Hotel Kaiping dengan Sarapan

We just had a very nice two-night stay here while visiting all the diaolou of the area. The location is excellent, about 2km from Zili and walking distance to Li Yuan. Other diaolou clusters are 10-20 mins away. The service was friendly and so helpful during our whole visit. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. We enjoyed beef noodles and tea eggs for breakfast the first day and then a simple buffet breakfast the second day of congee, sweet potatoes, noodles, corn. The room was really nice, very high tech and comfortable. The beds were a little hard for us. That was the only negative. We loved the outdoor space with lots of room to hang out during the day and evening. Overall, an excellent stay in Kaiping.

A hidden gem. I don't even want to share this review to make this hotel too popular! As a person who doesn't speak very good Chinese, the staff at this hotel were very accommodating despite the language barrier. When you first arrive at the hotel, you are greeted by a creative garden complete with outdoor dining areas, swings, a fish tank, and more. On check in, the receptionist was very attentive to all of my questions and directed me to the places I asked about through wechat. It was very easy to follow the directions. I was also offered a spread of fresh fruit to enjoy before settling in my room. The room was spacious and clean and had the most advanced toilet that I have ever used! There was a wide open window for a beautiful view of the dialou across the pond. The suite of amenities was also much appreciated, including snacks, toiletries, and slippers. A highlight of this hotel is the breakfast. They not only provide the standard Chinese breakfast fare such as porridge and pastries, but also served local kaiping specialties. They also have food you can order off of a menu but I didn't have anything during my stay. Upon checkout I was also given a goodie bag filled with local specialties and treats which was much appreciated!

This is a beautiful homestay in the middle of an ancient village and close to the main road. If you do not want to walk, they have a rental bike. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although they speak little English, Google Translate has helped. They serve a beautiful table service breakfast. Like most farm homestays in China. They do not have a restaurant. But there is a big one in the next village, and it is walkable. Otherwise, the main square will be 10 minutes away by (DiDI) taxi. The homestay is a renovated Diaolou built over 100 years ago. The stairs were shallow and steep because it is the originals. You can read about their beautiful and extraordinary transformation on the wall of the beautiful Lobby. The room was beautifully furnished, and the A/C and WiFi work beautifully, especially in Southern China. The humidity could be unbearable, which is a big plus. The shower was large and clean, with plenty of hot water. There were also a lot of outside areas. Some rooms also include a private patio and balcony. The amenities were first class: a very comfortable bed and fresh sheets. I highly recommend this place to stay if you want to visit Kaiping. I will be back again. Book fast. I am sure most travelers will find out about this gem soon.

The hotel feels very new. We travelled as a family. And the hotel upgraded our rooms. Front desk staff was very friendly and supportive. The hotel is located 5 min away from Zilicun and 10 min away from Chikan. We saw diaolou from our windows in the hotel. We came in December, rooms are warm. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Everything inside is very clean. The hotel is located in the very nice place. If you want detox from the big city, this is the place. It was very very quiet at night, and the air was very fresh! Kitchen staff was also very kind to meet our dietary restrictions and changed the meals for us. We have got rested, and would definitely recommend to stay here.

I was upgraded to another Hotel. of the same group: Meitang Hotel. A brand new hotel with spectacular rooms and amenities. The STAFF is INCREDIBLE! They were all great and very helpful. Specially STEVE, a great member of the staff who speaks English and who helped me since with all the necessary informations (and translation!) to arrive to Chikan village. He helped me with the taxi driver when I arrived and when I departed. Great member of the staff! I am really thankful to all the help he gave me. Great experience.

Stay in this hotel was good. Rooms are clean, everything looks new. The stuff was very nice and polite. They spoke a bit of English with us. But anyway, everything was clear and ok.  Breakfast is poor, it is a buffet, but not much to offer. Food was fresh and the restaurant was clean and new. But they only had noodles, couple of different vegetables, eggs, some bread options and that's it. Hotel is not that big, not so many guest and it is not crowded. Which was good.

Had a great stay here. The location is good and it has a convenience store right downstairs. The hotel staff also helped to book the show tickets for us as we did not have a local number. Breakfast options are great too. Overall had a great stay here!

Amazing service, we arrived early so the receptionist helped check if any room were available so we could check in early. Location was close to a lot of food and a 15 min walk to the ancient town.

We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. There was a loft space where the kids could play, a double bed at the bottom of the loft and then a room with a queen sized bed. Extremely clean and the robes and lego wall was a nice plus. The hotel is at the far end of the resort, but not difficult to get to. Excellent ancient town and great hotel.

Was a pleasant stay with jinxu chikan. We booked room at block B which just next to 水舞场，can see fireworks from our room . Sound proof is good . Choice of Breakfast got western and Chinese food as well. Front desk helpful to book limited show which we don’t have mainland contact number . They allow us check in early like 1pm . Recommend who those come with group or family.
