Slagsta Gate Hotell

Bad location, bad front desk service, bad cleaning. Too far outside the city, you have to take a car to get to the city. It is located in an industrial area with nothing around it. Okay for a business trip but don’t book it for romantic getaway. We booked 2 nights via a booking website, arriving on a national holiday “Kristi Himmelfarts dag” and the reception was closed with a sign that we could call a service with a fee of 1000 sek extra. We called our booking company who called the hotel and we could pick up our room key in a box outside the reception, but they gave us the wrong box number. Thanks to a very kind cleaning lady we found the correct box and finally got into our room. We received no e-mail containing the above mentioned or that we had to collect our key in the box. The room was okay standard, beds was nice and it looked clean. However we found a long hair in one of the towels not ours. Also when we were sleeping at 7:30 in the morning a cleaning lady came into our room after a small knock on the door. She left quickly when I got up, but it’s too early for cleaning and only after a small knock on the door. There was also a small humming noise in the room all the time that was getting annoying after some time.
