We stayed two nights. This hotel is in an excellent location, a short nice walk to everything we wanted to see. The breakfast was excellent; many choices. The the staff was nice and helpful, and gave us recommendations for dinner. We definitely recommend it.

Came here for the Nor-Fishing exhibition. Hotel was perfect for this. Good location, clean and comfortable. All staff spoke perfect English. Room was more than adequate. Place to work, comfortable bed and good shower. I get sick from air con so was great to be able to open the window. Free coffee downstairs, excellent breakfast. So much choice. Ate in restaurant once had an amazing fish soup with focaccia bread. Big meal was unable to finish it. Complementary bus to show. Dominios pizza a few meters from hotel as well. Very happy with my stay. Will ask my boss if I can stay here next year for Aqua-nor

Central location, 150 meters to the nearest stop for the bus from the airport. The room and bathroom were clean, and the conference facilities were okay. No luxury in the room though, no minibar or fridge. Toilet paper of a thin and rather poor quality. Very good breakfast. Lunch and dinner are available only for pre-booked groups. They had problems serving properly warm food for all guests while we were there, but the meat was quite good, modestly spiced. The house red wine, on the other hand, was served too warm. The blueberry pannacotta with fresh berries which we had for dessert one day was excellent. The reception doubles as a bar, with a limited selection, not a ”feel good” place. To the conference rooms in the basement it is stairs only, otherwise lifts were okay. There are many restaurants and pubs in the vicinity.

Decent hotel in a sentral location. Check in/out was fast. Standard room was quite large. I didn’t care for the decor. Seemed a bit dated and not «fresh». Messy in the main hallway with lots of laundry and cleaning supplies out just outside of my room. Room has limited amenities…no coffee or water cooker, no iron, no minibar, no water glass, not possible to cast to the TV. In my opinion, the bed was not great but pillows were good and ample. Room was quiet. Dining area was ok but maybe a tad small for the number of guests? There is also food available in the evening, which seemed fairly decent…included in the room price. Gym is available next door for a fee, but I did not check it out. Overall, this hotel was fine…I’ve experienced worse…but there are still better hotels in Trondheim.

The hotel staff was courteous and very helpful. The hotel was centrally located and the room was well appointed. The room was a bit stuffy because no AC and we could not open the window. They provided a very effective fan . The breakfast buffet was superb.

The room is clean and nicely appointed. It provides a desk with a very convenient power point. The location is walking distance to the central station, the harbor and the city center.

PPengguna Tetamuentgegen der gemachten Angabe dass das Hotel über ein Hallenbad verfügt, hat es lediglich eine Kooperation mit dem nebenan gelegenen Hallenbad zu vergünstigten Konditionen.
Dies war anfänglich sehr enttäuschend, da dies ein ausschlaggebendes Kriterium war diese Hotel überhaupt zu buchen. Die Rezeptionistin hat es aber wieder gradgebogen :-)

PPengguna TetamuVerrassende stad. Oud en modern zijn mooi op elkaar afgestemd. Prachtige oude straatjes (Bakklandet) met houten huisjes. In Noorse stadjes hebben we het niet zo bewaard aangetroffen (we kwamen via het noorden van het land, dus nog niet wetend van het zuiden). Het is sfeervol. Mooie kathedraal. Op een middag goed te doen. Langer kan ook voor musea, het fort en een park, maar dat hebben wij niet gedaan. Mocht je je afvragen wie Hjalmar Andersen is: hij won drie gouden medailles in 1952, werd drie keer WK en drie keer EK. langebaanschaatsen. Van hem staat een mooi standbeeld in de stad.

