Hotel berhampiran Loc de joacă pentru copii, Brasov

¡Lujo por fuera y viejo por dentro, todo fachada! Llegamos en julio y estuvimos 5 noches. El primer día llegamos tarde porque veníamos de otra ciudad lejana que queríamos visitar, y resulta que nos encontramos en la recepción con un huésped, quejándose de que su habitación no tenía aire acondicionado y que era difícil de aguantar, con un calor de 38 Cº afuera. Yo le pregunté que si lo que hemos reservado tenía aire acondicionado y me dijo que no. Lo que pasaba que es un hotel de 4 estrellas con parte del edificio de 3 estrellas y esa ala costaba 84 € /noche y no tenía ascensor ni aire acondicionado, una locura para los sueldos en Rumania. Tuvimos que pagar 40 € de diferencia por noche de suplemento para qué nos alojaran en una habitación con aire acondicionado y ascensor. Me parece un poco estafa que no pongan claro la falta de aire acondicionado, sobre todo en verano. Aparte de que todos estos días el desayuno muy escaso y más de lo mismo, en restaurante de 3 estrellas cutre... ¡No es oro todo lo que reluce!

Although so close to the pedestrian street and the Council Square, you have a panoramic view of Brasov and Tampa, there is a lot of vegetation, a neighborhood with chic houses with interwar architecture. Everything renovated, modern in terms of utilities but keeping many details retro in harmony with the architecture of the house. Cleaning, excellent mattresses for a good night's sleep, small specific details for 4 stars, rich breakfast, from fruit to cakes, including smoked salmon in abundance, and the breakfast interval is very generous, up to 11, which is rare. The terrace is beautiful. Very beautiful and impeccably clean bathrooms. We had a single room in the villa and a studio with generous space in an annex building, renovated in minimalist style . Rooms with minibar as well as tea, coffee, water from the house. The villa has about 6-7 parking spaces but there is the possibility of parking on the street or in the parking lot arranged nearby .

We stayed in room 514. On the positive side, the rooms were very big, the bed comfortable and it was quiet at night. Generally, the hotel would benefit from refurbishment as many areas looked old and tired. The air conditioning worked well and the mini bar was quiet, unlike those of other hotels in which I've stayed. However, there were numerous negative points which need to be addressed. The most annoying was the shower - too small, screen too short and leaked, water taking 8 minutes (sadly I did time it as it happened every evening) to warm up in the evening. What a waste of water and a direct contradiction to the sign encouraging guests to re-use their towels. The basin struggled to fill up as its plug didn't work properly, then the remaining water was slow to empty, whilst making loud gurgling noises. Remind your staff to clean under the rim of the toilet (see photo). The drawers in the bedroom needed attention as they struggled to open and close. Despite hanging the label on the door, indicating that we'd like the room serviced (mainly a need for fresh towels from mopping up the leak), this was not done and it took 3 visits to reception to get said clean towels (1 from the tour guide and 2 from myself). I was told that rooms were got ready for new guests before existing guests' rooms. Preferential treatment for new customers whilst the old ones don't matter! Clearly the hotel was understaffed and they ran out of time. On the third morning of our 4 night stay; breakfast proved to be a real ordeal. Only one coffee machine working for the whole hotel, lack of food due to so many guests and the supply not meeting the demand. It would help if guests did not help themselves to breakfast provisions and make their lunch rolls from them!! Having addressed my concerns to the manager, I did not feel respected and valued.

Great location for exploring the town as well as wonderfull nature that surrounds Brasov. We went for several trail runs and a longer hike during our stay. Just as well that the highlight of our stay was the breakfast. They offer numerous sweet and savoury options with something new every day so we didn't get bored during our week long stay. Also there are some traditional Romanian spreads. Room was very comfortable and modernly furnished, spotlessly clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Reservation process and communication before the arrival was very professional and timely.

I really wanted to like Casa Chitic, the photos looked great and it seemed very good value for money. The location is ideal - bars and restaurants are right around the corner but it isn't a noisy location. The rooms are big enough and nicely decorated and back onto a courtyard where you can sit outside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, unfortunately there were a couple of issues. First, the reception is not 24 hours. We arrived at 6:45pm and had to check ourselves in. This was super easy but there is no one on hand if you have problems. In the room there was a single pillow and one towel between two people. I messaged immediately but this wasn't rectified until the next day (and even then we only had two thin pillows provided). On another occasion, we ran out of loo roll in the evening and had to go into town to buy our own. The hotel could do with being a bit more generous with these essential provisions. The aircon did not work at all during our stay. It would come on but didn't blow cold air and when I mentioned it the staff did not seem at all surprised. We were allowed to move rooms but the issue was exactly the same so I actually think it's just an ineffective system. The room was absolutely sweltering and it was difficult to sleep. If these details could be ironed out it would be a really lovely hotel.

Plus: Emplacement central, Accès rapide à la place et au centre historique. Prix attractif Moins: La chambre ne correspondait à aucune de celles en photos sur le site. Insalubre et vétuste, draps tachés, présence de cheveux dans les draps, frigo très bruyant, mal insonorisé (bruits venant des autres chambres et ballet des femmes de ménages dès 9h), tables de nuit poussiéreuses, j'ai dû faire le ménage dans la chambre avant de pouvoir m'y installer. Pas de pression au robinet et dans la douche, très compliqué de prendre une douche avec un si petit débit d'eau. Serviettes tachées et déchirées, rideaux occultants trop petits pour couvrir l'intégralité de la fenêtre, donc réveillé dès 5h du matin par les rayons du soleil.

We (a family for 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12) stopped only one night in Brasov en route to Istanbul by train. We stayed in apar**ent #1. The room was perfect - two bedrooms, super stylish, cool bathroom and AMAZING shower!! Great location in the old town and the hotel staff were really helpful! Choosing a hotel in Brasov is hard - the online information is quite opaque - so let me help and just suggest you stay here :) One night in this lovely town / area isn’t quite enough but equally, we had a great time.

Il residence si trova in pieno centro. Posizione eccellente per raggiungere qualsiasi luogo di interesse. La struttura è elegante ma sobria. Trattasi di un edificio d'epoca. Le camere sono semplici ma essenziali. Colazione eccellente

We absolutely loved the location, safe and within minutes of the city center. One of the front desk staff (a lovely woman with glasses) stood out to us as exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The same warmth and kindness was also shown by one of the breakfast staff, who started our day with a smile. The room was enormous—perfectly accommodating 3-4 as well as luggage. As for areas of improvement—the rugs could be darker or replaced, as they had some markings. Housekeeping was efficient—quick and in and out. The bed was a bit soft for my taste, and the pillows were not ideal. The A/C was somewhat noisy. One night, the ceiling unexpectedly started leaking. Handling of such situations in Romania seems different—there was no compensation or mention of potentially switching rooms. Instead, we were informed by the young man that it could happen again, which was not very reassuring.
