We booked this trip through Amex Platinum, the first night we had no hot water. I notified the office the next day. They sent a maintenance man over and he didn’t know how to fix the problem so my husband told him what to do which was removing the knob and adjusting the temperature. The maintenance person was there for a very long time, after which whenever you used the shower, the floor would flood. We also informed that the internet for the TV wasn’t working, he worked on that and we still had issues with watching TV. Our room was next to a baby gate for the pool, so every person that came into the pool area the door would slam, this would go on all hours of the day and night. They gave us 2 rolls of toilet paper to last 4 nights and when we ask for more, they would only give us a roll at a time. We had to leave a day early as my husband was having a medical issue with his blood pressure. I spoke with the manager, and she offered a credit to be used within one year and the credit amount was $260.00 something which was an insult. I told her I had no reason to ever come back to this dump. When we got home, I reported it to Amex and found out the enormous rate we paid, 1st night $577.02, 2nd night $518.02 and 3rd night $329.22. Amex didn’t make this clear when I was booking online which I am taking up with them.
