Hotel Jianyang dengan Sarapan

Well , to be honest I’m non-Chinese speaking, so the communication between me and hotel staffs is limited due to Google, Facebook are blocked in China. However, the staffs have tried their best to support me as much as possible. I’ve highly recommend for this hotel because of their affordable cost, friendly and kindness service staffs… , but in my opinion, it’ll be hard for non- Chinese speakers like me to get to the hotel when first arriving in Tianfu, and you should have proper instructions for guests how to book transfer shuttle service easily, using translate app… in order to get more convenient. Like most, I booked the hotel to be closed to Tianfu airport for an early morning flight. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The room is clean, modern and well lighted. Free airport transfer is shared by all the hotels in the vicinity so takes some time to reach the airport. It took about 40 mins this morning to reach the airport.

Mingle Hotel is located in a small local town, Jian Yang. Choose this, mainly for the hotel/airport transfers as my departing flight is from Tianfu International Airport. On the return leg from Tibet and an overnight train, Lhasa-Xining, fly Xining-Chengdu on the same day, all I want is a quick shower and comfortable bed in a quiet room. Driver Mr Hu, who is also the boss of the hotel, picked me up from the airport and merely a short drive to the hotel 🙏. The next morning is a market day, and the little town was alive. For those not fuzzy and willing to try, there are small, clean entries within walking distance. When I was too lazy to walk, the friendly ladies at the front desk helped to order delivery, and I loved the grilled chicken leg 🥰 I'd consider transportation to downtown chengdu rather convenient as one of the Mr Hu, will be on standby to ferry pax. On day 2, when I wanted to visit downtown chengdu, Mr Hu sent me to the airport, and there are airport buses and metro going direct to various locations. After my sightseeing, I texted Mr Hu before boarding the bus so he could estimate a time to pick me up from the airport. Journey from airport to downtown is around 1.5 hours. As a tourist, I enjoyed the bus ride as part of my sightseeing itineraries.

The room was decent with a clean bathroom and a balcony with real plants. Odourless and comfortable for an overnight stay. Breakfast was simple oriental style but a lot of varieties available when I wake up around 7am to have it. Every staff here are very helpful and friendly. They contacted me one day before my flight to offer me the free shuttle service. During my stay, when I didn’t manage to get a converter for my charger, the staff borrowed me theirs to use for a night. The hotel reception might look simple and less classy compared to those in the the city area but I think it is a nice and up-to-standard choice for the area is overall a very lively town in rural area. (Photos were taken when I checked out, thus the bed was slightly messed)

Lokasinya bagus, pemanduan yang singkat dari Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Tianfu. Banyak restoran dan makanan betul-betul di luar hotel, tetapi kami tidak mempunyai masa untuk mencubanya. Pengambilan dan penghantaran ke lapangan terbang diatur dalam van kecil. Ia sempit dengan orang ramai dan ruang yang sangat sedikit untuk bagasi. Terdapat bau rokok yang keluar dari penghawa dingin, jadi kami terpaksa tidur dengan tingkap terbuka, nasib baik cuaca malam itu sejuk. Biliknya agak kecil. Selepas meletakkan bagasi, terdapat ruang berjalan kaki yang sangat kecil, tetapi kami berada di sana hanya untuk semalaman untuk singgah. Pancurannya deras dan panas, tetapi longkang mudah tersumbat.

Saya tiba pada awal pagi, tetapi saya masih bertemu dengan sekumpulan besar penumpang yang mendaftar masuk. Saya terpaksa menunggu di kaunter untuk masa yang lama sebelum saya boleh mendaftar masuk. Namun, kemudahan bilik dan reka bentuk yang bersih benar-benar penuh sarapan hotel juga hebat.

Just to be factual, this hotel is in jianyang, so it's quite out of the way from Chengdu city center, not close to any attractions whatsoever, hence the 3 star rating for location (relative to Chengdu city). So start getting busy on your bicycle! Breakfast is really simple, just buns, porridge and small local side dishes. One would probably spend at most 20mins. A bit of a smoky smell when I entered my room, but I'm a single male traveller - can't be bothered. I chose jianyang because I was stopping over for 1 night and wanted to see something a bit different from the usual Chengdu when I last visited Chengdu almost 25yrs ago! So this hotel is right on the bank of the tuo river, plenty of activities to observe the local residents and also to relax in the evening if you want to. Food is not a problem, plenty of restaurants left and right. Would recommend visiting the public museum at 人民路 to understand more about the history of jianyang, then stopover at the nearby shop selling lamb soup - I thought it was pretty darn good. Apparently this is the origin city of 海底捞？don't expect anything fantastic, just a nice place (seems like a residential estate) to wind down. I think jianyang is good for a one day stay and walkabout, this hotel fits the bill well. Not expensive too. Also remember to use the free pickup/dropoff after booking! Cheers

When flying from Moscow to Nha Trang, I had a transfer to Chengdu. I was sure that the airline had booked a room for me at the time of the transfer. But no one met me and couldn't help me find a representative and literally by mistake I got to this Derunda hotel in Chengdu. The hotel staff tried very hard to help me, explaining that I do not have a reservation from the air carrier and if I want to stay, I have to pay. I didn't have enough cash, and the card doesn't work in China, I was confused. But one girl working in a hotel showed special kindness to me and great patience to help. I used the translation app and my kind heart. She helped me calm down and find the right solution. My daughter booked a room online at this hotel and paid for it with a card also online. Thus, I was able to spend time comfortably in this hotel, very beautiful and cozy, a beautiful room, and an incredibly large and comfortable bed allowed me to sleep after a long flight. I was also provided with a transfer to the airport from the hotel. Thank you very much to the hotel and, especially, Pan Jing. This is my savior's girlfriend ❤️

Great choice of hotel near rhe airport. Pickup and dropoff hassle free, just message them on wechat once you arrive. Staff very nice, they helped me retrieve packages from taobao that were sent to lockers 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 coffee and breakfast good, aircon strong in the room, they also have a small shop inside with beverages and snacks. We loved everything 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 thank you for making our last day hassle free

Place is clean and well maintained. Location is a bit far from airport ( 15min drive through the woods / undeveloped roads ), TV / projector doesn't have good connection. Other than that no complaints
