PPengguna Tanpa NamaRoom layout is good. It’s not that big, but they set the layout really good so it still feels spacious. No closet, only a limited open space to hang your clothes.
I stayed here for 2 nights, and unfortunately I got lots of troubles during this stay:
1. After checking in, I went to my room immediately, and turned out it’s a super messy room (another guest just checked out and they didn’t clean it up yet). So I had to go back to lobby and asked for another room.
2. In my new room, the AC got leaked and it dripped constantly as long as the AC was on. I had to put a bowl, container, or whatever it is. Already told the staff, he said he would follow up. Nothing they did until the day I checked out.
3. On my second day, I couldn’t even open the room door with my own room card. Guess they only set the card for one night only, so I had to go back to lobby again. They just reset without explaining why it happened.
Actually the staffs were very nice and friendly. Just all those troubles gave me impression that this hotel isn’t professional enough.
Breakfast was good. Not many options available, but good enough to fill your tummy. Location is great. Room is clean. Limited parking area but they had vallet service.

PPengguna TetamuIncredible stay! We booked a night here after a disaster at a neighbouring hotel and our stay was one of the best in Indonesia. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with astonishing hospitality from all the staff members but especially Reza who went above and beyond to ensure that we were welcome and comfortable in the hotel. The facilities are top quality, the room was very clean and extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. The gardens and hotel grounds are extremely well maintained, beautiful, and have lots of space for relaxation or, if you have kids, spaces to keep kids entertained. The hotel has ample options for food/drink and also entertainment and also offers tours of the local area. It was also my girlfriend's birthday and the staff again put in genuine effort to make it a really special day for her, we are extremely grateful for their efforts - 5 star service.
I can strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an escape from the city and to be near mount merapi or who wants a bit of relaxation.

My family & I usually stay in T*ntr*m (been our no 1. option in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Tangerang for a while), but considering NY traffic, decided hotel next to mall as safer option, and I think Marriott Yogya will be our no 1. option in Yogyakarta now.
PRE-STAY
Staying experience actually starts the second we finished the hotel reservation, maybe its long before we even arrive at the hotel. Most dont really optimize this.
What I will highlight is Marriott really put my requests (birthday decor in specific room, connecting rooms) into the system, where everyone can check. From the one handling the WhatsApp to the receptionist the day we arrive, Ilham. And they execute my request really well.
I've experienced some that forget my request and ended up decorating the wrong room, or not facilitating the request, even though they said they will facilitate.
*see pic 8 - 11. It doesnt have to be expensive, businesses have to calculate the cost and margin. Whats important, for me, is put some effort into it. Its part of making the stay memorable.
STAY
I love it when :
- the moment we arrive, the staff helps us by opening the car door, w/ the smile and greeting. Not from just one person, but every staff did the smile and greeting.
- Ilham texted that the other room is ready. Most just rely on guest will be the one to follow up, but not Marriott.
- we asked the way to mall entrance, the staff took us to the entrance, not just directing w/ hands.
- they put anti-slip mat in shower area (pic 6), such a functional addition for safety. Because aesthetic needs to meet w/ function.
- we went out at 8.30 in the morning for culinary & coffee around Yogyakarta and put the cleaning sign on, but forget to call, just to communicate that we want the room cleaned while we're out. 2,5 hours later when we're back, those 2 rooms are neat & tidy.
Some hotels dont notice the difference those make for guest(s).
These, for me, really help building the memorable staying exp.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaRumah itu sangat baik dan memenuhi piawaian lima bintang, tetapi jalan di pergunungan sangat sukar untuk dilalui.
Tambang teksi dari lapangan terbang adalah kira-kira NT$200 dan perjalanan mengambil masa lebih daripada dua jam (dengan mengandaikan lalu lintas tidak terlalu banyak).
Perkhidmatan Ctrip sangat lemah. Sangat disyorkan untuk tidak menempah hotel asing di Ctrip! ! ! Semua maklumat hubungan yang diberikan tidak boleh digunakan untuk menghubungi hotel itu dikatakan maklumat hubungan yang betul yang diberikan oleh pihak ketiga... Apabila saya pergi ke kedai untuk meminta semua maklumat hubungan, ia adalah salah kecuali hotel. alamat.
Jika anda ingin melihat gunung berapi, tidak digalakkan untuk menempah hotel ini semasa musim hujan, kerana terdapat kemungkinan besar anda tidak akan melihatnya. Saya tidak mengesyorkan restoran ini kepada mereka yang tidak suka pepijat Restoran ini berada di atas gunung dan terdapat banyak semut berhampiran makanan dalam bufet sarapan pagi.
Tetapi pemandangannya sangat bagus dan perkhidmatan hotel juga sangat baik. Sayangnya saya mendaftar masuk awal pagi dan tidak menangkap apa-apa untuk minum petang.

Great location .. a lot of eateries from udon to a nice kebab next door...
Breakfast was ok decent.. can't compare to the main artotel at thamrin... But service is kinda slow..
Rooms.... A bit worn down... Especially the toilet area.. tiles are slippery... Towels... Hmmm shall not describe much.. but for the price paid... Ohh well I guess not much complain

DDon Thusitha - AustraliaAs a memeber of Accor Hotels, I book mercure hotels in Jakartha and other countries generally. Here I stayed 2 nights in this Grand Mecure , Yog Yakartha. Firstly, this hotel is super beautiful and decorated, giving value to culture and heritage signages. Every where hotel artefacts matching with heritage Borobudur, prambanan.
Staff is very pleasant, polite, and always with a good smile, helpful, and supportive. Rooms are excellent. Special words should be placed here about breakfast . You can have multiple choices. Inluding Western, eastern, and traditional Indonesian foods and drinks. I think best break fast choices I have ever seen so far.
Restaurant staff also very nice. Bar staff memeber also very good. She somehow managed to provide food and drinks at the last moment last night. Not only that, the security team is also pleasant and helpful. Even though a bit far from Malioboro Street, staying here is fully worth it.

BBumpyOnly 2 good things about this hotel: service and breakfast spread - these are 5 stars! 👍
The rest are not up to expectations.
1. Location is far from town and airport.
2. Amenities are very old. A lot of things are spoiled and yet not replaced or repaired.
3. Because everything is old and dated, they look dirty too. Bedsheets are full of stains!
4. Water pressure of shower is very low. Take a long time to bathe.
I booked here just because the event I was going to was hosted in this hotel. Glad that I didn’t extend my stay after the event. I am sorry but I won’t recommend this hotel.
