Hotel Dengfeng dengan Sarapan

This homestay was an absolutely perfect experience! The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. They even offered free transfers to nearby attractions, making our sightseeing so convenient. The rooftop terrace is simply stunning! In the evening, we ordered dinner and they brought it up, allowing us to enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the beautiful view , truly the ultimate vacation pleasure. I actually booked this place just for the rooftop terrace, and it did not disappoint! The price is also amazing , you won’t find a better deal. Exceptional value for money. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing! I felt so cared for and looked after. They go above and beyond in so many ways to make it a wonderful stay. They really did SO much for me to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are beautiful and also cared for. It felt welcoming, clean, warm and wonderful. They have great attention to detail and are so incredibly considerate seeking to offer their visitors the best experience they can. The location is wonderful. A short walk to Songyang scenic area and some great local eateries. A short taxi (11yuan) to the Shaolin scenic area. I so highly recommend this place. I only write reviews when somewhere stands out and this place definitely does!!!!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this homestay in Dengfeng. It was the highlight of our trip to the Shaolin Temple area! The Room: The room was incredibly spacious—way bigger than we expected! And it was very, very clean. Everything from the bedding to the bathroom was spotless and well-maintained. It felt like a home away from home. The Location: Absolutely fabulous. We were close to all the main sights, including the Shaolin Temple and Mount Song. It made getting around so easy, and there were great local restaurants just steps away. The Staff (The REAL Highlight): The staff were super, super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. But one moment truly touched our hearts. We were running late for breakfast and arrived just as they were about to clear everything. Even though there was still plenty of food left, we only ate a little because we felt bad keeping them waiting, and we quickly headed out. Just as we were about to leave, the owner came running after us with two packs of milk in her hands. She said, ”You didn't eat much breakfast, so please take this milk before you go.” It honestly melted our hearts. That small, thoughtful gesture showed just how much she truly cares about her guests. Final Verdict: If you're visiting Dengfeng, do yourself a favor and stay here. Spacious, spotless, perfectly located, and run by the warmest, most generous people. We will definitely be back!

All in all we are quite satisfied with our short stay. We haven't used any of the hotel amenities like swimming pool or restaurant, so it's impossible to comment upon them. However, we'd like to say thank you to the stuff that is available any time. It turned out that one faucet didn't work properly and we only found it out at around 11 p.m. We called service number and the problem was solved within 10 minutes. One more pleasant thing is the pillow menu) The beds are generally very comfortable (unlike in many other Chinese hotels), but you still can choose an orthopedic pillow to your liking. That was very nice! Location is good (around 15 min to the mountain park entrance and to the bus station). Unfortunately, we are not very happy with the view. (It was a mountain view room). Yes, we saw a pagoda and the mountains, but also the construction site right below our windows. Workes started their day at around 7 a.m., which was clearly heard in our room. In addition, there's some soft music constantly playing in the corridor. Definitely not for those who are sensitive to extra sounds.

This hotel is located in close proximity to the Shaolin Temple Jingtian Point. In an intimate atmosphere, the staff members helped transport attendees to the venue and moved their luggage. in addition, they proposed a night show at Shorinji Temple and suggested a route around Shorinji Temple, and the service was very good. The room was new and clean, and I was able to get a good night's sleep. Although it was only one instance, there was a spot in the pot that looked slightly dirty. If hotel could just fix that part, it would be perfect. Recommended for sightseeing in Shaolin Temple.

The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. They took time to patiently provide assistance like helping to make reservation for visit to Henan Museum. The service provided was good. I recommend this hotel to travelers. There are some restaurants nearby.

The hotel is very clean and elegant, our room was spacious, well decorated and equipped. The bed was very big and comfortable. Healthy breakfast served in the room at preferred time. The staff is friendly and polite, we even tried the spa service and it was very pleasant. Close to all the main attractions, it’s a good deal for its price. Accept foreigners

Very friendly and helpful staff. One person spoke some English which made things a little easier for me. It's a quick taxi ride to Songshan. It's not really in a location to walk to places so I think it's best if you have your own car. The taxi driver and 'other' drivers do like to overcharge tourists. Getting off at the bus station and being harassed by drivers was unpleasant and gave Dengfeng a bad feeling. There is no train so unless you have a car, you'll also have this unpleasant experience. Dengfeng is quite nice just the welcome is unfortunate. The hotel staff were wonderful, and the room was spacious. I loved the little table by the window, very pleasant. The restaurant across from the parking lot has tasty food and very reasonable priced.

Very familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.

Amazing facility for the price-- complimentary breakfast alone is worth the room price. Excellent location to grab a taxi to Shaolin Temple National Park (30 to 40RMB, in my experience). Staff is professional, friendly. Room is clean, spacious, very comfortable, WiFi works great, they can supply phone charger, fruit store within 10-minute walk, KUNG FU PIZZA- a delightful restaurant is located just West, behind the hotel through a sidewalk access to the RIGHT of the building facing it. I would strongly recommend this place as a base for exploring Shaolin.
