool now. Xx

A 1 night stay in the area to see a concert. Had originally booked a hotel and am so glad I changed my mind and came here. A 6 room guest house with bedrooms on 1st and 2nd floor. Our room (6) was on the top floor located at the front of the house with views to the tower. It was a really good size with a decent shower, dressing area, sofa, king size bed, iron, hairdryer and decent sized wall-mounted TV. It was spotlessly clean. There is coded access to WiFi. Breakfast included branded individual cereal portions and bars, plus cooked breakfast which in my case was a very nice traditional English whilst GF was delighted they had eggs Benedict. Parking is on street and whilst we did not manage to get a space in the street we got one around the corner. Located at North Shore set back a few streets from the trams at Cliffs Hotel stop or (in our case) an approximate 30 minute flat walk to the North Pier. All topped off with friendly hosts. Had a really good stay and will definitely find an excuse to come back again!

Fantastic, immaculate accommodation in North Shore. Just spent three nights at Number 42 and loved it. Hosts are friendly and atentive without being overpowering. Room was immaculate throughout our stay, as was the rest of the property. Breakfast was varied and cooked to order, and always a fantastic start to the day. If you want quality in the quieter end of Blackpool, Number 42 has it in spades.

We stayed here for one night on a quick visit to family in Blackpool. We were in Room 5, which was smaller than what we usually book when staying out, but otherwise it was fantastic. Spotlessly clean with plenty of charging points, the room has been tastefully redecorated,and everything was in great order. Breakfast was very nice too, with a tasty cooked breakfast included, as well as cereals and toast. Blackpool accomodation can be a bit hit and miss at times, but this was definately a hit, and we look forward to returning again.

Our second visit of the year, another great time had. Sean and Melanie are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble. A very clean establishment and everything you could need for a brilliant stay. Freshly cooked breakfast, good choice of cereals, yoghurts etc, a good start to your day.

Just had the most wonderful four night stay at Number 42. Everything was perfect. Immaculate room, exceptional breakfast and absolutely brilliant hosts. Shaun and Mel couldn't do enough for us and took every step to make sure our stay was both comfortable and memorable. A truly great place to stay. Nice and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle with the tram stop less than a five minute walk. We would give this fabulous hotel six stars if we could and will definitely be back. X

Had a lovely two night stay at this wonderful guest house. Absolutely nipping clean, lovely big bedroom & had the best sleep ever. Just a few minutes from the sea front but nicely tucked away so it's really quiet. Breakfast was amazing, with so much attention to detail. Already planning our next stay here. Wonderful hosts who can't do enough for you. Best guest house in Blackpool!

i stayed in room 4 Great quiet location with tram stop was 2 minutes walk on the prom It took 12 mins to walk to the north Pier and enjoyed the bloom bar on Melanie’s recommendation I managed to park my car on the street which has no parking restrictions and is free There is also Gynn carpark which is council owned close by
