I would surely recommend this hotel to anyone. The service was good. Especially to the front desk person staff names Srijita who attended to me and my family. She made our check in and check out abreeze. Another staff named Rengasri whose customer service is excellent. Both of them made our stay comfortable and pleasant. We had two rooms and everything was well take care of. I am glad that Marriott has such staffs and should be recognised. My family and I is extremely happy with the stay.

The hotel was booked on line n specific rooms were requested a few weeks ago )4 rooms)on line, but when we came to check in about mid night, we’re told there was no ref to online check in and we had to show them proof of communication from our WhatsApp. Front desk is not to be blamed since they accommodated us but got is other rooms, No night duty manager but he she would also be not able to assit due to online booking. WiFi does not work in room( excuse was above 4th floor internet is bad) only clear at the lobby. Room toilets shower room edge on the floor have molds. Towels were brownish white. Receptionist does not give you 2 room door tags Since not policy- plus worst the key tag don’t work once you leave the hotel and return later ( in our case after 7 hrs on the same day)- excuse given magnetic issues if key tag kept beside hand phone. Saw a group about 10 family with kids (last night)checking in at night turn down since it did not register their online checking n booking- was so sad to see small kids & elderly tired but no rooms.- did not know the out come since I just went back to the room- hope their booking was accepted). Break first service is so bad that they are not ready for tourist at 7.30am( as we leave early to travel). Today I asked the waiter to on the lights and he was not too please to do so . We choose this hotel since the service was good for the price and have stayed here a few times before the covid BUT will not recommend any one to stay here if management don’t revert to their hospitality

Minas ***or in Tiruchirapalli is a screwed up place without any ***ners . Please don't. Choose since it's close to Airport. It's not at all worth choosing this place to stay, Never go for with this stay, there is an old *** keep frightening customers instead of warm welcome. After having a hectic day tour, he expected the customer to unload, carry and move to our own rooms without any helpers and we as a a10 members of family really shocked the way he behaves and scares us in the night with his words. This old *** may be a staff, but has No sense, No value for customer and not friendly enough. We didn't really felt we were treated in good ***ner at least forget about the facilities and made us to wait at the entrance for long time for identity verification which can be done well before as we have already updated him about our arrival. Overall good stay for family's. But we need to ask them for each and every needs like rooms, hot water, kettle, towels, food service, tv connect, parking. Etc. Actually i have booked premium room after checking with receptionist which they said premium room will good for 2+1 kid when compare with elite room. But they provide elite room when i reach there for check in. After requested only they changed room to premium. Elite room is very small size and even bed, room price also when compare with premium.

In need of total refurbishment. The room was ok except for some reason the main electricity switch for the room is outside of it. On the last morning I was taking a shower and someone must have switched it off so I was in the dark. My room was on the 5th floor and the lift was not working. I took the stairs down in the morning and after that had to use the service lift (no airco and all rusty). The deckchairs around the pool are cracked as well as the cushions. 2 rusty tubes go into the pool. I had booked a room without breakfast by mistake when I went down in the morning I asked how much the breakfast would be. The guy overseeing everything told me it was complementary so I asked again and was he sure about that? 3 times he told me it was complementary so I had breakfast on both mornings but on the 2nd morning after I had taken my breakfast he came to me and told me that actually breakfast is not complementary and that I owed him 840 INR. Needless to say I was not happy about it. When I checked in I paid the totality of my bill so I was only expecting to have to pay the 840 INR of my breakfast. After a long discussion with the receptionist she told me I didn’t have to pay for the breakfast but I still had to settle 1100 INR. I asked what for? And then she told me it was a mistake.

This is an old hotel and shows its age. Although, the rooms are large, the bathroom fitments are from another era. The air-conditioning was the worst. I don't think the HVAC system has been cleaned or maintained regularly. It was difficult to breathe in the room, with a heavy dank air coming out of the duct. 'Will never stay at this property again.

Generally, a lot to improve.

