Hotel berhampiran Ackerhelden, Bremen

Cannot understand the recent review. Everyone we came in contact with at the hotel was exceptionally friendly and helpful from reception to the cleaners. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots to choose from, fried eggs were not overcooked or greasy, fresh bread and rolls, big muesli selection, fresh fruit... The bed and room were clean and comfortable and not overheated, like many other hotels. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, and as buses to and from the centre come every 10 minutes most of the day. We had a mix-up with credit card payment too, but it was all sorted out quickly and professionally. We will return next time in Bremen!

Hotel bertaraf 4 bintang dalam persekitaran yang sangat indah, betul-betul bertentangan dengan stesen kereta api utama, berhampiran dengan taman yang indah, dan pada masa yang sama di tengah-tengah Bremen. Kakitangan di kedai sangat bersemangat dan perkhidmatan disediakan. Semasa wabak, tetamu juga boleh menikmati penerimaan dan perkhidmatan lengkap bertaraf 4 bintang👍

The Courtyard is located next to Bremen Hbf railway station. The comfortable hotel was built in 2010 and offers 155 rooms and 3 suites over 5 floors. Part of the hotel is the restored Lloyd building from 1913 with artifacts of the North German Lloyd and Bremen's maritime past. Staffs are friendly and correct. Our room was nicely decorated and furnished, with a very good double-bed. The room had desk & chair, fridge, TV, wardrobe with iron & ironing board, safe, airco, club-chair & table, and coffee & tea making facility. We had a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. Free Wi-Fi Internet. Windows can be opened. All was clean. An adequate buffet breakfast is served with a good variety: scrambled eggs & bacon, boiled eggs, sausages, cold cuts, ham & cheeses, bread & toast, rolls & croissants, cereals, fruit juice, milk & yoghurts, preserves, tea & coffee. When you like to stay in an adequate town hotel, Courtyard Bremen is the place for you.

The bed was really loud and bouncy whenever either of us moved. The bedding was also unclean, there was dark stains and boogie (or skin, not sure) on the bedding when we got there. Other than this the staff were really nice and helpful and the bar is really cheap.

Moin! Wir waren vom 27. bis 29.03.23 hier, um die schöne Hansestadt Bremen kennenzulernen. Um schnell und unkompliziert die City Bremens zu erkunden, eignet sich das B&B Hotel hervorragend. Man erreicht das Zentrum bequem ohne Verkehrsmittel. Das Hotel selbst ist modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut und schmackhaft. The Ibis Budget hotel is in a great location right opposite the Hauptbahnhof (main train station for the city). If you’re looking to go to the Bremer Freimarkt in October, it’s right behind the Hauptbahnhof so you couldn’t find a better place. The Altstadt (old town) isn’t far away either, and you can get buses, trams or taxis right outside. This isn’t a hotel for peace and quiet - there is lots going on around it and it was fairly noisy inside and out with all the hustle and bustle of city life. We booked online and I was able to check in prior to arrival which was helpful - on arrival we just picked up keys and signed the forms, and the bill was sent later by email. The room is as you’d expect - very basic but clean and tidy. Everything worked and it all looked fresh. The beds were fairly comfortable and the shower was good. Unfortunately our air conditioning didn’t seem to work properly - there seemed to be no cooling function. As a consequence the room got really hot and stuffy overnight. We couldn’t really open the door because the city outside was noisy. The other serious issue we had was returning to our room after a day out to find it had been left unlocked by the cleaners. Luckily nothing had been taken, but I was not happy. The price was reasonable and the 12pm checkout is later than many hotels. We just had to drop our keys in a box in the lobby. In summary - this hotel’s best asset is its location. If you want to be in the middle of things:l, this place is for you.

The laundry cost 5 euros, which is fine but I was disappointed that when I was told I could get the laundry at five pm, when I arrive at the laundry room it wasn’t ready. The location is about five minutes walk from the central train station. If you arrive very late at night, I recommend staying highly vigilant. Better have company if you really need to go out at night. The staff is very friendly. But there’s a sign in from of the hotel that says don’t bring any firearms or knife there. Wonder what happened before the sign was erected. The room that was assigned to me didn’t face a highway, and I was able to use the microwave and the fridge in the hotel It’s about 5 minutes walk to the museum and about 15-20 mins walk to downtown center. A very good location for business people.

Checkin in past midnight was no problem and the receptionist was as kind and polite as I assumed they would be during day. Room was small, but clean and well-design. Only downside, no free water bottles. Though in Germany you can drink the tap water.

My stay was great. The staff was always helpful, and willing to accommodate everything you needed. Most spoke English very well which was also helpful and appreciated. The bar was great, the food was great, staff and amenities was great. Any time I'm in Germany I'll be staying at this hotel.
