PPengguna TetamuThey say nothing is perfect, but this hotel came close! We received a friendly greeting upon entering the lobby, the check-in process was effortless, and although they didn’t have adjoining rooms they ensured that the second room was mere feet away. They allowed us to check-in a bit early into one room and called within 30 mins to inform us that the second room was ready. They also provided the cooktops so that we could make hot meals for our families. Everyone we encountered was very accommodating from the breakfast staff to housekeeping. Hot breakfast was a plus. The only drawback was that the ice machine was inoperable on our floor so we had to venture down to the first floor to retrieve ice.
The rooms were clean, modern, large and definitely accommodated a family of 5 (2 rooms for total of 10 guests). Many restaurants and plenty of shopping is minutes away, but nothing that shares the same street as the hotel although there is a McDonald’s across the highway inside a gas station. I think not being surrounded by eateries helped navigate entering and exiting the parking lot. Total consensus is we will return soon!

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed at Home2Suite during our last trip to Houston but it was the one at Pearland. We arrived at this one late in the night and the staff at the front desk was very friendly. However once we entered the lift, we were welcomed with a strong greasy smell. The hall way had rug that was clean but obviously old.
The major concern was the room which had a hole in the ceiling inside the toilet dripping water all over the floor. The AC also wasn’t working well that even at 19 degrees Celsius, was still warm. Initial complain to the staff was met with no vacant room, that they were fully booked. We managed for the first three days because we were outdoors most of the time. The room was later changed to a more comfortable one.
The other thing was the swimming pool. My kids really wanted to swim during our stay but the staff mentioned that some handle to the pool was broken and that it was closed.
The breakfast was also good but with little varieties to choose from.

Ccharming_silasThe staff really made the experience above and beyond. We expected a very basic stay, the room and shower/bathroom was extremely clean. The check in/reception was really 100% amazing through and through. They make you feel right at home. Will book here again if needed in the future.

AAna m castellanosI stayed for 4 nights and they had to change my room on the third day because there were cockroaches in the bathroom, the refrigerator, the microwave and the nightstand. However, the next room also had the same problem, a little less so, but there were still more cockroaches.

PPengguna TetamuI checked in very late - around 8-9pm - and the woman at the counter was extremely friendly and nice. She made conversation with us about our trip and our jobs and told us all the available amenities. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast in the morning was your average hotel breakfast, but had more options than I usually see so close to the end of breakfast time. They did not begin cleaning up breakfast right at the end time, which was nice because they let us keep grazing on what was left before finally taking it away about 20 minutes after breakfast had ended. The vending machines were really cool. There were cheap toiletries in the vending machine that you could buy in case you forgot something at home, and the cola vending machine had ice cold drinks for pretty cheap. I had a great time staying at this hotel and would definitely return if I'm ever in the area again. I've stayed at this brand of hotel (Choice Hotels) before and I've always had a great experience.
