Premier Inn Huntingdon (A1/A14)

Really lovely staff, all so helpful and friendly, made our stay so nice, would highly recommend! We had a few things that needing sorting and each time the staff did happily! They were so approachable and ensured we had a great stay on our family break!

Fifth stay at this premier inn ,, again such an enjoyable stay ….3 nights …. Use for location whilst visiting family….. Jenny especially and David ( staff ) make our stay so nice and pleasant….. First visit 2 years ago and did so much extra for us because of my wife who was very poorly over the 3 days , since then every visit is coming home to very good friends and this last visit staff ( Jenny organised) Birthday gifts for my wife , so very thoughtful …

Hotel staff polite and professional. Room clean and tidy. Location idea for Huntingdon and surrounding area. Even though the hotel is near the A1 it was quiet and the traffic did not interrupt our sleep.

We choose hotel with dinner and breakfast for friendly price. Meal was gread ,friendly welcome and service in hotel and dinner and beaakfast area. For few items from meal deal needed to pay extra,but it's ok. Wasn't very big price diference

I stayed two nights in different rooms. It’s a standard Premier Inn generally clean but quite tired. When I retired to bed on the second night I found the sheet covering the mattress was unclean. It had a “ skidmark” and this would have been obvious to the person who made the bed or the laundry wasn’t changed after the last guest. I mentioned this at reception in the morning and the manager gave me a business card with contact details for customer service. I wrote to the email address which immediately bounced back indicating the mailbox is no longer monitored. I was directed to a comments website which indicated I should expect a reply within 30 days. I think this is a rubbish response to customer service from a hospitality business. The hotel is conveniently located with good facilities nearby. It is used by tradesmen who got up very early circa 4.30 am presumably to go to contract sites in London. They were very noisy and I didn’t get a good night’s sleep.

Stayed in Huntingdon for a night at the Premier Inn. The hotel is located in a convenient location if your on the road travelling across through the area. Room was clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was good. Staff were friending and welcoming. Happy to use again.

Rooms were very nice and clean. David from front desk was very friendly, kind and professional. Other staff was also helpful. I can advise to get floss or toothpicks to have for guests. The meals at the restaraunt next-door was very nice and it was a relaxing experience/ stay.

Not been here since frequenting g between 2009 and 2013. Back then it was the go to local hotel, always good, ‘table table’ restaurant and great bar. Fast forward 10 years…oh dear! Rooms getting old and in need of some cosmetic repair here and there, dirty cups left for the next guest, sofa had been removed. For the money they now charge, no air con. I’d rather use a strong competitor locally . Staff were nice and friendly although it was clear they were super busy and had far too much to cope with. On arrival we waited 10 minutes in reception…turns out the member of staff was helping out in the pub! Food: awful. Cold, tasteless, shrivelled and poor quality. Absolutely appalling! That said, breakfast was pretty good but a bit overcrowded. What happened to breakfast to order?

Where do I start, we have visited here numerous times and always had a great stay. This was for my 60th Birthday oh my days when entering our room there were flowers,choccies,bubbly banners,ballon, birthday confetti and a lovely card from Jenny and the team. There were tears of happiness from me for them to have gone to all this effort was above and beyond any expectations ever imagined. 10/10 is not enough praise for any of them , they all go above and beyond to make you feel special xx I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart especially Jenny and David your superstars for sure. I have read some travellers comments on cigarette butts outside the front of hotel i can assure you the staff work tirelessly to keep this clean and tidy, sadly it is the hotel guests that are too lazy to use bins and ashtrays all provided for your convenience so please dont be put off by these comments. So to this end David keep on smiling and laughing you are a real gent and a pure tonic. Jenny please dont change you are a wonderful person inside and out.
