Hotel Malang dengan Sarapan

At the first time, I was trying to stay here cause I just need one night before moving to another hostel since it is afforadble I stay here. I arrived late evening. I was welcomed by Mba Gabriel even she contacted me earlier inform me about the hostel location. I was pragmatismed at the begining cause I thought it's just a normal greetings. But when I arrived it looks like a mom who welcome you back to home. Her sister, Mba Diana is also similar, she welcome me in the afternoon when I came back. I thought she was mba gabriel because I cannot differentiate her and mba Gabriel 😂 Btw I extend here for another 3 nights, because the hostel is very clean, smells good and the bedroom is great. You can experience it later by yourself. I guarantee it. Then after two weeks, I traveled back to Malang and staying here again, I feel I was back home haha. Price is affordable. Service is 5 stars and it is like home ❤️ when I come back to Malang staying here is a must cause you also can discuss with them about many things get direction and advice for food. Best in my Indonasia so far! The room was so spacious with the spectacular city view. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. I got a dedicated ambassador and everything was quick. The location is excellent. Highly recommended for your stay in Malang. The only improvement is bedding. The comforter was not very comfy and had stains. Sheets seemed fairly old.

We arrived as early as 11AM and thankfully given early check in. Any hotel that did this is 5 stars in my book! Room and bathroom were clean. Drinkable water can be obtained from dispenser in the hallway. Breakfast was nice! Great selection of food, snacks, pastries, cereals, etc. Hotel location is in the heart of the city. Probably the only minus point was, as a property the hotel is not the most spacious, so less parking area available. Bunch of cars tend to queue in the morning picking up the outgoing guests.

During my stay, I found the hotel's location to be very convenient, as it is close to malls, markets, and many dining options. However, there were a few disappointing aspects. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, the room cleanliness could be improved, and surprisingly, there was no iron available for guests. This is the first time I have experienced something like this at a hotel.

Stayed with family here and it was a great experience as the hotel is located in a very strategic place.

The hotel itself is in the city centre and within a mall which is convenient but it can get very crowded (and jammed) on weekends. The staff are polite and understanding. We had to pay 100k IDR deposit for our rooms but since we were carrying sleeping kids, they let us check into the rooms first. Room is clean but old and basic. The room does not have safe deposit box, unmovable shower head. Basic amenities are dental kit, sanitary bag, shower cap, and lotion. Shampoo and shower gel are 2-in-1 and stuck on the wall. There’s only bath towel (no hand towel). Sound-proofing can be improved since the corridor is not carpeted. Breakfast is free for kids 5 and below. Taste-wise it’s ok. Apart from egg station, salad, waffles and bakery section, the rest are very much Indonesian style.

Stay di hotel yang jadi 1 dgn Apart selalu rempong ribet... Nga suka sebenere tapi apa daya taon bbaruu di malang hotel tengah kota fulll semuaa...jadilah ini pilihan yg ramah dikantong cuman semalam. Sebelumnya 6hari di hotel *5 tengah kota tapi mau extend udah fulll terpaksa pindah kesin. Yang bagus view aja tinggi di Lt11 pas malam tahun baru lumayan liat fireworks dr kamar terhibuur jugaa... Took the executive room and it was spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. Kajoetangan market and many eateries are within walking distance.

Stayed at Ascent for three nights total, staff were friendly and check in was smooth. Room was clean, bathroom could do with some work. The shower head is covered in calcium and is black. The towels and bedsheets could also be washed better as they were stained or a bit smelly. Pool area is lovely but no shade and no pool towels. Pool is also not heated so it’s very cold and not really nice to be in, but nice to look at. If you’re a light sleeper you should stay elsewhere, soundproofing is poor, situated right next to the train station so the horns of trains honk until 2AM. There’s about 12 mosques in the vicinity and you can hear the prayer calls all day. We slept with earplugs and were able to avoid 99% of the noise. Other notes, old TV, great AC, windows in bedrooms don’t open, comfy bed, no fridge. Overall would recommend, just know it’s a noisy hotel and seeing as you’re likely here for the mountain and volcano with early starts, bring earplugs or stay elsewhere! Very good value for money and good location.

The hotel is nice and the personnel also however there is no pool. On the pictures there is a pool but it just didn't exist. The room is nice but it is clearly an old hotel
