Great hotel great staff enjoyed the location would recommend

My second time staying at an Ibis; LOVE these properties. The rooms are very basic but you'll have what you need. The property is fun and stylish, staff was helpful (including arranging midnight airport transportation for us) and there's a full service bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet has an amazing selection of dishes; I wish hotels in the US offered breakfasts like this! The National Museum right across the street is well worth a visit and you're a short drive to Monserrate and Candelaria.

I want to start with a big thank you to the whole team in the reception as well as Danna Carolina for making my stay at Novotel Parque 93 a great one. My airline changed my flight last minute, meaning I arrived in Bogotá very early in the morning on short notice, and the whole Novotel team did everything they could to welcome me while waiting for guests to check out so that I could get a room (they were fully booked the night before). So a particular thanks to the night shift receptionist for all her efforts and care. In general, the Novotel exceeded my expectations. The room was modern, comfortable and very clean, and the service provided was excellent. I was also very happy to have a bath-tub. If I should point to room for improvement, it would be the availability of staff at the bar (I think they often work in the restaurant on the second floor as well, leaving the bar unattended at times) and the size of the gym (it was quite small and very full in the morning). But I enjoyed my workouts, and not least did I have a great grilled tuna filet in the lobby bar. So a big thank you to everyone again for taking so well care of me. You made my stay in Bogotá a great one, and I hope to stay with you again soon!

El desayuno en el hotel es muy bueno ! Hay sopa colombiana y muchas frutas.

Dicen tener parqueadero pero no es así, piden dejar las llaves ( pero eso no lo deberían hacer ya que si le pasa algo al carro nadie responde porque no se hicenron las verificaciones, etc) , y por lo menos en mi caso, que pague para descansar a las 5am me estaban tocando la puerta para que moviera el carro y habiendo llegado a media noche, quiere decir que NO descanse y la plática que me pagué para descansar se perdió, y por otra parte los empleados son muy toscos y rayan en lo grosero para decir las cosas, en otras palabras DEFINITIVAMENTE NO ES LA OPCION SI SE VIAJA EN CARRO, QUIERES BUEN TRATO Y QUIERES DESCASAR.

Check-in proces was quick and efficient, very friendly staff at all hours and no matter where they worked, hotel room was clean and well designed, good beds and a great shower with a good water flow. Breakfast buffet exceeded expectations and service, quality and variety better than higher rated airport hotels. Great to have capuccino or espresso included vs the often coffee from the dispenser. Within 10 min safe walk towards Parque93 many restaurants and coffee places. Couldn’t wish for a better combination of a quality, service, neigbourhood and dining options nearby.

Some of the staff was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, other staff was quite rude. For example, when I asked the gentleman at the front desk to copy my vaccine cards, he practically snatched them out of my hands without saying a word. After handing me my copies, he began to walk away while my cards were still sitting in the copy machine. I politely asked for ”mis tarjetas, por favor.” He walked back over, still silent, and I said simply, ”Esos son importantes.” He chuckled under his breath but still said nothing as he handed the cards back. It was as if he simply had no interest in bothering with them unless I asked. Then, after I paid for the copies, he went to look for my change (1,000 pesos). He then told me in an irritated tone that they didn't have any change. I simply said, ”No es importante.” Throughout the whole interaction, he acted very rushed and inconvenienced, as if I was imposing on him, and he never offered the slightest apology for forgetting my vaccine cards or not having any change. (They were not busy at the time; there were two people working behind the counter and no other guests in line. At least the other fellow was professional, unlike his colleague.) I'm aware that my Spanish is still at an intermediate level; however, if you're going to work in the hotel industry (down the street from the airport, in a capital city, no less), the least you could do is show some courtesy to your guests. (We don't have to speak Spanish to pick up on your passive aggressiveness.) Also, when I arrived there were no towels in the room. It took three requests over about 35-40 minutes to get some. Everyone I talked to seemed very professional and intent on taking care of it, but somehow no one delivered until the third attempt. It was surprising, actually, because the room was immaculate and perfectly made up, except for having no towels of any kind. I enjoyed my dinner a lot, and the lady who waited on me was gracious and patient when conversing with me in Spanish. The restaurant took a few minutes to find, as there are two buildings, each with their own lobby, and the fellow at reception who checked me in didn't mention anything about the restaurant.

My stay was very pleasant and amazing at the same time! I have created a TripAdvisor page just to give all the credit to the one who most impacted my stay! THAT GOES TO EDWIN the Bartender at the beautiful cocktail bar in the lobby, yesterday was my last day at the hotel, my friends and I room 834, we were hungry and went out to eat but it was already late and all the places had been closed. We went at the bar in the lobby, where Edwin was working, but he was already closing his shift, Not only did he greet us with a genuinely smiling face, he also provided us with his full attention and amazing service!! Even though all the items were cleaned and already stored in the cabins, he took his time to take everything out and went above and beyond to make our drinks; apart of that, he also called room service for us and we were able to eat at the bar!!! He deserves a Raise!!! He stayed with us until late, put music for us, and we had a great time! THANK YOU EDWIN FOR MAKING OUR LAST STAY Such A MEMORABLE TIME!!! Please share this with him!!! I love this place. This hotel is one of the best in Bogotá. What I like the most is the location and the breakfast buffet. The service as usual was OUTSTANDING. Mr. Pedro, Ana, and David were really professional and EFFICIENT. I booked the restaurant for a family reunion and my family and I had the best time. Thank you for all your efforts to make my experience UNFORGETTABLE. About the room, the mattress was really good. The room has a coffee maker with a selection of coffee pods and tea. The parking is very convenient and free.

Modern hotel in good part of the city, although no restaurants within easy walking distance, but eating in the hotel restaurant was no problem with tasty food and good service although prices are higher when compared to restaurants elsewhere in the city. Spacious room, well designed , mini bar , safe, desk ,sofa, everything you want except control of the room temperature. We spent most of the time feeling cold in the room with no way to heat it (outside temp dropped to around 7-8C). Beds are very , very firm which is not ideal for anyone. Room pricing is very reasonable and represents good value. Caution with the breakfast buffet - our room was B&B, so we helped ourselves to the buffet only to be confronted with the manager half through our meal telling us that we had only paid for the basic breakfast and therefore needed to pay an extra 56,000pesos per person - the buffet was adequate but falls well below the offerings of 4 star hotels elsewhere. I did find pricing somewhere on the website that confirmed that full breakfast was 56k pp but I never managed to convince the manager that we should only pay the difference between basic breakfast and full breakfast , I felt cheated. One female member of staff on the front desk was very helpful and understanding and spoke good English and tried hard to help, but by this point we had decided not to use the buffet and buy food at local coffee shops close to the hotel. Our travel agent was to blame for only paying for basic breakfast but this was not explained upon check in nor were we told what we could eat without being fined. The good news was at check out when our 2 breakfasts we didn't attend were refunded giving us back approx 75K per day for 2 people, thus proving my point that we should have only paid the difference between 75K and 112K for 2 people to upgrade. Check what type of breakfast you are entitled to and there will be no problems, change the mattresses for something softer and actually plug the thermostat in the rooms into the heating/cooling system and this hotel would easily score 100%
