"We enjoyed the moment the walked into the hotel. Zara was so friendly , we got there early so we left our luggage in safe hands. Zara recommended a variety of places to go and food restaurants which didn’t disappoint. The staff were lovely and friendly and the hotel was so clean lm super fussy . The breakfast was nice we actually enjoyed not having a full buffet to over eat. They cooked the toast for you which was very sweet not used to that. Can’t fault the place. It’s location was fantastic it was quiet so sleep was awesome . It was literally a minute walk and you were interesting in restaurants and music"

"This hotel was a fantastic find - a real gem! The location was perfect for exploring Valletta, and the hotel itself was set in a stunning renovated building, with fantastic interior design features. The staff were so friendly, and willing to be flexible and helpful in any way they could. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a good range of amenities. The breakfast was just right, and you could order what you wanted the day before, so it was very personalised. There is a coffee machine in the lounge, which was free to use all day, as well as at breakfast, which was a real highlight. I loved 19 Rooms, would highly recommend it, and will definitely be coming back! "

"I seldom post a review for the hotels I stayed but my experience with Merlior Boutique hotel had left such an indelible experience that I must leave a good review. This strategically located hotel is very convenient as it’s along the main shopping district of Republic street but it is not noisy at all in our room. Very good and delicious Starbucks breakfast is provided if you select to have it included. Toiletries are from Loccitane which is impressive. Room is extremely comfortable and it’s just at the right temperature even when it’s winter time. Had really a lovely time staying at this incredible boutique hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone considering it when you visit Valletta."

SserenalimxlThe best hotel of our trip!!! The staff are incredibly attentive and warm. Hot tub with a beautiful balcony in our room was a real treat. Breakfast was amazing, prosecco in the evening at rooftop bar with spectacular views. Very clean and comfortable stay. I could have stayed for a week! :)
Only downside was having to pay €2 to store luggage before room was ready.

SSoniaIt was a nice stay. However for a 5-star hotel, there is no full body mirror, no bidet, table and chair as per description. Also, the description of room categories here in Trip. com are misleading so better to double check it first with them.
For the toiletries, the hand soap, shampoo & conditioner, and shower gel are all same. I was under the impression that atleast there will be conditioner but all are same and my hair became very dry. The lotion, cotton buds were not replensihed for a 3-night stay. For the Tv, we struggled to operate and no English channel. I tried to call reception but no one’s answering.
Breakfast is ok and the staffs serving breakfast were so nice and polite.
Room was so clean. However as the room was in the ground floor, we always here the lift and when people are cleaning or doing things in the corridor.

YYuwenTotally beyond my expectation!! From the smiley face welcoming us when we first walked in to the home made turndown macarons to the breakfast (the chef even peeled the tomato skin!); everything impressed me. We stayed two nights in the Casa and it is my first time staying in the Valetta. The hotel focuses on service details!!
Superb location - 10 to 15 mins walk to the bus terminal/ upper and lower Barrakka garden/ the ferry pier with easy access to bars, restaurants, and shops. The building itself is historical and we love the design of the room. The big in-room safe provides extra secure.
But what I love the most is the team. Everyone at the reception and during breakfast service has been super amazing. Special thanks to Peter who performed the room orientation upon check-in, Matthew who assisted me with luggage and escorted me to the uber pick up point upon departure, the pretty lady Sladjana with a big smile and endless jokes that made my day, and Renniel who helped fix the issue of the basin stopper.
Highly recommend Casa Ellul to everyone. Dont miss the wonderful breakfast in the morning!

My room was very spacious, modern and comfortable. Appreciated all the extra toiletries and facilities in the room. Breakfast on the sunny terrace was a delight and much more bountiful than expected. I couldn't fault this hotel. Top marks to all the staff.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel owner is an artist. There are paintings done by him in every floor of the hotel. The hotel located at restricted pedestrian area. Location is second to none. Uber/bolt can come to door before 9:30am. Other time you will need to walk a few blocks to get one.

Auch 24-Stunden-Rezeption ist sehr hilfreich.
Das Bett war sehr bequem, im Zimmer halte ich peraönlich einen Schreibtisch für sinnvoller als einen Frisiertisch. Das Frühstück ist ok.
Der Nachtportier war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereits, die Tagesschicht eher abweisend und stets überrascht, wenn etwas zu tun war. Auf meine Frage, ob sie ein Taxi rufen könne, wurde mir die Gegenfrage gestellt, ob ich kein Bolt oder Uber hätte.
Zum Unterstellen des Gepäcks wurde mir der Schlüssel ausgehändigt: ich habe meinen Koffer selbst in den Gepäckraum im Keller gestellt, aber wenn jeder Gast dort Zutritt hat, macht ja ein abgeschlossener Raum keinen Sinn.
Der Aufenthalt war ok, aber ich wurde das Osbourne nicht noch einmal buchen.

EErngloveWe booked this hotel 1 night for around 150 euro with breakfast, relatively expensive for what we got. Maybe because it's long weekend there.
It's really good location. Classic old hotel but poor condition. Lifts are charming, small but still working. Our room is hidden in staircase area. We had windows with inner view - mean no view and a bit of sunlight. A/C is old but working (not too strong but it's ok) Beds were ok. Quite clean. And it's quiet to stay here.
Have refrigerator and 2 small water bottles.
Sockets in the room are UK type. But it havs 1 that work with my adapter (EU)
Bathroom were old and rusty. Small bathtub. Provided tubes of showergel , shampoo and small soap.
Old Way to do warm water, needs to mix hot and cold in right temperature to not burn you. And it's a bit stinks from those drain. Overall it's ok to think that we just 1 night stay here.
Breakfast room on the 5th floor, spectacular view of the harbour. Food were simple, bread, bacon, yogurt etc.
Staffs were nice, good service. It's super clean too.
It's a shame for location with so poor condition of the room.
