PPockyBackpackThis hotel is located off the main road, requiring a short drive on a dirt path up a hill. On clear days, you can enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Since I was traveling alone, the hotel thoughtfully adjusted the hotpot portion to suit one person — which I really appreciated — and it was absolutely delicious.
Every room offers a view of the snowy mountains. The in-room amenities are of high quality, the room is cozy and comfortably warm, and the size is just right — not too big or small. My favorite part, though, was the hotel’s common area, especially during sunset when the snow mountains turn red. The staff even invited me to step outside and take photos, which was so sweet of them.
The next morning, I had to leave early, but breakfast normally starts late. Still, the staff kindly prepared an early breakfast just for me. Overall, the service mindset here is truly impressive, and the hotel’s common area is stunning — a paradise for photography lovers, with countless beautiful spots for pictures.

PPengguna TetamuWe had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay.
We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi.
We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier.

GGuilinfeige川西遊迄今住的最棒的酒店，榻榻米式的房間感覺很温馨恬靜，在酒店公共區間碰到的其他住客都不約而同放低説話聲量。房間裏面配備了氧氣機，不過我們一家人都沒用，倒是那個加濕器完美解決我晚上睡覺鼻孔乾澀的問題。套房超級大，不但兩個房間大，客廳也寬敞，一家人出遊東西本來就多，就是需要這種空間寬敞的房間。客廳的投影也很好用，家裡小孩找到了玩手機遊戲的平替。圖片放的是一人份的早餐，也是加分項。唯一一點不足，淋浴間花灑噴水不利索，水温也不是太夠。

PPengguna Tetamu來一場川西的旅行，收穫了一場最美的雪山，來自贊丹林雪山下牧場酒店啦，酒店贈送的旱地拔葱視頻太美了，回憶感滿滿的，太漂亮啦，被草原環抱的白藏房，看雪山，看木雅大寺，看落日，還可以射箭騎馬，要跟前台小哥哥説，騎馬50快，後面還有木雅大寺的草原，超大的後草原，很開闊很舒服，射箭就對着雪山，坐在餐桌，吃一頓五指毛桃鹽焗雞，等一場落日，簡直太浪漫啦，一定要推薦這家的餐廳啦，好吃不貴，份量夠足啦

PPengguna TetamuI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive.
So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city.
The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones.
I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information.
One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C!
The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

The room is nice and has floor to ceiling windows as well as a glass ceiling with retractable shades that made for an awesome experience of feeling truly immersed in the mountains. The views are great because it is up on a hill. However, one downside of that is the location is difficult to access and you cannot call a ride service to the hotel. But luckily, the owner was incredibly helpful with connecting us with local drivers who were able to take us on day trips and transport us to our next spot. Even after we left the hotel and were staying somewhere else nearby, she helped connect us with another driver to take us to Ya’An. Very grateful for all her help! She also let us use their washing machine to do laundry during our stay, which was super helpful since we were coming off a few days of hiking.

MMelissaHongGrand library with many books. It is apparent that owner had invested substantial capital in the building and room construction. Room has all amenities with both choice of cloth bath towel and disposal. Bed is clean and comfortable but carpet needs attention.
The property also has a resident friendly cute mini Yorkshire terrier who greets guests on arrival. Very charming.
We had dinner at the property, restaurant table was closed and we were seated in cafe library. Very comfortable and calm environment. Meals were reasonable and not bad.
For improvement:
Not sure if it is due to off peak season, service attitude of a few front desk receptionists is lacking and can be improved. Cafe library is closed and we weren’t able to have breakfast there. Reluctantly we had to have breakfast in room which isn’t our preferred choice as the lobby is closed even at 8:15am when we went downstair to check on status of our breakfast.

PPengguna TetamuSuch a good place in the heart of Tagong! Very clean and the owner is an amazing person! I booked a double room but he offered me a free upgrade to a bigger room. He also helped me book a bus and came all the way with me to the bus station to make sure I board the right bus. I really recommend this place!
