It wasn't that we didn't like this place, i's just it didn't have much to it. The pool is very small and would be busy with more than 2 people in it. The service and the breakfast itself were the lowest rated out of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Costa Rica.
There is nothing wrong with this hotel at all. The cleaning service was fantastic. The location is good, but you do have to walk along a busy roadside for a few meters to get down into the town for the beach or restaurants. The rooms were comfy and the air con worked very well.
We did enjoy the wildlife, there were Iguanas everywhere (big ones!) and we spotted a monkey one evening. Would also recommend the souvenir shop opposite the hotel.

The restaurant and staff were great. The room was small and noisy. We heard everything outside the room as though we were outside, including conversations, traffic.

This property fulfilled my two most important criteria-very comfortable bed and good climate control and air conditioning. It is located on a busy ***** of roadway, but walking distance to the beach, so if you don't need a fancy setting, the price is right for a solid place to stay, and the staff are wonderful and accomodating-did not try the food at the restaurant (only there one nght)

This hotel is a ten-minute walk to the beach. It has an attached restaurant and we heard live music while we were there!
The rooms are spacious and clean. The front desk is super helpful and the breakfast was delicious!

I would have given a 5 star review provided each night costs not more than $60 —$70 max. Rooms badly needs upgrades. Otherwise excellent staffs, nice restaurant with very reasonable prices — no complaints.

This is like a hidden gem. Staff is like family. Rooms are great. And the town is so fun. Don’t go to the resort. Stay local. You’ll love your trip that much more.

Great Hotel on Brasilito. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Brasilito Beach and 15-20 minutes to Playa Conchal which is only accessible by walking. Even though it's right on the main road our room was quiet (we do sleep with white noise though). Our , the restaurant and pool were all clean. The staff were all great, friendly and efficient. The included breakfast was great with 3 different options plus self serve cereals, toast, juice and really good coffee. They have Happy Hour from 2-6pm.
A couple of the staff tried to help me get ahold of our Car Rental company and went over and above to help. Parking can be full but they have access to extra spots next door and a security guard on all night, (we never felt unsafe though). This is a great value hotel.

A lovely surprise, colorful, local, traditional, and inviting this property is something else than any other offers in Brasilito. The personal makes even a bigger and more pleasant surprise. Birds and iguanas seem to like the property too. The proximity to Playa Conchal adds to the overall value (15-20 minutes’ walk). It offers an amazing breakfast and the local restaurant has good food at an acceptable price. All in all, if you do not want to pay the big bucks and get it all, this is the place.