The hotel delivers on all it promises. We stayed on 3rd floor. Room size was adequate, bed linen was clean and bathroom fittings were high end and well maintained. Hot water availabilty in the shower 24X7 was great. Staff are helpful. We got car parking inside the hotel premises itself. The restaurant in ground floor was good. We had booked through agoda and got a deal of Rs 3700 for a night. Righr now, the road outside the hotel is blocked on both sides for some repairs elsewhere and you have to enter the wrong side of the road to access the hotel.

I have changed the rooms from 3rd floor to 2nd floor due to toilet sewage gas not venting properly and stinking and suffocating of our family members, even 2nd floor rooms also. Recent Stay in September 2024 – Feedback We checked in at 2 am due to a last-minute change after a long journey. Initially, there were no available rooms due to the hotel being fully booked. However, the receptionist was extremely helpful. He made several calls to nearby hotels but found no vacancies. Finally, he offered us a room that had been reserved for a guest who failed to arrive by 2 am. 1. Receptionist Service: The receptionist handled everything professionally. He was very helpful, and the check-out process was impressively quick taking no more than a minute. The entire experience was well-organized. 2. Room Quality: o Suitable for 2 people, with a stable Wi-Fi connection. o The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with basic amenities. Despite being located in the heart of the city, it was surprisingly quiet. o The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. o Price was reasonable 3. Location: The hotel is in a perfect location, just a 2-3 minute walk to shopping spots like Chennai Silks and Saratha, and very close to restaurants. It's also near Uchi Pillaiyar Temple, making it ideal for sightseeing. I highly recommend staying here!

SSathyanarayananJVery nice hotel with neat room and good housekeeping. Very near the main temple. Just near the Outer Gopuram as you enter Srirangam from Amma Mandapam side. There is a restaurant below the hotel which serves nice and tasty food. The restaurant is independent and so you should settle the bill separately. However, the accommodation includes free breakfast which is served by the restaurant. Very ideal for temple visit and comfortable stay. They also arrange for darshan. There is ample car parking facility - 4 covered and 4 open. Reasonable tariff and we enjoyed the stay and would be visiting again in future.

PPengguna TetamuWe had booked directly at this hotel. This hotel in located near Chathram bus stand but in a narrow lane behind a popular jewellery show room - no parking whatsoever. People with cars (or even two wheelers) - give this hotel a miss. Even at the time of booking they made it clear that wifi would not be good. On arrival, the person at the front desk was busy on the phone and asked us to wait. Took a few minutes to check in. Handed us an AC remote and that was it. No person to help with luggage, no one to show how the controls in the room work etc. We had alerted them an hour before the arrival as it was a long trip and we were very tired. The room was not at all ready. No towels, no toiletries, no phone to call the front desk. You have to go in person for each and everything. He is always busy on the phone and makes you wait. He gave one towel grudgingly, though he knew we are two. Arrogant, uncaring attitude of the front desk guy spoiled our mood. Towels were worn and not in good shape - we decided to use our own. The room and bathroom looked clean, but there were cobwebs on the bathroom ventilator. The inside of the toilet bowl was filthy. Posting a picture here would be repulsive. There is only one plug point in the room for all your charging needs! If you need to switch on/off the lights, you have to get up from the bed - no controls on the headboard of the bed. Decent LED TV with a set top box and decent selection of channels. AC controls were not intuitive and takes some figuring out. Once done, the AC worked well and provided much needed relief from Trichy's sweltering heat. Bed was medium comfortable, pillows were lousy. What could have been a value for money hotel with good fittings etc is spoiled by poor service, poor design, cleanliness/maintenance and very poor guest relations. Avoid this place.

First of all, the name is correct. I had a great view of the Rock Fort from my room, and I was only on the 1st floor! The rooms are clean and spacious and quite comfortable. There is even a fridge with a minibar (although I did not use it). Not that generous in terms of complimentary items, but adequate. There is a restaurant on the ground floor (this is where breakfast is served) and another on the roof top. Menus are extensive but optimistic! Nice view, but bring a torch if you want to read the menu. The front desk staff are helpful in making arrangements but (at least with one of them) do be alert that you get the right change.
