Paguro Seaview

We enjoyed our stay. The bikini beach was lovely and the water was very clear and relaxing. The food was very good and our server was very caring and attentive. We took a manta ray/sea turtle excursion and it was amazing. My 9 year old son does not know how to swim, but our guide made sure that he was comfortable and helped build his confidence. He even took pictures. I would highly recommend staying at Paguro Seaview.

I recall my vacation at Paguro Seaview in May with pleasure and nostalgia! To begin with, my stay there was filled with many pleasant surprises from the hotel. My room was upgraded from garden view to the wonderful comfortable room with sea view, there were delicious breakfasts and dinners (special thanks to the Cook!), 2 wonderful dinners as a gift from the owner of the hotel with delicious local seafoods and attentive warm communications with the staff throughout the whole stay at Paguro. The rooms at the hotel are cozy and clean, with good plumbing and strong water pressure, which is not found everywhere in the Maldives. The hotel is located on a scenic beach (It is is cleaned every day) with a beautiful lively reef. The reef was very impressive, it turned out to be even more picturesque and more inhabited than the Egyptian ones, although you can see some dead corals . Blacktip reef sharks look after you during the swimming. In the low season, it is very pleasant to be on the beach in complete privacy and merging with nature. Luckily the weather was sunny, there was only 1 rainy day during the 12 days of my stay. In the shade of green trees you can hide from the sun, although sometimes mosquitoes bite. The island Bodufolhudhoo itself left many nice impressions. The island is well maintained and the local people are very friendly. I recommend to go to the opposite side of the island to look at the nurse sharks and evening fishing. There are several shops with a small assortment on the island, so it's better to bring everything you need with you. You can also take aquashoes as there are pieces of corals and shells in the sand of the beach. Before the trip, I looked through many options of islands and accommodations, but in the end, I was very pleased with my choice of this island and this hotel. The perfect combination of price and quality. As a result I had an amazing Maldivian vacation! Once again, I thank the Paguro Seaview team for creating an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation! I highly recommend this place and hope to come here once again.

We spent a week in the hotel. The island is beautiful, we can live with the natives and see their lives through the fences (which mainly takes place in their gardens). The staff is very, very helpful! The owner is extremely kind and also helpful! The location of the hotel is very good, the rooms are clean. The view from the beach and from some of the rooms is amazing! Everyone is smiling and patient. The dinner buffet is varied and tasty. We ate fantastic fresh fruit! For my birthday, the chef made a chocolate cake. The programs organized by the hotel are of a high standard, the locations are wonderful! In the neighboring hotel, it is worth watching the shark feeding in the evening! It was as if a dream had come true during our "holiday" there! We were very satisfied. Thank you for everything! We'll be back!

Dear Hussain, sorry for writing my review only now. We stayed from 19 to 26 December 2023 (two adults and three children) and were very satisfied. We have stayed in other islands in the area (Mathiveri, Ukulhas) but we liked Bodufolhoodhu the best and it was the best accommodation we have stayed in Maldives so far. Very nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, good restaurant and very good beach (the beach is about 100m right in front of the quiet hotel). Compared to other islands the coral is very nice, we saw also sharks and turtles in the water. Hope we will be able to come back soon, thanks a lot for everything! I have recommended the accommodation to a friend (family Zarand), I think they have already made the reservation, they will come to you in February :) Best regards, Adam Hantos

We stayed one week in Paguro Seaview, and everything was amazing. The people were very nice, the room with the beach view was perfect, and the food very good !! The beach is so beautiful, and there are so many fishes to see just in front of the hotel ! It is surely one of the best places in Maldives to see a lot of varieties of fish without taking a lot of transport. Moreover, the hotel proposes great excursions if you want to see other species like Manta Rays of Wale sharks (we saw so many of them!). We recommend you all to stay at this lovely place !

We spent perfect nine days in a room with direct access to the beach with my husband and six year old daughter. The room was nice and clean and we had lots of space there (we had the family room). The food was delicious and the cook took extremely good care of my special dietary needs. The hotel has also probably the friendliest staff we have ever met on our travels around the world. We did a lot of snorkeling during our stay and the coral reef just in front of the hotel beach is gorgeous and colorful. Most of the reef was alive and is was the best reef we saw on our one month long stay in Maldives. We saw sea turtles and baby reef sharks and you could also snorkel around the island. We also did a trip to see manta rays from the hotel and we saw a lot of them and could snorkel quite close to the mantas.
