The hotel really exceeded my expectations! The room was a pleasant surprise — it came equipped with smart home features, and the furniture was all modern and comfy. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely nice, making our stay really enjoyable. In terms of convenience, there were plenty of cafes and supermarkets within walking distance. As for getting to Shaolin Temple, it was a breeze — just a 15-20 minute taxi ride away. Overall, this hotel really hit the mark with its amenities and location!

Great homestay with friendly and serviceminded hosts The Dengfeng Youlu Homestay was a very nice experience and can be highly recommended. The rooms were very clean and modern. Spacious and with comfortable beds. The bathroom was also modern with nice amenities. The location is a little outside the city, but closer to the main attractions to Mount Song. So easy to reach with taxi. We found the location very good and convenient since we wanted to go to the scenic areas. We had breakfast included and found it very tasty and nice. It was plain and fresh and a nice selection of nutritious food before starting the day. The service was very good. The hosts didn’t speak much English, but we used translator apps so absolutely no problem for foreigners. The Dengfeng Youlu honestly has a nice compound with a Chinese garden. They also have a pool. It looks very comfy and cosy to sit and enjoy the garden, but we were there in beginning January so it was wintertime. The room we got had nice view of the garden and the mountains. We can for sure recommend this homestay and we think the reviews written so fare are very correct.

This hotel is located in close proximity to the Shaolin Temple Jingtian Point. In an intimate atmosphere, the staff members helped transport attendees to the venue and moved their luggage. in addition, they proposed a night show at Shorinji Temple and suggested a route around Shorinji Temple, and the service was very good. The room was new and clean, and I was able to get a good night's sleep. Although it was only one instance, there was a spot in the pot that looked slightly dirty. If hotel could just fix that part, it would be perfect. Recommended for sightseeing in Shaolin Temple.

The martial arts exhibitions, including a nightly Kung Fu show that outshone the one at Shaolin Temple, were a highlight, immersing guests in the local culture. The vegetarian restaurant offered tasty, culturally significant dishes, though the breakfast buffet lacked Western options and the coffee could use improvement. The location is ideal, just 9 km from Shaolin Temple and close to other attractions like Songyang Academy, making it perfect for exploring Dengfeng’s cultural landmarks. As for the receptionist, Miss 李, she was exceptional. Her warm, friendly demeanor and proactive assistance stood out, as she helped with everything from organizing transportation to answering queries with a smile. Reviews consistently praise the front desk staff, and Miss 李 embodied the hotel’s “customer first” philosophy, making our stay feel personalized and welcoming. Her attentiveness, along with the staff’s overall service, truly enhanced the experience, ensuring we felt cared for throughout our visit. Miss Li's (李 )hospitality is exceptional.

性價比較高的一家商務酒店，早餐不咋滴，但是夠吃，就是這個價格變動太誇張，提前預訂的房價竟然比當天訂的價格整整高了將近一百塊人民幣，真是無語！大家入住前先別急着辦入住交錢，先看看預訂平台當天的價格再説，前台辦理入住不是刷的信用付，裏面有按金加房費一起刷掉的，記得退房的時候等按金到賬再走！！！唯一的優勢也就是離嵩陽書院近了！

This hotel is in a very serene environment that is beautiful! My friend and I loved the grounds, our rooms, and the excellent restaurant. Denfeng is a small but charming town and this is a perfect location to enjoy the beautiful nature in this area. The staff were very friendly, professional, and attentive. Gao Yupeng was especially helpful. He speaks English and had great information about the best places to go in the area and the best ways to get there. The only thing that my friend and I regretted is that we didn't book a longer stay. I would definitely stay there again, especially in the cooler weather because they have amazing looking hot springs.

It doesn't seem feasible to reach the hotel by public transport, so having a car is necessary. Accessing the hotel entrance on foot involves climbing a flight of stairs from ground level. Once inside, guests must take the lift to reach the reception on level 6 for check-in. Luggage loading can be managed in carpark B1, and this requires the hotel to open the gate for vehicle access. In terms of service, the hotel staff were attentive and provided good service. They efficiently dried my son's and my sports shoes overnight, saving us from having to travel in wet footwear the next day. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was delivered to our room. We were able to enjoy it on our small balcony, which was a delightful touch. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious.

Not far from Shaolin or the long distance bus station. Good breakfast options, attentive service. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to the area.

We stayed one night at this homestay with this lovely family. They helped us get tickets to the Shaolin Zen Music Ritual and provided transport to get us there and picked us up. They also provided us with warm clothes as it got quite cold at night. The dinner and breakfast were simple but delicious and they gave us huge portions. If you are looking for a genuine homestay with a local rural family, you will like it here.
