Berghotel Biberkopf

Just back from a weeks family ski trip staying in this lovely hotel. Two adults and three children aged 11, 15 and 17. Pros: Really lovely boutique hotel. Spotless. Even before arrival the hotel had arranged our ski passes after an email from us. Design and quality of finishes in this new hotel of a very high standard. Lots of wood, wool, leather .Gorgeous lighting schemes in bedrooms and even corridors. Very cosy. Lovely fire in reception. Has a design magazine feel to it which I loved. Staff helpful and friendly. Spa really nice after a day skiing. Note the pool is very shallow - below knee level/ just for lying in . Lift in hotel opens straight onto gondola Cons : Warth is tiny ….my teenagers were moaning a bit about the lack of evening entertainment or ‘ vibe’. Adults on the other hand will enjoy the peace. Limited restaurant options in village. A few other options were booked out all week and the pizzeria across the road is only takeaway. Hotel restaurant a la carte at times expensive . Overall great stay . Nice easy blue runs in Warth but easy access to Lech etc. Perhaps caution if you have teens or people keen to party. Town dead at night.

We booked the ‘panoramic suite’ and we were not disappointed. I didn’t want to leave the room! The spa bath was the most relaxing thing after a day’s skiing. The hotel is next to the ski lift but the way access is set up is the most easy and convenient I’ve come across - there is a lift from bedrooms down to the ski lockers/boot room, each hotel room has their own heated locker. You then take another lift that takes you to right next to the ski lift, and there was never a queue here. The bar was really stylish and we enjoyed a cocktail or two made by competent bar staff. The restaurant was also very good, maybe one or two more vegetarian dishes would be welcomed to give a bit more choice to a fussy vegetarian like me! The gym and wellness area looked great, but we didn’t use it. The town/village area outside the hotel was very quiet and a bit lacking in atmosphere considering all the accommodation around but we didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else really - except for the odd pizza! The sister hotel also had a nice bar with a good atmosphere. The underground car park was free and had lots of spaces, it is linked directly to reception by lift. Beware though - we followed the car sat nav from the airport instead of Waze/Google Maps and it took us up passed Lech where we found that the mountain road to Warth was closed (we should have checked this, we normally do!), we had to go back down and around the other way. I would thoroughly recommend the Biberkopf.

A nice warm Hotel with fantastic access to the ski lift and the ski area, The hotel has been well furnished to a high standard and the rooms were extremely comfortable, the huge windows in the bedroom offer fantastic views down the valley which is a pleasure to wake Upto, we were lucky enough to have fantastic snow whilst we stayed, the only downside to this was the room whilst having great views was slightly noisy all night with snow clearing operations on the road. the price you pay for fresh powder !! The breakfast were good with an extensive choice of products however the dinner menu was fairly limited. There is little choice of places to eat in the village and if like us you like to experience different food choices most nights you will struggle to find a weeks worth of choices, The ski room and lift are connected via a walk to the sister hotel all underground and not far from the Berghotel. I would say a great choice for a long weekend or short break.

Everything was excellent. The staff do an amazing job and always with a smile. Spa facilities are very nice and include pool, sauna, jacuzzi and nice rest areas. Top location right next to gondola and piste right back to ski room door. Rooms and all areas of hotel are beautiful. Warth ski area is small but adequate and linked with Lech-Zurs

Wir haben unseren diesjährigen Skiurlaub im Hotel Biberkopf in Warth in vollen Zügen genossen. Herausragend ist die Lage - man kommt direkt aus dem Hotel-Skidepot über einen Aufzug (bzw. für die Fleißigen über eine Treppe) zur "Dorfbahn-Gondelbahn". Dann ist man auch direkt im Warther Skigebiet bzw. wenige Liftfahrten weiter über die "Auenfeldjet-Gondelbahn" im ganzen Arlberger Skigebiet. Nachmittags ist Warth zu empfehlen, da der Schnee in den vielen Nordhängen besser ist. Zurück kann man dann mit den Skiern quasi in das Hotel-Skidepot fahren. So etwas nennt man Ski-in/Ski-out. Im Bistro Biberia genießt man nach einem schönen Skitag einen schönen Apéro. Auch zu empfehlen ist die Rodelbahn direkt an der "Dorfbahn-Gondelbahn". Das Hotel ist top ausgestattet und hat eine wunderbare Atmosphäre. Das gilt auch für die schönen Zimmer - besonders schön fanden wir den gemütlichen Alkoven. Hervorheben möchten wir den sehr freundlichen und verbindlichen Service sowie die Qualität des Essens. Beim Frühstück gibt es eine schöne Auswahl und leckere Backwaren. Jeden Tag haben wir uns auf das abwechslungsreiche und köstliche Abendessen gefreut. Alternativ kann man auch à la carte bestellen. Wir bedanken uns herzlich für wundervolle Tage und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch im Hotel Biberkopf.

Wir waren ein verlängertes Wochenende im Biberkopf. Wir konnten bereits früher einchecken und es wurde uns alles gut erklärt. Das Zimmer: Stilvoll und sehr sauber! Das grosse Fenster machte es noch gemütlicher und man hatte das Gefühl, man sei in einer kleinen Wohlfühloase. Das Bett war ebenfalls sehr bequem. Das Spa: Klein aber fein und sehr idyllisch! Bei grösseren Menschenmengen kann es eher ungemütlich werden und es hat dann auch fast zu wenig Ruheplätze. Wir hatten aber immer Glück, dass wir fast alleine waren. Das Sprudelbad, das Ruhebad und die Saunen (für alle etwas dabei) rundeten den aktiven Tag nach dem Skifahren ab. (Mein Highlight waren ja diese leuchtenden Enten in den Bädern :-) ) Ski-In-And-Out: Ich bin begeistert! Das Hotel hat ein Skidepot, wo man alle Sachen auch gleich trocknen kann nach dem Skifahren. Ebenfalls führt der Aufzug direkt zum Hoteleigenen Skilift. Alles perfekt druchdacht; hut ab! Restaurant/Essen: Das Morgenessen war sehr vielfältig und es ist für jeden was dabei. Ein kleines Jammern auf hohem Niveau: Wenn man die "Rush-Hour" kriegt, dann sind alle sehr gestresst und da haben wir dann lange auf unser Spiegelei gewartet und mussten 2-3x nachfragen bis es dann kam. Es sind alle sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und schauen, das jeder Gast zufrieden ist. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ebenfalls wunderbar! Man könnte es kaum besser machen. Wir waren dann am Valentinstag auch dort Abendessen und da haben sie extra ein Valentinstagsmenü gestaltet. Ein Dinner vom Allerfeinsten. Grosse Empfehlung für dieses Hotel!
