Hotel 2 Bintang di Bratislava

Don’t be deceived by the photos! The only positive thing we can say about this hostel is the bar downstairs with the evening activities. The main entertainment man was lovely and very welcoming, whilst the other staff looked at us as if we had 10 heads most of the time. We were inter-railing and this was the worst hostel we had been in. Despite there being free washing use, which was great, the dryers were horrendous and left our clothes wet for ages, and boiling hot (untouchable) leaving our room almost as a laundrette. The hostel was at the end of an alley way, so didn’t feel particularly safe, as well as the doors to the room not being great(with force, you could probably barge the door down with body weight). The bedsheets were stained and bobbled and so were the pillows. The showers were small and gross, with hair bunged up around the plug hole. The beds also creaked like mad and the fan was something from the 90s which puffed out less than a breath of air! I would only recommend this hostel if you were desperate and in need of a central hostel in Bratislava- but wouldn’t recommend if you were looking for a safe, clean room!

Great hotel, bathroom, beds, breakfast. Couldn’t be better! Lady at front desk was welcoming and showed us around. Rooms had tv in them as well which was a nice amenity. Would defintely consoder staying here again.

I stayed two nights in February, the hostel was clean, spacious, light and quite cozy. The hostel feels little bit like a huge flat with many rooms, it has nice and calm/chill atmosphere, I felt there like at home, which I really appreciated. In the big ”living room” there two big tables with chairs (perfect for playing board games), sofa with armchairs and bookshelf with armchair in the corner. In the living room there is always tea/coffee to make, that's very pleasant. There is also a small kitchen, suitable for cooking. Toilets and bathroom were clean and ok. I liked the bed, it was comfortable and didn't make any noise when moving. Rooms are very very spacious. I would like to thank once again to the host, Rado, who was so kind and sent me by a post (for free!) things I forgot in the hostel:)) Next time in Bratislava I'm definitely choosing this hostel again.

Located in a residential area, the Hotel Orlan is only 1.9 mi away from Bratislava Airport and from the Avion Shopping Center. I was impressed from first exchange of e-malls by swiftness of response, good organisation, helpfulness, friendliness and courtesy all of which were confirmed in further exchanges and by our actual experience during our stay. The location, In a quiet area on the edge of Bratislava’s Old Town, Is ideal for sight-seeing In and around the city with access to local and international bus services within a few minutes' walking distance The accommodation Is In a modern, well-equipped building offering convenience and simple stylishness in a pleasant garden surrounded and screened from the street by more historic buildings, The spotless cleanliness is immediately impressive. The choice of delicious hot and cold food and beverages from the breakfast buffet Is extensive and varied. All of these aspects are highly recommendable for both quality and value The Centrum Salvator provides a refreshingly peaceful oasis from which to explore an attractive city with a fascinating history.

Generally good stay. No water on the last day when we woke up. I get happens but staff didn’t seem concerned or provide anything to support guests. Location was good, right on the doorstep of the castle and close to the old town. We did use the trams but stops very close to the hotel.

The female receptionist and manager were very helpfull -polite .Great wifi-clean quiet rooms.Would stay there again.

Service was nice, hotel is in the centre of the old town so shop or some sights were close, everything was nice and clean and there was no problem

What a wonderful hotel! Nothing was too much! The staff were friendly and helpful. With a toddler travelling is always fun but this hotel is right inthe centre of the old town so perfectly located when we needed to come back for a mid day nap. The breakfast was simple but delicious located downstairs it was a lovely set up. Felt very homey. The room was clean & I loved the instant coffee sachets! The bit I loved the most about the hotel was the reading area which was quiet & provided the perfect place to sit & relax after a busy day. It also meant I could sit & read whilst my daughter was sleeping.
