Where to begin. How about with the absolutely rude receptionist, Jelena Slovaki (spelling is wrong, but it's close enough to identify her). She was yelling at people during check-in because we didn't want to leave our passports at the front desk overnight for them to be scanned. We insisted that she scan them and immediately return them at check-in. Then, after discovering a dirty room, with something (mushrooms?) growing in the bathroom, I had to go back to see Jelena. She said maybe they are magic mushrooms and I should try them. So unprofessional. She said she would send a housekeeper up to my room. Never showed up. 4 people in my group had dirty rooms. It's a reasonable expectation for a 4-star hotel to be clean, and well kept. Not only was the room dirty, but the furnishings were as well. Even the cloth chair covers in the dining room were dirty. There were discarded napkins under our dining table, and we were the first to use that table when the dining room opened for dinner--must have been left over from breakfast. This place needs a lot of work and attention to be a 4-star hotel. Do not book this place. Oh, and the internet is extraordinarily slow.

Extremely friendly service and very pleasant management. A great buffet with delicious food and a very relaxing atmosphere. Clean and tidy beach with up-to-date and fast service. Comfortable accommodation fully equipped and ready for a pleasant stay.

Food is amazing here. One in a million. I am coming back mostly for the food... the accommodation is ok and the people are very nice that they are working there. Beach is perfect, but the water can be a little bit field with grass in the afternoon when the tide comes in, but forget about that when you order a cake from Azzuro...

Amazing hotel! Including everything you need, it is gorgeus and the staff is very kind and helpful! I loved my stay! It is also very clean and tidy. The food is extremly tasteful and delicious. I would definitely come back and would recommend it to my family and friends!

The hotel is not really bad, old, but good for the price. But what is a pronounced tragedy is the hotel staff. A lot of employees don't even have basic English and you feel unwelcome as soon as you enter. All this is completed by the staff in the restaurant and day bar. For us, in terms of service, the worst hotel we have ever been to. We do not think in the slightest that we will ever return here or that we will recommend the hotel to anyone. The locals still have a lot to learn in the field of tourism. We are happy to be home.

I have nothing good to say about this hotel. The staff were shockingly rude and we felt laughed at and conned from the minute we walked in. Reviews of this hotel looked good and I am sad to say there is no way this is a good hotel - staff rude, breakfast is disgusting (mainly beige), the swimming pool is small and absolutely filled with dirt. Though the façade of the hotel might look impressive, the skirting boards are falling away, the plates / cutlery are dirty at breakfast and the staff are unfriendly. Do not waste your money here.

The food selection is fantastic. The buffet table is incredibly large. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The bathroom was amazingly clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The large and clean swimming pool amazed me. I had a great time and will come again.

We felt very unwelcome from the start. Front desk staff seemed to be laughing at us when telling us the price of our room to the extent that we checked online to make sure we weren't being overcharged. When showing us the room, front desk staff sent us up to the third floor in the lift while taking the stairs. We were left lost on the third floor landing for 5 minutes and treated rudely when the staff finally came up to show us the room. The lift is barely fit for 2 people. The hotel looks grand on the surface but there were missing skirting boards in the corridors. The bar downstairs shuts at 11pm and is expensive. The Azzure restaurant on the beach is an absolute trek from the hotel. Breakfast was mainly beige. Very overpriced for what it is, where it is and how we were treated.

I don’t think I have ever stayed in a hotel with such bad service from all of the staff. The restaurant manager was extremely rude on our first night and yelled at us for walking into the restaurant 3 minutes before scheduled opening time. Our two small kids got very sad and affected by the “mean man”. Such bad first impression of the hotels buffet restaurant. The reception manager turned us away several times, not understanding our needs or wanting to help us. The cleaning lady yelled at us for letting our doors stand open in the heat wave, and she even went into the room even though I was sleeping and started cleaning the room even though I said we didn’t need it. It was extremely uncomfortable and she crossed by boundaries. Many amongst the staff don’t speak or understand English very well. The hotel is unclean, old and many of the facilities are either out of order, such as toilets near the pool or just very poorly maintained. The hotel is not as promised a 4 star hotel. We cannot recommend this place to anyone.
