Regent Hotel

Place stinks of cigarettes everywhere you go, toilet door in room doesn't even shut properly, floor in the room is dirtier than the pavements outside. Didn't even stay the night it was that bad. About 10 minutes we were there and then booked a travellodge instead.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, however the website offers bed and breakfast along with free parking on arrival you have 10 minutes to pay for parking or a parking fine will be issued!! Once we checked in we enquired about breakfast and we were informed that they do not offer this service!! Please be aware!!!

Hotel is a joke, the beds were so bad I slept on the floor, half the blind was missing, tea and coffee was provided sadly you have to take your own kettle, when I booked it stated breakfast included and it wasn't, kinda glad really as it probably would have been road kill from the m6 Called the number provided and no one answered or called back, this place is so bad I wouldn't even recommend to a homeless person

I arrived at this hotel, and I thought initially it was not too bad. I later on ordered food to the hotel and went outside to collect the food.. I then tried to return to the hotel and low and behold I could not get in as I needed a code. I tried banging the door but there was no reception staff (this was around 9/10pm). So, I had to stay outside on the bench until someone had left the hotel from the inside and had to shout at them to leave the door open for me. I was outside for hours, i even slept out there. Please please please never ever stay at this place, you will truly regret it. Price is what you pay for - please remember that.
