Blaisdon House B&B

Four uni friends staying here to reunion with a fifth living nearby. Bedrooms and breakfasts were first class, Sue and Chris always helpful without intruding, the garden a complete pleasure to relax in with sun or shade and sheltered from a moderate wind. Good choice of walks and food locally.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights on his birthday. What can I say other than this was the perfect getaway. Chris and Sue are absolutely charming and made us feel so very welcome. They went the extra mile to provide vegan food and drink for me - breakfast was exceptional. The bedroom we stayed in was perfect with a comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and it was all spotlessly clean. The gardens are fabulous and well maintained. Oh - and the hens in the garden are beautiful, not forgetting Blaise, the delightful resident terrier. We’ll definitely be back - hope we can stay longer next time.💚

Exceptional attention to detail in the room, the welcome and the wonderful breakfast. Really happy we chose to stay a couple of nights here. This place deserves five stars all around. The bed and breakfast is stunning, with spotless rooms that are meticulously maintained. The owners have thought of everything, even including a hair straightener in the bedroom. The beds are comfortable, and the owners are friendly and welcoming. They went the extra mile to make the partner's birthday special, providing the most delicious breakfast. Overall, it's a five-star property.

We had a relaxing break in Blaisdon House greeted with a warm welcome from hosts Sue & Chris stayed in room 2 which was perfect clean comfortable spacious en-suite facilities great . Breakfast was excellent and hosts made you feel welcome and nothing was to much trouble honesty bar in lounge garden with chickens great break highly recommended

Absolutely perfect. We visited for our wedding anniversary and stayed 2 nights - we had the 4 poster room, which has a lovely view. Great hosts who made us feel welcome without being in any way intrusive, little extras such as homemade cake in the room were special and the room itself was stunning. Immaculate, clean and beautiful decor. Bed was comfortable and the room has everything you could need. The decor throughout the house was gorgeous and felt very high quality, whilst still remaining comfortable and unpretentious. We were given information about local places to visit, including the pub over the road which is also well worth a visit. The breakfast was delicious and service again very friendly but not intrusive. Separate tables for breakfast which I personally much prefer to a large shared guest table. Overall, this was a really lovely stay, and we’d definitely recommend it.

Amazing hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Beautiful house and everything spotlessly clean. A real home from home atmosphere. Definitely will stay again.

We had the most wonderful stay at Blaisdon House. Chris and Sue were very warm, attentive and welcoming hosts and the accommodation was fantastic. The decor in every room was absolutely stunning and the whole house was warm and very comfortable. We were instantly made to feel at home, we even enjoyed a game of scrabble by the open fire in the drawing room. The breakfast was delicious, making the entire stay an absolute treat! Beautiful house, scrumptious breakfast and lovely hosts. With the added benefit of being conveniently placed opposite the lovely village pub. The B&B is an ideal base for countryside walks both locally and in the Forest of Dean. The historic market town of Ross-on-Wye is also only a short drive away.