Great location, within minutes to St Olaf Square or Sentum, and the Cathedral. There are also a number of supermarkets and eateries nearby. The staff are helpful and friendly, and helped us to book a large taxi for our trip to the airport. The rooms are of an okay size, but the bathrooms are large. The rooms lack a safe, and the electrical points are placed in weird places like the floorboards, but there are many of them. The beds re comfortable and I found them too soft. But the room definitely needs more lights as it is very dark even in the daytime. Also, some of the doors have difficulty locking. In fact, one of the group had to switch rooms to a junior suite as they found their room door unlocked. Breakfast was very good and had wide options e.g. you could have hardboiled or sunny side up eggs with bacon, or the chef can whip up an omelette with ham and mushrooms. There were many choices of cereals, breads, meats and fruits. There was some street noise, also at night, as the tram stop is just outside. They also have automatic shutters, and this can cause some noise as they activate around 7 am. Overall, it is a good hotel in a great location.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location that's very walkable to almost everything you would want to see in Trondheim. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the dining area and bar was comfortable and spacious. We were happy with the size of our room which had a couple of chairs and a table as well as a desk so we had some seating, and a pull out couch for another sleeping area. Cons: There's nowhere to unpack or store clothes expect for a few hooks on the wall. It's ok for a one night stay but if you're staying longer than that it could get uncomfortable.

TTrail04155829711I was visiting Trondheim for one night during a recent trip to Norway. Lovely city and I highly recommend a visit! I was looking for a reasonably priced, well situated hotel and this fit the bill. The good bits. Great location. Less than 10 minutes from the central station and within easy walking distance of all the main sights of the city. The room was basic but spotlessly clean. Comfy and quiet. The not so good bits. Breakfast was not great. The continental spread was fresh and full of variety but the cooked bits were rank. Eggs crusty and dried out, bacon burnt and swimming in fat, beans were stone cold. It’s really not that hard to get right. For me the most disappointing was the team working there. I think they need to be reminded they work in hospitality. No one was rude, but the total lack of any form of welcome or congeniality was noticeable. They simply did not care to be nice or interested in the guests and this is something which really impacts the overall feel of a hotel. The only exception to this were the room attendants who always smiled and greeted you. In summary, worth a visit if you are looking for a central location, but if I had paid more than the off peak price I suspect I would have been left more disappointed.

Check in was terrible. We had to wait Till 16 h, but we saw that people who just came in, received a room and we had to wait ???? I don’t know why???? Perhaps we were Belgian people. PPengguna TetamuI chose this hotel as it was the closest to Trondheim station and I was arriving alone by train after 10 pm at night. It was also the cheapest hotel I stayed in during my 3 week travel around Norway and it was easy to see why. There were no amenities in the hotel room such as a kettle, iron, hairdryer or safe. The carpet was stained, and the TV offered about 6 channels, one of them was Al Jazeera and two of them appeared to be Chinese Government sponsored channels. There was not even the usual offering of Norwegian TV channels, just NRK1 and NRK3. The channels that there were were not properly tuned in and there was distortion on the screen. The WiFi kept dropping in and out so I couldn’t watch anything on my iPad either. There was an overhead light when you entered the room above the door, but nothing above the bed, just two tiny bedside lamps so the room appeared dark and unwelcoming. Neither was there a wardrobe or draws, just a frame to hang clothes on with two hangers. The room was warm, and there was a temperature control so that was a bonus. The view from the window of the room I was in was over the train station and out into the fjord beyond. Luckily it was not noisy although I am aware that there were trains running throughout the night. The shower room was also quite sp**** - the seat on the toilet was broken, the two towels provided were quite threadbare, and there were two dispensers on the wall, one by the sink, the other in the shower dispensing minute quantities of soap. The good point was that the shower itself was strong and hot, and appeared quite clean. The light in the shower room was on a sensor which took a while to switch itself off, this has the potential to be quite annoying if you are sharing the room and one of you gets up in the middle of the night On the ground floor was a breakfast room but I did not have breakfast or anything from the reception area so cannot comment on the food or drink on offer - there were also hot and cold drinks and some pastries on sale from the reception desk. The main thing going for this hotel is its’ proximity to Trondheim Station, however I realised on my first morning there that there significantly better hotels within close, well-lit walking distance across the bridge from the station
