We (a family for 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12) stopped only one night in Brasov en route to Istanbul by train. We stayed in apar**ent #1. The room was perfect - two bedrooms, super stylish, cool bathroom and AMAZING shower!! Great location in the old town and the hotel staff were really helpful! Choosing a hotel in Brasov is hard - the online information is quite opaque - so let me help and just suggest you stay here :) One night in this lovely town / area isn’t quite enough but equally, we had a great time.

I recommend this housing and it’s owner for the following reasons: - very close to city centre and it’s behind the black church - nice interior design, well arranged - very nice owner - patio for smokers or just sky gazing. - when you enter the room, first it’s a small entrance area where you can live your coat and shoes and perhaps the empty bags, then there’s a door that separates the room you sleep in from the coat and shoe room. - very nice comfy pillows and bed linen - big windows, a lot of light and air coming in with very nice decorations too. Cons: Parking- you either get lucky to park right in front of the door if by the grace of gods there’s room, if not, parking is on the street and it’s also tricky to find spots especially in the weekends. It’s paid parking, I believe 25 lei for 24 hrs or something. The shower ; it’s a walk in but I believe it needs to be checked by a professional because the water almost got into our room. We basically showered backed against the wall so we would minimise the flood 😄 The coffee machine aka espressos: either I don’t know how to work it (I have one at home but another company) or something was off : coffee was cold and didn’t had much body to it, also, it would’ve been very helpful to have a couple sugars in between the very thoughtful sweets the owner gave us. (As a coffee addict and lover I felt the need to let the others know to bring some extra love to this coffee machine) All in all, a very nice experience with a very nice owner and we will be back shortly at this exact place. Oh, bonus, when leaving the apartment, if you go right a couple building there’s the narrowest street in Europe “Strada Sforii” that’s lighten even at 1am (we checked 😄).

As fotos do hostel são bonitas e a localização é realmente muito boa, no centro de tudo em Brasov. Os pontos positivos terminam aí, pois nada parece funcionar nesse hostel. Eles não tem internet própria, usam a internet de um restaurante que fica ao lado e que obviamente não funciona direito. Nos quartos a internet não funciona de modo algum, para conseguir algum sinal é preciso sentar no pátio, sujeito as intempéries e onde não tem nenhuma tomada e apenas duas mesas minúsculas e desconfortáveis. Não há outra área comum e nem cozinha disponível. Os quartos são escuros. No quarto número 4 no térreo, não há ar-condicionado, mas o preço é o mesmo dos quartos do primeiro andar com ar-condicionado. Os chuveiros saem um filete ralo de água, quase insuficiente para tomar um banho confortável e o mecanismo do chuveiro está estragado então não é possível deixar o chuveiro em uma altura confortável para uma pessoa com 1,70 ou mais tomar banho (isso acontece em TODOS os banheiros do hostel). A porta do banheiro do quarto número 4 não tranca. A recepcionista nunca está lá, não resolve absolutamente nada e apenas diz que se você quiser, devolve o dinheiro e você que procure outro lugar, pois ela não pode fazer nada. Reclamei da internet diversas vezes e foi dito que eles não tem outra internet disponível e não podem fazer nada. O check-in é as 3pm, mas minha cama só estava disponível depois das 3:30pm. Estou acostumada a me hospedar em hostels realmente muito simples, com estrutura básica, mas nunca havia visto um hostel com tantos problemas ao mesmo tempo e simplesmente nenhuma vontade de resolver nada. Principalmente não ter internet, é absolutamente inadmissível.

Wholly cow! What an awesome place. Perfect location, rooms were great. Each of the rooms are a whole different story, my family enjoyed that a lot. Every detail is simply a great one, without making anything complicated. Direct and unobstructed view to the plaza. Coming back in Summer for sure!

This place is in a perfect location for the main square and the cable car to the mountain, giving you access to all the local eating places, bars and attractions like the Black Church. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The shower was good, with nice water pressure and plenty of hot water. There is a fridge, but no air con. However, we put the fan on a couple of times, and that was fine. Housekeeping comes in daily. Despite being so central, it is a lovely quiet place to stay. My only criticism is that there is no way I could make some tea in the room. The coffee machine in the lobby was appreciated, but a kettle for us tea lovers would be a great addition.

The location is exceptional, located 10 minutes walk from the old center. Although it is an old building, it is very well maintained, tastefully decorated in order to keep the charm and character of the building. We stayed here for 2 nights and we enjoyed every minute of it. The room very nice, clean and close to the kitchen. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee looking at the view of Mount Tampa. Most certainly we will stay here every time we arrive in Brasov
