Excellent hotel! I found it completely by chance, but it turned out to be the best choice I could have made. The value for money is perfect — everything is at a very high level. The room was clean, neat, and cozy, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. A special highlight was the beautiful balcony with a lovely view over the city. The staff were very friendly, and the room service was truly excellent — fast, polite, and efficient. The location is perfect: there are plenty of cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and shops nearby, the metro is just a couple of steps away, and you can even walk to the Eiffel Tower. I am extremely satisfied with my stay and would like to express my sincere gratitude to the team at Hôtel Montcalm Paris for their outstanding service. Highly recommended — I will definitely come back again!

Located in the 17th Arrondissement, connected to the Palais des Congrès, it is a premier choice for both business travelers and sightseers. The rooms are sleek and modern, but the true draw is the floor-to-ceiling windows. If you book an Eiffel Tower view room, the sight of the ”Iron Lady” sparkling at night is unforgettable. For the ultimate experience, visit Windo Skybar on the 34th floor; sipping a cocktail while overlooking the Arc de Triomphe and the sprawling city lights is a quintessential Parisian moment. Service is efficient and professional, living up to the global Hyatt standard. Verdict: An iconic high-rise hotel offering some of the most spectacular, unobstructed views in all of Paris.

The room was super clean, location is very close to Gare Du Lyon which was easy and convenient for me to move around. I felt that hotel locomo area is safer than maison traverserie. The thing i found a bit funny is that you have to walk up the stairs a little bit because the lift is in the middle. But i guess this is better than no lift at all. Overall it was perfect for me.

It was a lovely staying after Christmas and wonderful location for tourists. The room is relatively big and very comfortable, you’d have a tiny modern kitchen with cutlery, water boiler and hob as well as a fridge. Not to mention the blackout curtains did the job! We had a very good sleep for 2 nights :) The receptionist was very kind and helping! He recommended a restaurant called ‘Au Relais’ for lunch nearby and it turned out absolutely amazing!! At last, we really enjoyed the coffee machine in the lobby so cheap and convenient!

The hotel is very well located, the reception staff are friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. Unfortunately, the housekeeping service did not meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel. For two consecutive days, there was no soap in the shower dispenser. We informed the front desk and were told it would be checked the next day, but the issue was never resolved during our stay. In addition, the room was not cleaned properly. There were small leaves on the floor when we arrived, and they remained there for all four days, suggesting the floor was never properly cleaned. Another issue was that the shower door seal was broken, causing water to leak onto the bathroom floor every time we showered and leaving the bathroom flooded. These are relatively minor maintenance and housekeeping issues, but they are details that guests reasonably expect to be taken care of in a 4-star hotel. Overall, the location and breakfast were great, but the room maintenance and housekeeping need improvement

As a first time guest of this brand and someone unfamiliar with this particular area of Paris, I documented my stay with an entirely objective perspective, and it turned out to exceed expectations. Facilities: The hotel is brand new, and while there was a faint hint of paint smell in the room (likely due to recent renovations), the overall facilities are thoughtfully designed with a youthful, practical, and distinctive style. My base room was around 20 square meters—already significantly larger than other Parisian accommodations in the same price range. According to the website, the hotel also offers family friendly options with kitchens, loft style rooms, and more. The complimentary bedtime tea was excellent a well known French brand also sold at Lafayette ,perfect for unwinding at night. The coffee provided wasn’t quite to my taste, but it was still decent. The basement level (B1) features a laundry room, entertainment area, gym, co-working space, and meeting rooms, all uniquely designed. Notably, there’s a shared kitchen fully equipped for guests to cook their own meals ,a fantastic amenity! Service: It’s clear that the hotel’s opening team is still in training, and while some staff members appeared slightly inexperienced, their dedication was evident. Every request I made was promptly addressed. One employee, Helana, stood out-when she noticed I seemed unsure in the laundry room one evening, she proactively approached me, asked if everything was alright, and offered a solution. The next day, I observed her energetically assisting other colleagues. When I complimented her, she humbly replied that she genuinely enjoys helping others and even shared useful insights about the hotel’s facilities. Another front desk lady (whose name I regrettably forgot) was consistently warm and smiling, resolving my queries with kindness and even granting me a late checkout. Outstanding service like this truly minimizes travel hassles and adds delightful surprises to the journey. Impressed by LYF’s service, I decided to extend my stay by five more nights for a deeper experience. Safety & Transportation: Some had warned that this district might not be the safest, but my stay proved otherwise. The area is well connected, just a five-minute walk to the metro and feels like a residential neighborhood with an artistic vibe. One night, I returned to the hotel at 3 AM via night bus and walked back without issue, as the streets were still lively with people chatting or on dates. The area is both tranquil and culturally vibrant. Dining: Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants are within easy walking distance, making dining options convenient. Booking Recommendation: Ideal for travelers seeking an ”authentic local living” experience, young families, or digital nomads. The base room offers great value, while longer stays may warrant upgrading to a kitchen equipped unit. Final Thoughts: Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Considering its location, price, safety, facilities, and service, it stands out as the best I’ve experienced in Paris. While not the most luxurious, it’s undoubtedly a unique space that lets you feel the pulse of the city. My stay was so enjoyable that I’ve decided to book another five nights after returning from Nice. I’ll share an update after my second stay!

Check-in was smooth and efficient, which set a positive tone for the rest of my stay. The room itself was modern, clean, and well-designed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days exploring the city. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the overall quiet atmosphere. One of the highlights of the hotel is its rooftop terrace, which offers stunning panoramic views of Paris—including a view of the Eiffel Tower. It’s the perfect spot to relax in the evening with a drink and take in the city’s beauty. The location is another strong point. Situated in a pleasant and less crowded area, it still offers easy access to public transport, making it simple to reach major attractions around Paris. Overall, I would highly recommend Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and well-located place to stay in Paris. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel is just in front of the station Gare du nord.Very easy and convenient to go anywhere to Eiffel tower,Louvre museum,and others from here either by bus,metro,Eurostar.U won't get lost.Just the lift for the hotel is a bit small.It can accommodate u and 2 big luggage one time.There is KFC beside the hotel and other cafes.The carrefour is behind the hotel.So u can shop some groceries or snacks also.

Lokasi biliknya sangat bagus. Ia berdekatan dengan dua stesen kereta api bawah tanah dan tiga restoran Cina. Lelaki di meja depan itu sangat kacak dan peramah. Masalah utama ialah saiz bilik air... tinggi saya 1.8 meter dan susah nak pusing-pusing dalam bilik air tetamu yang lebih gemuk, pasti tidak boleh digunakan untuk mandi

We spent 6 nights with my sister and the staff were all so friendly and attentive! The room has all the necessary amenities but there’s no AC so we had to open the window to get some fresh air. During our stay, the restaurant downstairs was closed and the food selection at the rooftop bar was very limited. The other thing is this hotel is right on the border of a sketchy neighborhood so while it’s safe, I would be highly cautious. All in all, it made sense for us because we were gone the whole day and only were at the hotel to sleep.
